The community is beautiful and the people are very nice. The building were also very maintained. My showing agent (Shamicka Neal) showed me the property and was very well informed about everything that I asked. She was also very patient and helped me to understand all the fine little details when it came to renting the property. She even went above and beyond to show me the fitness center and give me information about the pool in the community.

I have lived in this apartment complex for three years now. The only reason i am not postive it will be four years is due to rent increases while being a full time college student. That put to the side I absolutely love living here the staff in the leasing office and the maintenance staff is absolutely amazing. They are very helpful and quick to reply and address any concerns I have. Its a clean community the apartment itself is nice and cozy. And the residents living here are all friendly and respectful. The gym and pool are definitely worth going to. I definitely recommend living in fairfax square.

Great Experience!

This property has beyond passed my inspection. Since moving nothing but a good experience. The staff is very friendly, Alfredo has been very helpful and is very knowledgeable. Great place, worth the price of the apartment.

Okay. Could be better and could offer carpet cleaning. A lot of bug issues constantly . Other tenants have very noisy pets and the apartment flooring is very delicate and creaks as used??????????????????.

The process of getting the rental was easy. Once we moved in we have enjoyed the community. It is a nice mix of people and everyone seems very nice and friendly. We needed a temporary rental (less than a year) and we have been treated very well.

I’ve been trying to find an apartment in Fairfax for awhile and I’ve been having some mixed, mostly unpleasant, experiences with leasing offices. I did a virtual tour with Alfredo and he was so helpful, responsive, and pleasant. He addressed all of the questions and concerns I had and made the whole experience easy and stress-free. I definitely am considering moving to this location.

The best apartment viewing experience.

This property is very well kept and stylish. The apartments are clean and spacious and the office/ business center and gym are great. Our tour with Shamicka was very informative and she was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I was really impressed with the community, the leasing office seemed really busy when we arrived, but someone was there to help us very quickly, we weren't rushed and got all of our questions answered. It felt like we were the agent's sole focus and she was really considering our specific circumstances. We got a really good quote, applied that night, and were approved the next day.

PROS: Apt was clean, move-in ready which were priorities for me. Halls were/are vacuumed M-F. Landscaping is probably nice in the summertime, but it needs upkeep now. Great location. Easy access to schools, typical stores, a variety of eateries in walking distance, several grocery stores (including WalMart, Safeway, Amazon Fresh, culturally-focused), a large and a smaller mall (2-3 mi), gas, I495 (4 mi), etc. The Apt Complex is seated in a mostly residential neighborhood but is more semi-residential. Upscale. CONS: Initial verbal communication about potentially renting here was, a bit misleading, and incomplete from the property management leader(s). If this is the first time you are renting a home, have someone you trust with you who has experience with renting (e.g., phone calls, in-person). Have a list of questions about every aspect of the potential rental, require that they answer all the questions that you ask (with no evasiveness), and keep a record of all written and verbal communications. The property has yet to enforce poop-pickup or to provide such a service. So, if you are bringing a pooch, set an example and kindly clean up behind your fur baby so that the rest of the tenants can try to enjoy the lawn.

My friend, and I had a great experience, at. the Van-mètre apartments. The associate that helped us was so kind understanding and she listened to all of our concerns. She also highlighted some of the advantages of getting the apartment and how to go about it. She had a very inviting aura.

can't say enough wonderful things about this community.The staff here is very welcoming and always ready to help with any questions or problems I might be having. Alfredo is honestly the best. I feel secure. There are a few not so awesome things, as with any location. One is that I can hear my upstairs neighbors moving around quite loudly, but that's apartment life for you!

Happy Renter

Quiet friendly community mainly young adults some who go to George Mason. Super diverse as well. The grounds are well kept even the dog park that they have. The staff there is super friendly and responsive Shamicka and Alfonso were amazing and made the move out process as simple and smooth as possible

Mice behind the oven (heard the sniffing sound more than once). Maintenance can be disappointing (not every time but unfortunately we had our dryer broken for 2 whole weeks and it's us who found out what's actually wrong). Also there's a staff at leasing office being mean to my roommate. She forgot to ask for my roommate's vehicle title paper in the first place but threatened that if she didn't get to see it within two days, the car will be towed away. Wow!
