I am a current resident at Fairfax Square. Honestly, I am not happy over here at all. There is always something breaking in the apartment. Kitchen sinks leaks so often, pests everywhere. Maintenance crew is useless!!!! They come long after the issue is reported and the just look around and do nothing and leave without fixing anything!!! My husband had to fixed the kitchen sink himself. All the appliances are so old, dishwasher smelled from the beginning. The lamp was broke in the kitchen when we moved in and had to wait 2 weeks for someone to come to fix it. My bathroom smells like ashtray (nobody in my family smokes) and I hear everything that my neighbor is talking like they are in my apartment. Apartment door lock has not been working and nobody did anything about it. Bathroom and bedroom doors get stuck so often. I have never experienced these many problems anywhere else!!!! Now I am stuck here for 13 months! It is not worth living here especially for this price. The apartment is so overly priced, I did not realize until I moved in how much more I am paying for the apartment condition. Stay away from this complex. You will find much better options anywhere else.

Only been here a week but, already love the community. I had read lots of reviews about bugs and noise and I've had no issues with that at all this far. All the neighbors we've meet so far are very friendly. It's great to feel like your tucked away but you're only 5 minutes away from huge shopping centers

i love living here for years. My kids love the schools. Amy at the office is very great and very helpful. She always helped me every time i stop at office, she always smiling and very nice. i give her 100%. Everyone here is nice. I like everything about the apartment. The Leasing Office is incredibly kind and the initial renting process was very easy. Most of the maintenance staff is great as well, and maintenance requests are usually handled promptly and correctly. The location is excellent, especially if you attend George Mason. Some things to consider: The parking situation is horrible - the spaces are always very limited and no one is ever patrolling the lots for cars without parking passes. The "24-hour" business/fitness center is often inaccessible. The walls are FAR thinner than most apartment complexes, and the quality of the apartment should be greater for what you end up paying. There are nicer places for less money, but you will sacrifice such a convenient location. Overall, living here has been a good experience.

This is my third apartment at Fairfax square since 2012. It is a community that is in the heart of Fairfax, extremely convenient to shopping, the beltway, 1-66, 1-95. I have had 2 one bedroom apartments and one 3 bedroom apartment and all service from maintenance has been friendly, quickly tended to and all the maintenance men are courteous, customer service oriented and very nice. Even when you are out walking your dog, they smile and wave at you and say hello!! I would recommend the complex to all my friends. The office people are very nice and even remember your name.

The apartment complex is very nice and quiet. Clean and the maintenance are always willing to help you. The people at the office are courteous and also helpful. I love that they have a playground for our dog.

Ententrance is very smalley needs to be cleaned..needs aired out. When entered the hole way smalls bad. The kitchen was not totally cleaned. I had to clean up all the closets in the kitchen. Some of the light connectors were also needed to be cleaned

Thin ceiling/floors - can hear neighbors directly on top running n jumping around without any care for units below. Neighbors on the top floor flicks ciggarette butts out of their balcony. Parking is always full - cars without stickers occupying the nearer spaces really annoy me as a rightful resident that had to walk far. Irresponsible pet owners do not clean up after their pets.

Place is great except for the 7am wake up call of kids and dogs romping above us. It's hard enough to find parking, dont charge for guest passes. Stop scamming people of micro fees for using a credit card on the apartments website.

Clean area and safe community surrounding the complex. It is dog friendly and they provide doggie bags for quick clean up, most of the time. The pool area is clean and enjoyable, along with the the gym area.

i love this community the staff is helpful. Kyle is always there to when you need him and has been very helpful. I would recommend living here. that grounds are kept up and beautiful. the apartments are small but fairfax is a perfect location.

It was def a set back from owning my own place. I had to deal with noise all times of the night, smokers, false sense of security due to missing items from my apt. You have to stay home a day and just be quiet to see them enter your apt without an appt. Office staff cudn explain why this happens and falsely assures you it wouldnt happen again after the 5th time.

I've been very happy here at Fairfax Square. The apartments are very well kept as are the surrounding grounds. It is in a prime location in Fairfax City but also maintains a peace and quiet that is very appealing. The office and facilities staff are absolutely wonderful and were a tremendous help when I was recovering from surgery and needed extra assistance.

Fairfax Square has been an accommodating and friendly community to join. My apartment is reasonably priced and the amenities are generous. Any minor issue I've encountered has been met with professionalism and within reasonable timelines. It is a welcoming community and I would recommend it to the budget conscious consumer.

If safety is your major concern, this is the place. Great community and wonderful staff. Specially Amy Cookson who works at the front desk, she will greet you with a lovely smile the moment you walk in. Suzanne is awesome as well. Great maintenance crew specially mr speedy, mr Lopez, Juan, and young Mikey. It's a very old apartment complex, people need to realize that heir will be a constant maintenance issue but I assure you they respond fast, they get everything fix in no time. They are very friendly with your four legged friends, great clubhouse and when summer comes, they have an awesome pool for you and your family to relax. Love it here!!!!!!!

The parking enforcement here is atrocious. Parking is bad enough, but if policies are not enforced and people are allowed to park that should not be allowed and there is no consequence, it makes the problem so much worse.

Everyone is very nice and the staff is very helpful. It is a good location and a short drive to George Mason University. It can be hard to find parking at times which is an inconvenience but you can usually find a spot it just might not be close to your apartment

I had a great experience with the customer service in the leasing office. Some of the standout employees are David, Amy, Jessie, and Kyle. Anytime that I came in they were always greeting me with a smile and openness to any issues or concerns that I had at the time. Everything was solved in the fastest manor possible and made my living situation comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable. I highly recommend going to them if there are any questions/concerns and I am very pleased with my experience!

I have lived here for about 5 years. The best thing about this community is being very close to George Mason University. It's clean and very safe. The staff is pretty helpful.The front desk receptionist Amy, she is very cool and helpful.
