The access to the Metro is handy. It is literally right across the street. However, I can hear the metro noise on the tracks at 4 a.m. I wish there were more community events offered as a meet and greet with the other residents in the building. I would prefer more businesses in the vacant spaces, like perhaps a sports bar.

Meridian at Eisenhower station is one of those communities where I didn't feel the need to extensively research them online to ensure that it was a good property. From the moment of a tour I was greeted by a friendly staff member, who took his time to show the building and answer any and all questions. I was impressed by how well the property was kept. This has remained the same during the move in process, as I really couldn't have asked for more.

Excellent in every way. Great staff and amenities. Great value for the money--rented a two-bedroom with lots of space and lots of storage at the same price we were paying for a 1 bedroom in another community. Love the amenities and the decor in common areas. Fantastic location.

Great staff, great amenities, great rooms! Reasonable rent price and has a great location. Right across the street from the metro and plenty of food and entertainment to find in the area! Would highly recommend.

Recently moved in and so far has been great experience. Leasing staff and concierges are friendly and building amenities are nice to have. Close to the metro (yes, sometimes you can hear from room, but not bad), and great safe location. Can submit maintenance requests online and are handled within 2 days. Package notification system (get an e-mail or text when package is at front desk) is great.

Nice apartment community, very pricy just as most DMV apartments with extra costs for parking. Roommates and 2 income households may be fine but for singles very pricy for 1 income, cheaper to have a mortgage. Overall a nice community, Thanks

This is a great community in terms of location, unit, and staff. I didnt think that I would enjoy living in a high rise but it has been great. The office is responsive, never any parking issues, package notifications. All good stuff!

Front desk and leasing staff have generally been very helpful, friendly and responsive. Easy move in process and most maintenance requests have been handled quickly (the one that hasn't been is really minor). Easy access to Old Town Alexandria and DC via metro.

Cons: Charge $1 per page for printing...so ridiculous...almost price gouging. Staff: I find the staff, especially, the concierges to be impersonal or down right rude. The apartment management has a very corporate style of managing which I find very annoying. Whenever you need something as minor as to use the conference room to study past the normal closing time of 10:00 they refer to what the policy is from corporate mgmt. It's almost like they are not empowered to consider concerns and take suggestions because they're limited by their corporate bosses. Pros: High-quality coffee every morning that's the same as what's served at certain resorts and hotels Nice, useful sunroom with certain floor plans Super convenient to metro. Literally two minutes.

Luxury apartments next to the USPTO. Great layouts and amenities. The community offers a wide variety of layouts. Some of the 2 bed 2 bath ones are perfect for roommates. The gym and pool provide worthwhile additions. The building offers free coffee every morning for residents.

Close enough that you can hear the metro passing by, but that comes with the territory of being a stone's throw away which is handy when you need to walk to/from it a lot. The streets are surprisingly quiet for the area; I was expecting more vehicle traffic, but it's pretty easy to get around with my dog.

I just recently moved in. The condition of the apartment prior to move-in was spotless and the responsiveness of management and staff was excellent. So far, my experience living here has exceeded my expectations. This is a really well managed community.

I was looking to downsize and find an apartment closer to work. This met all my needs with a very reasonable price for location. Staff and tenants are very friendly and the amenities are great. If your looking for easy access to the metro in a nice area give this place a look!

I LOVE living in the Meridian at Eisenhower. The entire staff are friendly and any maintenance issues are fixed promptly. The building is well maintained also. This is the best rental experience I've ever had! I highly recommend this apartment building.

Great staff. All members of the staff are very friendly and accomodating. I haven't met a single staff member that I didn't like. The common areas are very clean. Great location. The parking garage gets a little stuffy in the summer. Just need the fans on to vent out the place. Thanks.

Pretty much perfect. The trains are loud but that's expected. Love the staff. Really fast maintenance. It's a little costly but it's worth it. Also there's not too much around the neighborhood but Old Town is just a walk away. Don't really have any complaints.

There should be an Elevator for DOGS/CATS ONLY. Everyone is not a Dog/animal lover. DOGS in building are Huge, BIG, Scary, Dangerous.I'm afraid to come in and out of elevator because of Dogs. Different DOG breeds and sizes. If there was a floor with NO DOGs

My wife and I moved in just before Christmas of 2015. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. We were very satisfied with the community and its' location. We had an initial problem with the heater and the maintenance team responded quickly and courteously. We couldn't ask for anything is home.

Wonderful place to live with a fantastic community atmosphere. The festivities held by management are fun giving residents a better opportunity to meet their neighbors. Easy access to the Metro makes this apartment a great place to live for commuters.

