Great space and management. Location is ideal to work and getting to DC through the metro. The process of visiting, leasing, getting information, and moving-in are top-notch. The only complaint so far is that the metro noise and construction is louder than expected even on 24th floor.

Sooo many glowing reviews. Am I the only one fed up with the Metro noise (the tracks are right outside my window)? Or how about the noise from two construction projects that won't be completed until 2017? There isn't much to do in the immediate area...I'd check out Arlington or DC before this neighborhood.

I have been here for two tears and love it. The key word is convenience. The metro across the street, a convenience store next door and walking distance to Old Town Alexandria. The staff is great and service is always done promptly. Absolutely love it! You can hear the Metro but I will trade that for it being so close.

The location is really really hard to beat. Getting on the 495/95/395 is very easy and we are right next to Metro. Additionally there is a lot to do nearby and within walking distance. We are considering buying a condo as close as we can here; it's that good. Meridian at Eisenhower itself is very good. The staff is great/responsive and the amenities are generally very good. Parking is much better than most other Meridians although the remote garage opener is finicky. The gym is updated regularly it seems and has a decent variety of equipment. There is a nice elevated park area on the same level. The only disappointing amenity has been the pool; while it is small (typical for an apartment I guess), it tends to open for only a short time each year and the hours just never seem to work out for us. It ends up being closed on the one weekday we are free (multiple years in a row) or stormy weather shuts it down. The pool is tiny but we'd still like to use it; unfortunately we've only been able to do it twice in nearly two years.

This is a well built building full of nice residents and lots of dogs. The leasing and office management staff are professional, courteous, and helpful and seem to care about meeting residents' needs. Paradigm management is superior to what I have encountered at other property management places in the area! The others have been so poor or deficient that they made it easy for me to determine what would constitute professional and courteous service. So, I would not hesitate to recommend renting here to anyone.

I had a pleasant experience with my move. Michael was able to help me through out the process smoothly. He was prompt, efficient and friendly. I love the building and the security features overall. Hoping to enjoy my stay in this apartment and possibly extending my lease.

The noise of the highway and the metro are louder than I expected, but considering all the other benefits associated with the building with respect to my needs, I'm fine with the noise level. Plus, the building, itself is very quiet and I have yet to hear my neighbors' activities at all, which is amazing.

It's extremely expensive to live here when you add on a parking fee, pet fee & utilities. Metro & Amtrak trains running next to the building are very loud all night long. The parking spots are tiny the gate to the indoor parking doesn't always work. Police cars often sit outside in the parking lot with their lights flashing. The appliances are cheap: the dishwasher etches your glasses.

This is one of the better experiences I have had. The staff is very efficient and friendly. Having a Metro station directly across the street is very convenient, and conducive to my not havingh to drive to work, as my workplace (Pentagon) is a Metro stop.

While this complex is recommended, be prepared for a substantial rent hike at the end of your lease, particularly if you have moved in on a special lease deal that lasts longer than 12 months. Perversely, they will get you in the door with a lowered monthly rental rate for signing a lease longer than a year, then recoup the lowered price by the addition of one or more months' rent, then jack your rent up by a couple of hundred dollars to renew at lease end. You would think they would want to keep good tenants who pay rent on time, but no, such hefty rent increases drive good renters away. Meridian nickles and dimes renters for fees on everything and on rental increases - duplicate key fees, guest parking fees, steep annual rental hikes, move out costs, etc. After a while living there, you wonder just how much you really need such a lavish lobby, a cushy club type room, a friendly office staff, etc.? None of these things help your wallet, and Meridian will get it back from you in $$$ here and there, including rent hikes. Do you really need such lavishness when it comes out of your back pocket? Then, there is the 24/7 metro train noise. The rents are way too high for this type of constant noise. You can't leave your windows open for too long - you can't hear your TV, you can't hear conversations in your apartment, you can't sleep with your windows open. Finally, the places is surrounded by cement, with no shopping or dine-in restaurants nearby. Basically, the sidewalks roll up by 6 p.m., and Eisenhower can become a car racing strip at night when the police are not around. So, consider these things and shop around. A little less lavishness in amenities and grounds, coupled with a quieter location, competent office staff, and reasonable annual rent increases (not sky high like the ones at Meridian) are really all you need. Never again will I rent to pay for such lavishness - they get it back from you $$$, in spades.

The building is well kept for it to be an older building. It would be nice if the building would have a computer room, serve coffee until noon doing the week. I have no complaints. The Manager is doing a great job, and also his staff.

This is a great place to live in the Washington D.C. area. The location to the Metro system at the Eisenhower and King street station is just minutes away. The short distance and the convenience to restaurants and shopping in Old Town Alexandria is just a short walk from the building.

This has been a professional and great place to live friendly and outgoing community. I have been here for just over a year and have not one complaint to share with anyone. Come to think of it the elevators could use some maint as they do not alway take your floor number without pushing the button a few dozen times

Good location.Main attractions are the metro station, good restaurants, movie theatre are within walking distance. The 495 beltway only takes less than 5 mins to reach. It is one of the best convenient place to live. Very satisfied with my first experience living in a high rise apartment.

Terrific community. The staff our wonderful. Love my apartment. I feel safe, comfortable and happy. Nice place to come home to after a busy day at work. Fun to have so many well behaved, quiet dogs living with the neighbors and brightening my day on elevator rides.

I have lived here for five years and am very satisfied. The apartments are well designed and constructed, and the location is perfect for me. Noise is not a problem, and the maintenance staff are very responsive and helpful. I like being within walking distance of Old Town and immediately adjacent to a Metro Station.

I very much like the experience of living in the Meridian at Eisenhower Station. We had previously lived in downtown Washington, D.C., so my only complaint is that there is less to do in the Carlyle area. That complaint is obviously relative.

It's been ideal for me. The location is almost perfect. Very convenient to the Metro as well as access to/from the Beltway. The staff is friendly and professional. The building is aesthetically pleasing and well maintained. My apartment faces the Metro track, so I do get some noise from passing trains, but it's not unbearable and I like my apartment's layout. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

I moved in in 2013 and I really enjoy living here. The apartments are new, neighbors and staff are friendly, and I am conveniently located. Old Town Alexandria is nearby as a plus. The community is also pet friendly. I would recommend this place to a friend.

Meridian at Eisenhower is a great building with conscientious and customer oriented staff. The building is always very clean, including the fitness room. Great attention is given to social interaction among residents. Excellent attention is also given to safety and security. The short walk to the Eisenhower Metro is a huge plus. The rent is expensive, but is a relatively good value for the area.

The Meridian at Eisenhower is a great place to live. Friendly neighbors. Fantastic staff. Convenient location. I've seen other reviews that complain about the noise of the metro, but my apartment is right across from the metro and I barely notice unless I have my window open.

In the past four years, no real complaints about Meridian at Eisenhower. Our units (we've lived in three) are always nice. Maintenance is fast and courteous. Lots of resident perks. There are some inconsiderate neighbors, but you'll have those wherever you go. There is also some noise from the metro, but the convenience leaves that to be expected. Additionally, the noise isn't enough to get bent out of shape over.
