We love it here! The staff is so friendly and attentive!! Our Leasing Agent Michael is top notch. Our apartment is beautiful and the building is very well kept. The location is so convenient and there are so many restaurants and fun things to do.

Overall an okay apartment. Location makes it easy to commute into DC via the metro and also close to I-95. This is a noisy area with the metro trains constantly transiting and also the noise from I-95. Common spaces are well kept but extremely plain (no bbq in courtyard, nothing in pool area besides chairs, etc). For a comparable price I would rather live in other building in the area.

Great friendly staff. The community has easy access to dining, entertainment, and transportation. One negative is the loudness of the metro when it passes by. Pet friendly; however, they don't allow visiting pets---visiting pets should be allowed if owner has pet and is already paying a pet fee.

I'm very happy here. A very clean and professional place to live in. Maintenance is constantly kept up in this building and very convenient to the Metro. Easy access to the beltway and Old Town is just minutes away with restaurants of your choice.

The neighborhood is good, albeit surprisingly quiet and empty in the evening for the density of development. It's great to be so close to a metro station, and the building is always well-maintained aside from periodic elevator issues.

I am very happy with Meridian Eisenhower and with all of the staff. The people in the building are friendly and it feels like a community ....my only problem has been that it is complicated and sometimes impossible to secure convenient parking for guests. Maybe that is true in most apartment buildings.

The apartment was in excellent condition and the staff was friendly and helpful. I feel like I live in a five star hotel and not an apartment building. The amenities are excellent and I feel as though I am being spoiled.

Conveniently located...
Conveniently located across the street from the metro rail, easy access to old town and downtown DC. Complex is extremely clean considering it is a dog friendly community. No problems with parking. Unit was in perfect move in condition when we arrived.

So far everyone involved,...
So far everyone involved, from the leasing office to the concierge to maintenance, has been very professional and friendly on a daily basis. The building is very clean, safe, quiet and convenient. The rooftop pool is by far a favorite of mine. It's a relaxing oasis with vast views from every angle. I also enjoy the courtyard with its wonderful landscape and amenities. The underground parking is a huge plus too.

So far a very good experience as far as living. However, continuing increasing rent prices will likely force me to seek other living accommodations once my current lease expires.

I've lived here 2.5 years and love it! All of my friends who visit are impressed and I've recommended it to everyone I know who has moved to DC, one guy even did. The staff are fantastic, and have made it easy as pie to enjoy my time living in the area - which is also amazing.

Been here a month, and am quite pleased. My 1 BR, 880 sq ft, goes for $1680. That is a special deal, which will go up in Year 2, but seems reasonable for the location and compared to others I saw. Building amenities look great. Obviously haven't used the pool yet. Sadly you can't bring your beverage of choice to the pool. Wonder if enforced? On the 6th floor and yes, you can hear the metro. I will happily trade hearing the metro to be able to walk to the metro. Have heard no neighbor noise. Staff is very helpful. Convenience store across the street is nice in a pinch). One thing to notr, which I really didn't when I looked at the place (I don't notice those kind of things). The cabinets are kinda weird. Long cabinets very low to the counter. Can't put a coffee maker, etc. on a lot of the cabinet space and limited prep space. Likwe the area, restaurants and movie theater but the theater seems to attract a lot of police presence.

I have rented a high-up 2br/2ba apartment facing southward at M@E for 2 years. I am considering leaving at the end of my lease in April 2013 due to job relocation to Crystal City/Arlington, VA. Otherwise, I d certainly stay put at M@E. I am happy to say that the M@E building, staff, and amenities are terrific! The M@E staff is always ready to help and service is done right the first time and typically within 12-24 hours. The building is modern and classy top to bottom. The 4th floor gym is small but first rate equipped! The 12th floor pool is clean and seldom used. The 24th floor tenants community area is spectacular. When I first moved into M@E, I occasionally heard people noise or a fire alarm--some people are juvenile regardless of age and income. Interior noise happens in a large apartment building. Outdoor noise from the nearby I-95/I495 and Metro is a fact of life and a small inconvenience except for tennants on the Metro rail side. Overall, outdoor nighttime noises are typically much quieter than daytime noises and as an old guy I still get my winks. Underground parking is spacious, reasonably priced per month and always available. Guest parking is a skimpy $6 a day. I drive a new truck and sports car. I park at the lowest of 5 parking levels (G2). In the crypt I always have a choice of several large parking spots. Parking spots are wide enough so that I don t have to worry about dings. Huge bicycle storage units are available too. The garage is really secure after business hours. My rent increased by 4% for year two. I predict the same rate bump for year three if I sign a new lease. Building negatives are very few. I appreciate the finer things of life and this building offers the most bang for the buck inside the Loop. I could rent a cheaper apartment but not also enjoy proximity to mass transportation, the King St area, and such nice digs all around.

I've been here one year. I am NOT renewing. Pros: Generally quiet, neighbors decorate their doors for the holidays and stuff. People are generally friendly. Location is great. The coffee in the morning is nice. Close to metro and walking distance to King St. Cons: Weekends get loud quick, and I can always hear my neighbor's TV. Metro gets loud with the windows closed (and I'm not facing it). A lot of fire alarms going off at horrible hours (2-3am) of the morning. The amenities aren't consistent. Yes, they have free wi-fi. It doesn't always work. They will provide postage (if they have it to sell). They will treat you like a major inconvenience if you lock yourself out of the apartment. The biggest reason I would NOT recommend them is that they don't want you around for the 2nd year. They upped my rent significantly, and when I spoke to the management staff, I was told that it was "comparable" to the area. When I showed them that a bigger apartment in Old Town was available at the same price, I was told that this was a nicer area, so the price reflects that. Also, parking is a nightmare. Yes, I'm sure there would be sufficient spots if all vehicles would be able to fit between the lines nicely without banging their doors into the vehicle next to them. Your car will get dinged and dented while parked in their garage.

I have lived at the Meridian at Eisenhower for a little over a year now and have enjoyed every moment of it. The metro is right across the street which is so convenient and makes for a great commute to work every day. Yes, the metro does go right by the building and there is a little noise, but that s what you get when you live in an urban area. After a week or two, you don t hear the metro anymore. I have had some maintenance problems such as bulbs being out and a running toilet, but problems were all solved within a day or two. The staff is extremely nice and goes out of their way to help you. I have locked myself out a couple times and they are extremely pleasant. The staff also gets to know everyone in the building, along with their pets. After looking at several communities within the area, I realized that the Meridian at Eisenhower s prices is competitive to the other communities and have more to offer then the other properties. They are extremely pet friendly. Management holds events so I was able to meet other people in the building, who I have become close friends with now. For getting a lot of foot traffic in this area, it is pretty safe and you need a fob to get into the building and garages. I would recommend the meridian at anyone who is looking to live in a nice place close to the metro.
