The Fairfax Square Apartments are very clean, safe, and quiet. The common hallways, stairs, and exterior doors of each building are clean everyday. The non-emergency maintenance takes less than 24 hours to complete. The maintenance workers are fast, efficient, courtesy. Excellent community to live!

Friendly Staff

Staff is incredibly friendly and always available- the leasing office is a welcoming place and I can tell they care about their residents! Great location and very beautiful grounds. We plan on staying for a while!

Great place to stay with multiple amenities and quick service. Community is clean and beautiful. Any maintenance requests are handled well. One problem is that washrooms does not have ventilation, rest all is good.

Spacious apartments nice club house

This is a nice property with spacious apartments. The club house is very convenient with a gym and office space. We had our tour with Shamicka and she was so nice, she showed us around and explained everything very well. Thank you

People in our block are friendly and very helpful. Also I am close to shops, the Malls, hospitals and restaurants. My section is clean and paper is picked up everyday. We are also very glose to our place of worship.

So far so good. It's in a nice area with plenty to do locally. Parking is usually plentiful and there's lots of open areas in the community. It has a gym included with rent that is pretty nice for its size.

Our experience went from excitement to severely disappointed in a matter of 3 minutes? when we found this property we had all our checklist fulfilled with the proximity to everything to the beautiful trees, spaced out buildings, and nicely landscaped property. We saw the model which was very nice and choosing the "upgraded" apartment home we saw was available when we were to move in? to the actuality of once excitedly signed our lease then got the keys and basically sprinted to our unit which upon opening the door a huge cockroach was on the main wall like a welcoming committee and as we looking at all the appliances they all seem and look warn and a minimum of 20 years old which I confirmed by looking up the model numbers they are all old. Next overtime finding the carpet nails poking up at various places thru the unit to the bathroom floor being linoleum from who knows how long ago that was cracked and sticking up that was just sprayed over with what seems the same sealant they spray the tub with that seems to have been sprayed on the sinks as well? Then the hearing the neighbors thru the walls especially the bathroom and the smells in the building hallway. The building cleaning girls keep the buildings very clean but they can't do anything about the kitchens being by the front doors so you smell everything being cooked. We have been on a countdown since the week we moved in to get out of here. It's a beautiful complex but after repeated requested and reporting the condition of the appliances that we have to limp thru with because as it was supposed to be upgraded they turn a deaf ear about your concerns about living conditions. They all live here and I'm sure their units are not in shambles as they have use live in for as much as we pay. I had to beg basically to get the washer and dryer because of my skin sensitivity I had to get two rashes before they would replace the washer and dryer which is all I had the energy to fight them for before we gave up and just started the countdown to lease end aka freedom day? So my advice just be careful and make them show you your unit before signing your lease.

Great community and good neighborhood. Conveniently located close to anywhere and anything you want. The area with big trees and greeneries are good for relaxing atmosphere. Quiet enough to have a peaceful time at home.

Great Tour!

Toured today (9/29/23) with Shamicka. She was very informative and cheerful. I enjoyed the complex and learned about several options that set the company apart from competition. Van Metre is definitely a top contender as my family looks to move into a larger space.

Really nice maintenance experience with Michael

Had a fridge go out in my apartment recently. Had a really nice maintenance man name Michael who showed up and went above and beyond. He replaced the fridge and then saw bags of trash I had from emptying out the contents of my old fridge, and he offered to carry it to the dumpster for me. I think Fairfax Square ought to recognize employees like this who go above and beyond, as it speaks well for Van Metre and their company.

Fairfax Square is an amazing community which has a peaceful environment and a very good maintenance service. I have been here for more than a year now and I don't find any issues with anything. It is located at the heart of Fairfax as well.
