The Elms of Kingstowne has proven to be a good move for my family when we chose to downsize. It is quite and the people are friendly. I would love to see more exterior lights in the parking lot, but we are happy in the Elms, so far.

I've dealt with Vijil & Patty & both were pleasant. Vijil was our leading specialist & we love her! Maintenance is prompt & professional. No where is perfect & has little errors here & there but they're pretty darn close. Love the Elms!

The Elms is a very nice, clean, well maintained apartment community, well located near public transit, shopping and dining in the Kingstowne area of Alexandria. Mgmt is professional and responsive, and residents are diverse, upscale and responsible.

The apartment complex is quiet, clean, the staff is friendly and the price is competitive for the Kingstowne area. Some appliances such as the dishwasher and washer/dryer could use some upgrades otherwise this is a great place to live.

This place is very good, excellent staff if you need any assistance, you will get fast response. Very nice neighborhood and very clean. There is a very big play ground for kids in the back of the apar.

I have always found it a very positive environment to live at the Elms. The staff are fabulous and always so quick to respond to my needs. The few times I have had maintenance issues, they were out there the same day or the next business day. The grounds are so well maintained and the area is beautiful.

I have lived at the Elms property since 2015 and I honestly have no real complaints. The neighborhood is relatively quiet, comfortable, feels safe, and is conveniently located close to restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. The community gym saves me money since I don't necessarily have to get a membership at the local gym. The appliance are in great shape even though I did not opt to have a newly renovated property. There are not a lot of children in the neighborhood which in my opinion is a pro and con since I have an active child. Maintenance is always quick. My utility bills are reasonable. My neighbors are respectable. I have lived in 2 different units and both have been up to par. I especially loved having the patio facing the wooded area. Also, I was beyond happy about not having an issue with parking or having to deal with towing companies preying on renters like I dealt with at previous properties. I would recommend the property to family and friends.

As a long time resident at The Elms, I wanted to write about how pleased I am with living at Kingstowne. The upgrades that were made were great and the transition of work was handled wonderfully. The staff communicated with the residents and the workers were always friendly and professional. The grounds are always maintained and the office staff is always available to handle any concerns that I may have. In this day and age when people are always in a hurry to complain and pass judgment, I'd like to recognize Pat, the Property Manager, and her team for a job well done.

A great place to call 'home';just renewed my lease with the elms at kingstowne.The apartments are very spacious and well designed to get adequate sunlight in all rooms.The facilities and common areas are always kept clean by courteous workers.Even the trash areas are very clean. Quick response in case of any maintenance. Shopping centers,restaurants and doctors offices are available at walkable distance. A very silent community-people are rarely seen outside. The only deficit is that the play area is located on the other side of the mainroad which makes it difficult for me to take my toddler there I strongly recommend this place to anyone who is searching an apartment in Alexandria

The Elms at Kingstowne is a great place to live! The office staff is great and the maintenance staff are very responsive and polite. There is ample parking for both residents and guests.The apartments are very spacious, nice, and clean. I have had no issues with pests or neighbors or random fees.

Nice clean apartment with easy walking distance to grocery stores. I like the view of the forest from my balcony. The staff are very friendly and always happy to help. The washer and dryer are very convenient where the washer it top loaded and the dryer is above it as a front load.

Living at the Elms at Kingstowne has been a very pleasant experience for me. I was new to the East Coast when I moved in and did not have the opportunity to see the apartment first but did a ton of research and talked on the phone to management first. It made the move in from out of state easy and I was very pleasantly surprised with how nice the apartment and area was once I moved in. Great place!

When I first toured the complex, I couldn't believe the value i received renting at Kingstowne Elms, swimming pools, tennis courts, racquetball court, huge open field to walk your dog, volleyball court, Bar-B-Que grill, car wash section, social events, discounted movie tickets, welcoming management and staff with all types of goodies, like coffee, tea, and cookies. It's been a very pleasant, relaxing, safe, and enjoyable stay at The Elms. Thank you all. And did I mention Pet friendly!!!! ;)

The maintenance are great. Everything is on time. In summer or winter. Especially in the snow day. The staff there to clean the snow and open the road. The swimming pool is always clean. The machines are always clean and work.

I just renewed my lease with the Elms at Kingstowne for the second year. The staff at the Elms makes it extremely easy to do so, and they are more than happy to help with any questions I have. The grounds are beautiful, and I always see the maintenance employees outside making sure everything is well kept. The community is very quiet, and I always feel safe no matter the time of day. The rent is pretty reasonable for the Kingstowne area, and the units are spacious and open.

I have lived at the Elms at Kingstowne for a year and I couldn't be happier. The office staff and the maintenance crew are quick to respond, friendly and very professional. I do have a neighbor above me who has a heavy walk and I can hear them when they come home and a few hours in the evening but other than that, I do not hear any of the neighbors. The area is safe and everything is conveniently located. I can do my grocery, clothes shopping, entertainment, etc. all close by. Overall, I recommend the Elms at Kingstowne as a wonderful place to live.

The apartment community has been very nice, the staff are excellent and very welcoming. Typically keep to myself, so I do not see other residents often, but everyone typically seems nice when seen walking around the community.
