So far so good. I was a bit disappointed that we had a lot of maintenance requests to be filled in the first couple weeks. We are also not fully convinced we received a fob upon move in but we have one now. I really like the gym and clubhouse and I love that you can just walk over to the little pond nearby. It'd be nice if the trash and recycling area was a bit nicer the compactor doesn't work and the bins overflow a lot. Also would be nice if people kept up with stocking sanitizer, wipes, and cups in the gym just so we can keep things clean and get a drink.

This is a wonderful property, in a great neighborhood. The grounds are impeccably maintained, with beautiful landscaping including trees & flowers. The apartments are quality, well-built and in good working order. I've rarely had maintenance issues but when they occur, management takes care of them swiftly & correctly.

Not the best maintained community. Could upgrade the maintenance and installations. Also the noise factor could be upgraded. Faster response and upgrade to maintenance is also desirable. Follow through with work orders.

The price of the unit was too expensive for the quality received. You only receive one parking spot per unit. Extremely difficult to find parking for a second vehicle. Had issues with neighbors parking in my assigned park space. My unit is a townhouse but felt like an apartment, walls are very thin!!! Had issues with some of the maintenance staff not being professional. Will not be renewing my lease.

I really like it here?the grounds are very pretty and well kept, it's very safe, the apartments are so lovely and there are a lot of amenities that other places don't have (the pool, the gym). I have been here for 10 years and have not had any problems.

the most frustrating experience out of 3 communities I lived so far. Think of the general maintenance request if the emergency request is not taken care of since 3 days and we are living without heat in cold snow days.

Very clean and no pests. Maintainence requests are handled promptly. Major onsite repairs are communicated to tenants quickly by email and/or notes under the door mat. Staff is courtious, professional, and friendly.

I really enjoyed my tour at Van Metre. The team here is amazing! Amy was very helpful and inviting. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to move! The office was clean, and the hospitality was great.

It's been great so far. We really enjoy the amenities and location. Perhaps there is a lot of lawn mowing for the kind of area - we prefer a more environmentally friendly landscaping process. But overall it is nice to be here

Had my doubts when we first moved in, but it turned out to be a great environment. The apartment is quiet and tidy. The rooms are spacious and I love the fact that each apartment comes with a washer and dryer.

So far is been great at this location. No mice or cockroaches of any kind. There's always parking in front of the apartment. Place is quiet and clean, Love the pool, and Gym which are in front of me. Really recommend this place.

Overall I have enjoyed my stay with Fairfax square. Though, I have run into a few issues in fixing a persistent plumbing problem that has finally be resolved. The neighborhood overall is very pleasant. I do wish it was a little less expensive though.

Well maintained. However, apartments need to be quality checked for issues before new tenants move in. A lot of the issues I have had since moving in are very obvious if a proper check was completed. Also, the apartments need better soundproofing. The noise from the apartments above is very loud and annoying at times. Especially at night. Lastly, the appliances need to be updated. They are very old and outdated. Especially the dishwasher.

Work orders have not been successful. The first was for crickets, and the crickets never went away, and the maintenance staff who came gave us no information about what they did. For our kitchen sink, it took the maintenance over 5 visits before they finally called a plumber. They would come with no tools, run the garbage disposal, and then leave again, until we had to call them again for the same issue.

So far, so good. I haven't had any complaints as of yet. Whenever there is a maintenance issues, which is rare, they are quick to respond which is a big plus. I'm, literally, close to everything I need to be close to as well.

Apartments are not clean or fixed before moving in, appliances dont work properly, bugs and roaches in the units, visitor parking not marked no signs on where to park, trash is too far or not easily accessible, etc etc

Good area. Old buildings. A bit overpriced. Younger crowd who can be loud at night. Leasing office can be slow to respond at times. Leasing office does not always answer phone calls or emails. Plenty of places to walk.

Was not bad but i would not recommend this to someone else because the facilities are quite not up to date there are some things a resident cannot use for some reason of malfunctioning. Nice community and neighbors and office. But it is just the facilities that matter

Quiet and convenient location Good all around staff with quick maintenance repairs Lots of flowers and shade. Still not sure of the pricing of units when lease is up they give you absolutely no incentives as a current renter to stay in the complex and continue to rent

When I first met the office manager, I was welcomed and he explained everything well with friendly tone. I liked how the office was organized and my apartment being neat and comfortable. Definitely recommend.
