Good value for the space. Staff are quick to resolve issues too. Only problem is the Cockroaches appear every now and then. It is about 10 mins from reston metro and theres a shuttle everyday that takes you there. Also the herndon metro is openning soon which is 5 mins away

It was great. Jorge was very helpful and kept in contact with me throughout the month-long process. He answered any questions I had and made the process seamless. I have had some issues with the washer and the toilet since I have moved in.

My lease was for 10 months, and I really liked this place and the staff here (front office and maintenance crew). I moved out this month for staying with my coworker, and I already miss this place. Front office (Diana, Erica, Goerge) are very helpful, nice, and professional. The maintenance crew (Jimmy, Jose, and another who I don't remember his name) are very responsive, helpful and they explained thoroughly the work they were doing. There was no electricity down during the recent storms, the clean crew does good job every day, the neighborhood is quiet, the view/park/playground is just right outside. For me, the apartment staff are making this place a very good experience place to stay, besides all the amenities and the park view. Tai N.

Overall (tl/dr): Fairly cheap rent for the area, but you get what you pay for as the saying goes. Noise: Don't let the apartment website description fool you. There might be a thin slab of concrete between floors, but the walls are paper thin. You will hear EVERYTHING from your neighbors' apartments. And they will hear you. For some inane reason, the main entry door of each apartment has industrial strength, spring-loaded closing mechanisms that cause the doors to slam if they are not caught in time. And they slam hard. The stairwells act as echo chambers and carry sounds from floor to floor, through your front door, and right into your living room. You will hear your neighbors' conversations, music, TV, s3x, piano, dogs... you name it, you'll hear it. And if you complain about any excessive noise, you'll get a condescending pat on the head and nothing will change. Grounds: They do a pretty good job keeping the grounds clean and maintained. They could do a bit better with leaf collection during the fall. Sometimes the building entryways can get nearly completely covered by fallen leaves to the point where you can't see the step(s). They are usually on point when it comes to treating and cleaning the walkways and entryways during snow events. Safety: Pretty average in this category. Some months ago, however, they installed these ridiculously bright stadium flood lights on the outside of some of the buildings. The place now looks like a prison yard at night. And the install was done so poorly that the wiring is exposed along the wall where the lights were mounted. You can't make this stuff up. Perhaps some tasteful street lamps along the sidewalks would have been better, but... well, I don't know what they were thinking, to be honest. You have to see it for yourself to appreciate the sheer awfulness of it. Neighborhood: Quick access to Fairfax County Pkwy and the Dulles toll road. Reston Town Center is nearby. Walking distance if you're feeling spry. Maintenance: These guys are usually reliable and respond in about a day, but can be messy. Staff: The staff can be hit or miss. You'll be lucky to get eye contact and a smile when you walk in the leasing office. Lately they seem to act like they're so busy and are doing you a favor if they decide to help you. Although I think there is a new person there that I spoke with on the phone recently and she seems genuinely happy to be there helping residents. Like I said, hit or miss. Good luck with your apartment search!

Nice location. Fast maintanance requests. Affordable renting. Only thing I don't like in my home is the ciggarate smell. It may be because of previous renters may be smoking inside a home and it is still there a little bit.

Kitchens not vented out. No enforcement of quiet hours. Constant lies from management and lease office staff. Frequent entry to your apartment to perform semiannual preventative maintenance checks, pesticide visits, bank adjuster review, replace balcony railings, replace all electrical outlets/switches and panel, repairs from electrical work, etc. And don't expect the 48 hour notice for non-emergecy repairs. For Electrical work that required moving furniture, a 12 hour notice was given. You can expect substantial rent increase each year.

The apartments themselves are luxuriously spacious, although my one-bedroom apartment kitchen is small and without much cabinet space. The maintenance team is very professional and prompt. Parking is adequate. Appliances work fine. My complaint is the noise. You can hear practically everything. The community website advertises that the construction of the buildings "eliminates" noise. Nothing could be further from the truth. There are kids in my building that cry and wail *all* the time. I can hear it loud and clear in my living room, two floors up, stretching even to midnight sometimes. I can hear voices and TV from downstairs, and routine thumping/banging on something from the neighbors next door. People constantly let their front doors slam shut and you can hear everything going on in the stairwell. Quiet hours are supposedly from 8 am to 8 pm, but if you lodge a complaint about noise that is occurring after the leasing office business hours, you're told to contact the police and that nothing can be done until the police file a report and notify the complex. Pretty much everything is great except for the tremendous noise. I'm child-free by choice, but I have to deal constantly with other people's young kids' noise, which can drive my stress through the roof.

Rents are little on the higher side given the apartments age. Frequent maintenance is needed as apartment units are not renovated. Office staff is courteous. Maintenance service is excellent. Location is excellent given everything you need is at walking distance.

Overall experience at this community is good, except the responsiveness of the office staff, after you move in.You need to follow up through personal call or sometimes walkin-in to office to get your work done, do not expect to a reply on email.
