People who live here seem nice, and the dogs I meet in the elevator are very sweet. The staff are very responsive, helpful and courteous. The location is excellent - practically right across from the Eisenhower Metro Station.

Staff is helpful and place is kept neat. HVAC system is positioned within each unit and pipes vibrate against bedroom and Meridian makes its renters financial responsible charging $1800 per their policy for soundproofing.

The community is nice. The secretaries are friendly, it's nice to see so many happy families with pets, the metro can be kind of loud at first but you get used to it, and I wish I could have FiOS over Xfinity but you don't have a choice.

A hotel-like experience! Outstanding service and amenities including garage, pool, and fitness center; close to federal employers, grocery stores, restaurants, and metro rail. Friendly and professional property management team. Building construction is superior and includes many safety features such as limited access to resident floors and garage. It is a superb living experience and a great place to call home!

So far so good! The apartment is kept very clean and the lobby is always well-decorated, with fresh coffee every morning. The concierge staff is very friendly, and I think you get a lot for your money for the DMV area. Great access to the Eisenhower metro and the gym and outdoor patio are great amenities. Would highly recommend!

Great pre-lease experience. Move-in was a breeze. Inspection noted several small issues which were resolved quickly. Parking facilities quite handy. Good recylcing program here. Some have complained about Metro train noise, but now I sleep through it--not really an issue. Gald I decided to come to Meridian at Eisenhower. Very convenient to National Airport as I travel about once per month and don't have to deal with parking at the airport.

The apartment complex is conveniently located nearby metro, Whole Foods, Giant and Old Town. We love being near the Hoffman movie theater too. Maintenance and office staff are great. Community events are nice and add value for price of renting.

It's wonderful! Staff is extremely helpful. Community is clean and safe. I think the parking fee is a bit much ($75 for first car, $125 for second....) but when we walked into the apartment we fell in love.... and what are you going to do?!

Good access to metro, but that means it's loud. Old town Alexandria is walkable, although it's a long walk. My AC was fixed and then started leaking a month or two later. Rent increased 5% after 1 year.

We have enjoyed our time at the Meridian. They have a variety of floor plans that have considerably more space than other buildings we looked into. Our unit is classified as a one-bedroom, but has two legal bedrooms and only one bathroom and walk-through closet, leaving more space in the floor plan for living and dining, and a larger master bedroom. The common areas are clean, and the front desk staff is helpful and responsive. The neightborhood has a lot more restaurants than we realized, and several very good ones. Try Trademark, Delia's, Yves Bistro and the thai restaurants! We have been generally happy, but want to note some of the downsides: Arranging the loading dock became such a hassle, we were relieved to finally not have anything else essential to move into the apartment. The staff seems to be instructed to discourage people from using it. They require you book it for several hours, and in advance, even if you only need one piece delivered quickly, and the shipping companies don't always give you a lot of advance notice. I understand abuse of community features happen, and some organization is needed, but it added a lot of stress to buying a bed that I needed since mine was still overseas. The decor in the apartments is beige on beige, including nearly white carpet. It is nice that it is new, replaced between each tenant, but it looks dingy fast and requires more maintenance then it would seem. Ours was also installed quickly, and several tacks are sticking up through the carpet near seams. The hours of the common outdoor space have been reduced, so after 9pm it can not be accessed. This is a bit disappointing since no one has a balcony, and there are very few places close by with that "park-like" setting. The closets are poorly designed, so much of the space in the walk-through is not useable to hang clothes. The second bedroom closet has wire shelves. We have to use the second bedroom closet for my husbands clothes that need to be hung up. We have a lot less storage than it appeared after leasing, and there are no storage units on site to rent. The pool area is on the 12th floor, and lacks any shade or other typical pool area amenities. On lounge chairs, small tables, and one dining table is provided. Small children seem to enjoy this area, but it does not seem to attract as many adult users.

Peaceful environment. Don't feel threatened living here. Most people generally remain to themselves. Concierge and office staff are very efficient. I have never felt bothered by staff to enter my unit without my being there.
