It's a good starter apartment. With the rent increase on the website I'm unsure if the an un-updated apartment is worth the price though. Overall the community is relatively quiet and safe which is great. Maintenance is quick and tends to be reliable.

Its fine. The place works as intended and its not uncomfortable to live here. Bit pricey tho, the parking fee is only a one time cost. The amenities are nice. Trash is hard to get to from some spots..

Close to shopping centers. Close to public transportation. Nice place to live. The management and maintenance team always are helpful. I had an emergency and Cornell was ready to help even though it was late at night.

Repair fixed

I recently had a small maintenance issue with a missing door stopper in my apartment, and I was very impressed by how quickly and professionally the team handled it. After reporting the issue to the leasing office, they promptly scheduled a service visit and sent Jorge Vargas to take care of the repair. Jorge arrived right on time, was friendly and professional, and fixed the problem in no time—literally within two minutes! It’s always nice to see maintenance staff who not only know what they’re doing but also take pride in their work. Jorge made sure everything was properly installed and even checked that the door was closing smoothly before leaving. The whole experience was fast, efficient, and hassle-free. I really appreciate how responsive the Fairfax Square Apartments management and maintenance team are. It shows that they care about keeping residents comfortable and satisfied. If you’re looking for a place where maintenance requests are taken seriously and resolved promptly, Fairfax Square is a great choice. I have lived at Fairfax Square for almost 5 years now. It is my first apartment and I have thoroughly enjoyed. The buildings are a bit older and could use some updating but I'd say the price is good for the area. They do a great job with upkeep around the community and maintenance has always been pretty quick about fixing problems. The only complaint I have is that we struggled with a broken water heater for months and it took some convincing to get them to fix it. Other than that I have thoroughly enjoyed living here and happy to call it home.

Edgar and Carlos came to my apartment and replace the washer/dryer machine. Both worked hard and did a very good job. Inmar Garcia an excellent maintenance guy. He fixed extra issues In my apartment at last minute. Excellent maintenance team.

Very good location, very close to my job, have all I need close by, grocery, shopping, food, good restaurants, Library, Movie, Metro. Staff are very nice and cordial, Neighbors usually nice. Some student type residents can be loud and annoying

It's been a positive experience, for the most part. Residents parking frustrating at times. I got home once at 11pm and there was NO available space in 9902. I had to part up from the Leasing office and walk to 9902. It's worrisome if I have to get home between 8pm and later

Overall a great place to live if you work in the area. There's a lot of great shopping places near by. It's fairly a quiet place and people keep to themselves for the most part. Depending on the time of year and how many people are currently living in your building, the parking lot does get full if you work late nights but you just have to park farther and I don't mind the walk. There's always parking but you will have to walk.
