The apartments and facilities are clean and well kept. We enjoy living here. We never have issues finding parking in front of our building and have not had any issues with pests. The maintenance staff is always on top of requests which are typically completed within 24 hours and if I am home when they come to complete a request, they are always pleasant and friendly. The office staff is typically very helpful when you go to see them, the only frustrating thing is they implement random new policies via email. Nothing too crazy, but since moving in, they moved from plastic visitor passes we could keep to paper passes written in the office. I often have friends over last minute in the evening, so this new policy has made it challenging. Also sometime after we moved in they implemented a "pool pass" policy that you need to wear a wrist band and only 1 guest per resident with additional guests costing $5 each. Really love to have pool parties with friends, so this was annoying, especially since they did not clearly communicate the change, I just happened to find out from a friend that lives here.

Fairfax Square is a nice community located in Fairfax, near Woodson High school. The management and facilities team have thus far been excellent - prompt and very professional. Our particular unit is a cozy 1-bedroom with a washer and dryer. The unit has been pretty well maintained. One con is that there is no bathroom fan/vent. Parking is readily available.

It has been fine; so far no particular issues. Maintenance has been quick and thorough. Before moving into the apartment, the staff were very helpful in getting everything ready and squared away so that the move-in process was easy.

The model unit we were shown on the tour was completely different from what we moved into. All appliances are old, dryer doesn't even work and is a fire hazard despite us reporting it for two weeks to 4 different people. We were officially duped.

I loved living @ Fairfax Square Apts for 11 years. It was my home. The staff is wonderful, professional, helpful and kind. The maintenance staff is excellent; fine service. The grounds are beautiful and kept tidy, neat and clean. I always felt safe and secure. I also enjoyed the peace and quiet.

The Fairfax area is a great place to live. The location is very efficient to local stores and the highway. I do want to extend my appreciation for the staff. Amy who greets you at the door is very pleasant and a sweet girl. My interaction with the staff was pleasant. I was also greeted by Erin, Hallie and Melony who stated she was fairly new. Everyone was nice and cheerful. I have to say it is very fortunate to be apartment shopping and leave an establishment feeling good about the experience. I would recommend anyone to take a chance on the property because it was a pleasant experience.

Been here for 3+ years, no plans on leaving any time soon. Specifically, I have had great communication with Speedy in Maintenance (always provides very fast service), Amy (known for a few years and always assists with a smile) and Melony (new but has been extremely helpful every time I ask for help. Thanks for all you guys do.

I have only been here for two weeks, and I already feel at home. My roommates and I just love the location. It is very close to our work and school. The facilities are enjoyable and the staff was very welcoming and always available to answer our question.

Melony and Malachi were very professional and knowledgable about the community and I cant wait to live here. I would recommend this property to everyone it is beautiful. The apartments are amazing and large.

Excellent and helpful staff who work to meet your needs from first contact thru move-in. Very convenient location. Maintenance responds quickly to even minor issues. Parking adequate for the size of the apartment complex.

Love my apartment and have been nothing but impressed with Van Metre. The office staff absolutely rocks as well. I have been very pleased with the property, staff, maintenance, and cleaning, I would recommend Fairfax Square to my friends.

Theres no space at parking lot when I get home from work. Sometimes noise level gets too high from the floor above. Other than that everything is good to include the appearance of the apartments and the pool operations.

It's pretty good. Move-in was smooth, and the helpdesk in the main office was very helpful and helped us with any problems we were facing. There was enough space for all of our roommates to move in at the same time. I recommend for any Mason Students looking for an apartment to consider this place.

The community in my building is friendly and relatively quiet. I am very happy with my apartment and have not had issues with pests or needed repairs. The office staff has been helpful every time I needed something from them, and I really like the amenities such as the pool and the fitness center.

its a very quiet secure community, my kids can take a walk freely in the neighborhood, the price of the town home is fair and the public transportation is right around the corner and there is a daycare steps away

I would like to Thank Hallie and Jason for taking the time to assist me this morning. I have never had a negative experience with the team, and I have lived in the community for the last two years after moving here from AZ. They really listen and value their tenants. I think it is essential to have a residential team that you can reach out to and they'll help you even if it is outside of their job duties. Not only are they respectful of myself, but also the times my children have been locked and walked to the office for help, they greeted with smiles and open arms. There is no one the team that I would complain about. Keep up the excellent work, and thank you for being consistent and kind.

People in the leasing office were very nice and get the work done fast. Also, we asked bunch of questions but the person who helped us (Erine) answered all the questions in respectful way. We did not had any problems of moving to this place.

It's been mostly good. Maintenance is very fast and helpful the majority of the time. The leasing office is also very understanding and accommodating. A lot of people end up complaining about things that you can't really help in an apartment. I've been very satisfied with my stay at Van Metre and my group is considering renewing our lease if life circumstances work out.

I love it here. The staff and maintenance team are always on point. The area is quiet and the property is very clean. I love my washer and driver, balcony, and all the sunlight in my room. I would recommend this property to my family and friends.

Living here was a pretty good decision for me. However, sometimes noise problems can cause inconvenience. I think this apartment is not a bad choice if you find a proper rent. You can also expect friendly staff and good maintenance service.

The community has been great for me, and everyone I've spoken with at the main office has been great as well. At various points in the leasing process I worked with Ashley, Suzanne, Jonathan, Erin, and David, and all were fantastic. Definitely would recommend Fairfax Square.

I would never live here again and I would not recommend it to anyone. What I pay in rent is ridiculous for what the apartment is. The kitchen needs to be renovated and maintenance requests take forever. The walls are very thin and our neighbors are loud. Not renewing my lease.

looks great from the outside But there has been nothing done to the interior of the apts. They are antiquated and need new syleish restorations also full of roaches. I don't cook ANY more. everything is baked. Not good re