We have had a great experience living at Meridian at Eisenhower. The location is very convenient to public transportation, Whole Foods, and Old Town Alexandria. The public areas of the building are beautifully maintained, and the building always has great events for different holidays. One negative for us is that Paradigm has been constructing a new building across the street (which is the way our apartment faces) since we moved in (August 2014). Prior to signing our lease, we were told that construction would be done Fall 2015, which it actually is not going to be completed until Spring/Summer 2016. It will be very nice when it is done, but in the meantime it has been a bit of an eye and ear sore. Also, there is not a good space provided for dog "walking," and the building is very strict about not allowing dogs to use any areas on the block where the building is located. There is ample space in the back of the building were a smaller "dog run" could be easily built to ease tenants' ability to take their dog out for a quick bathroom break.

Great place, great location, great value. I chose Meridian Eisenhower Station for its ease of access to Metro, proximity to Old Town. My corner unit is light, bright and has a great view of the Potomac from two sides. Add in the fitness center and it's a combination that's hard to beat.

Save yourself the stress and live elsewhere. I'll include some of my grievances below. -The landlord commonly makes mistakes on the billing statement, Over the past 7 months, I've had 5 different amounts "due". The landlord will then realize their mistake and tape a rather large bill to your door with a due date of the following morning. If you don't pay the following morning, you owe a $100 late fee. Now, I'm not opposed to paying what I owe, but if you are like me on Active Duty and travel quite frequently for several days at a time, a note taped on the door will not suffice. Get better accountants. -The bill breakdown on the monthly statements are non-existent. It will literally say $xxxx - Rent. Thanks for the details guy, I would appreciate to know what the rent breakdown is, especially when it seems to be a different amount every month. -Rats in the parking garage. Self-explanatory, the parking garage is disgusting and you can commonly see rats scurrying around in the morning. I'm not new to living in rat infestations, but if I pay thousands of dollars a month, maybe put down a rat trap or two, just a suggestion. -Noise. The metro runs within a few yards of the left side of the building. If you live on that, or are thinking about getting an apartment on that side, I'd advise you to buy a solid pair of earplugs and don't open the windows. -Pets. This is less the apartment and more the people living there. The pet policy is way to relaxed. Dogs will bark at all hours of the night. Then they take the dogs downstairs to the sidewalk to let them defecate and, lord knows, they do not pick it up. The apartment responded by posting a flyer on the window to remind you to pick up your pets' droppings. No one apparently read it. To the owner of the small dog, two doors down, I hate you with every fiber of my being. -Gym. Equipment has been broken for months. Staff knows, does nothing. -Pool. It's gross. Typical public pool-esque cesspool. Band-aids, dirt, trash, etc.. are just some miscellaneous treasures you will find at the bottom. -Smell. I invited my family over when I moved in. Their first question was "why does this smell like urine?" Excellent question! probably has something to do with the pets. -If you plan on moving out, buying a new car, getting rid of one of your cars/motorcycles, or doing anything that could remotely effect how much you pay, submit it in writing 60 days before or face months of continued payment (make sure you make a copy of what you submit, they will shiest you out of your money, trust me.) -Construction. There are two construction sites located in the front and left of the building. These sites are active from 0600 to 1600. Again, out of the apartments control, but if you do shift work, you are going to have to accept the severe lack of sleep. Get used to the dirt, debris and eye sore. -Utility Bills. Average break down for 2 occupants with less than average consumption. Gas ($35), Sewer/Water ($50), Electricity ($180), Internet/Cable ($100). Parking 1st car ($75) Parking 2nd Car*($100) So for you smart shoppers, add $540 minimum to your monthly rent. -Outdoor Patio, closed during the entirety of winter. I understand "safety" but I'm an adult and its a feature I pay for. Open it. -Parking Garage. Proof that a blind architect can still find work. The pillars are so large that there is absolutely no way to park two large cars side by side. Anything bigger than a compact, and you are climbing out of your trunk. -Moving in. I deeply wish I wrote down his name, but an employee came out to yell at the moving party because the truck stuck out of the loading bay, and blocked the sidewalk. He said it was a safety concern and I needed to move it immediately. We moved the truck across the way and lugged the equipment through the pay, up the platform, into the loading elevator. Now, I enjoy a workout as much as the next guy, but the real problem occurred the next Monday, when all of the trashcans were set on the sidewalk, clearly blocking all view and passage. So, it's cool to leave large dumpsters, which block the view from the parking garage, on the sidewalk for half the day, but not a U-haul for 2 hours. First impression was NOT the best. -Fire alarm. Two problems with this system. First, it goes of erroneously, usually in the middle of the night. So far this month, I've counted 3 false alarms. Luckily, that moves us into problem #2, the alarm cannot be heard unless your apartment is silent (refer back to the metro and pet items). In the event of a real fire, put your head between your legs and pucker up. Pros -The staff is nice. -Usually new carpet when you move in. (which you will undoubtedly pay for when you move out.) This is just my humble opinion. I wish I had seen an in-depth review before I leased. I look forward to my lease being up. You better believe I'll submit my written notice well before the 60 days. I will provide an update later if contacted by management.

My experience living at my community has been wonderful. The management staff and concierge/front desk staff are fantastic. They are very helpful and friendly. The only problem I had was a neighbor that continued to smoked when the building became a nonsmoking building. She also let her door slam hard early in the morning and late at night.
