Amy the front desk receptionist was nice and assisted me with everything on getting my new parking sticker. Neighbors are nice and never issues. Close to everything in driving and walking distance. Only issue we have is that you can hear your neighbor walking due to the floors creeking.

Excellent in every way. From the property management, maintenance and neighbors. I have been satisfied in every way! I love that the gym is open 24/7 and therefore I don't have to pay for a gym membership. The community is beautiful and I would highly recommend this complex to anyone looking to move into a community in the Northern Virginia area. They make the renting experience super simple and appeasing as a customer.

The staff were very helpful during the whole moving process! My apartment was clean upon move in. There is plenty of parking and the neighborhood is nice and quiet! They are very pet friendly, which is a plus for me!

I love how close the community is to GMU! The staff and maintenance workers take their job of taking care of my concerns or needs as they arise very seriously. Erin was so helpful with my moving process and answered any question that I had. She made me a priority and still does! Since my move into Fairfax Square Apartments, I have been continuously pleased with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff and property management. Again, Erin is amazing!! The community is outstanding and it is super convenient to my needs in regards to shopping and my job. This place is perfect for me!

From day 1 the leasing consultant I was assigned was quite unhelpful and seemed to lack any sense of thoroughness. The day I moved in I was given the wrong key to the apartment and the wrong parking spot, which almost resulted in my car being towed by the actual owners of the parking spot. From there, I've asked a variety of questions about billing and setup where I got lackadaisical answers or no response. This has been my biggest frustration with the complex.

I would not recommend this complex to anyone. We are in the legal and government sector and were horrified with the lack of service and absolute shoddy maintenance work. We had no warm running water for over 2 weeks, and then found mold in our apt. I am ashamed of this complex for touting their commitment to service when they could truly care less about their residents, unless they are paying rent. We've made journals of when we've contacted them, left voicemails and entered maintenance requests, and it's been eye-opening to see the lack of respect we've been given. We know multiple residents who have left and we will be doing the same.

I greatly enjoy the community, and the staff has always quickly fixed any issues. The new parking policy will also help. Finding a parking spot in the evening has become very difficult. That has been my only issue

So far so good. Response from staff about issues are fixed within a week. Need selected parking spots even if an additional fee is charged. Bit annoying coming home (especially) in the evenings and have to search for a parking spot. This is home! Coming home is easy!!! Tell the community something improving about parking!!!!

I have lived here for almost 3.5 years and pretty satisfied with the apartment compared to the price. Especially in terms of location, safety, and service, I am highly satisfied. It is a bit old apartment (even after the renovation) having problems in facilities sometimes, but you can easily access the maintenance service and the leasing office to solve the problems. I feel that people working here are always wiling to help me. I specially thank to Amy who works in the reception desk for her kindness and helps whenever I visit the office. Public transportation is good near the area and there are some good restaurants/gloceries near the apartment. I also feel safe to live here - this is the big thing. If you are a GMU student, this place will be one of best options.

There is not enough parking and it is a long walk to dispose of garbage bags in the dumpster. The appliances are old and they break down a lot. The people who work in the leasing office are rude with a few exceptions.

This place is a joke. It's such a mess. The quality of service has massively decreased. The community used to look nice but they have lost pride in the landscaping and upkeep. It's always a fight with management.

I have only had a few instances at the community and that is with the neighbors upstairs and the noise level, and not as much available parking after 8 pm during the week or weekends. I have never seen Dominion Towing taking any cars away!

When I moved in the apartment was very nice and I like how close the community is to George mason. Avaija and David were really helpful with my moving process. The maintenance team is very nice as well, any issues inside of the apartment were addressed immediately.

I like this complex. But the stuff has not responsibility. There is no transparency regarding rental fee and leasing office increase the fee whatever they want . Last year leasing office increase my rental fee from 1560 to 1860 without any negotiation, before renewal the stuff told me impossible increase so much and they did. Leasing office was lying. It was never happened before new manager came and the old manager was so helpful transparency kind. I hope office stuff and manager being more responsible transparency and honest

The staff at Fairfax Square are very helpful. For instance, when we were away on vacation and a package came for us that had to be signed for, the office staff, including Ms. Amy Cookson, signed for it and held it until we returned. Then, when we could not make it over to the office during their weektime hours to collect the package due to our work schedules, they very nicely got permission from us to bring the package over and placed it into our apartment while we were at work. The complex is right near a quiet neighbor that is wooded and nice to walk in, as well as right near a small pond and walking park in the woods. Because there are so many mature trees around, we have a good amount of shade to help relieve us of the summer heat. There is a business center with computers and a printer that has come in handy many times for printing off items last minute. One of the few imperfections would be that the central garbage collection area routinely overflows on the weekends when it seems everyone brings their trash all at once, so maybe if the complex could have the garbage collection area emptied each Thursday or Friday, then it would not overflow each weekend. The overflowing garbage gets into the recycling bins, so I do not trust that the recycling from this complex gets recycled due to the garbage in it, it probably gets thrown away with the trash, so I take my recycling off site to recycling at the local recycling center. Our only other problem has been that because we are on the bottom floor and people around us in the complex misuse their garbage disposals, the water drainage system can get backed up and our kitchen sink backs up maybe once every other or every third month. However, the maintenance staff are very quick and friendly to come assist us when this happens. Thanks very much to Fairfax Square's lovely staff for all that they do to make this a great place to live!

It has been a pleasant experience thus far. Other than noisy neighbors every once in a while, I don't have any major complaints. We live on the lower level, so there's typical pest problems but nothing major, and there's never an issue putting in a work request for pest control. Maintence always comes to fix issues in a timely fashion and they are all friendly and courteous. The neighborhood is always kept clean. The area is safe and convenient to stores and our favorite restaurants. Parking is the only major issue I've had. If I arrive after 9pm, I can expect to park far away from my building.

Although the location of Fairfax Square Apartments is wonderful, the maintenance service received is not nearly as great. The apartment complexes have an out-of-control bug problem which FFS will not help fix. In addition, I have already needed a new microwave and my other appliances are not running correctly either. The fridge has had a terrible smell since I moved in that taints the taste of all its contents. I would never have moved in and paid this steep price if I had known what I was getting myself into.

It is a nice apartment to live in. The enivronment is great with lots of trees. Parking space is big enough with lots of spots. Sometimes they have some community events. Avaija, Suz, David, Amy and other staffs in leasing office have been very kind and enthusiastic when we have problems about housing and maintainable.
