The community is wonderful. Lots of trees,great pool and friendly staff. I love the closet space and the way thecapartnent flows. Very peaceful and I feel very save. I enjoyed the pool a couple of times and it was nice and clean. I will enjoy living here for a long time. Thank you.

    I'm just moving into Brittany Commons as of the end of last month and so far, it's been a pleasant experience. Tammy was great at giving me a tour before I made up my mind to choose this location and was very respectful of my time during my lunch break. There seems to be a healthy rapport between staff and I was always greeted with a smile each time I needed to stop into the office. My apartment was clean at move in and I'm SUPER excited about this RentCafe app for convenience in paying my rent online!

      So far it has been great. I love the amentaties they offer and the units are nice. I don't car for some of the people leaving dog poop around but the complex offers a lot for dog owners. This place has been a good start and I hope the price stays around the same.

        The exterior of the buildings and community are very nice! The staff is great, and they are willing to work with you so that you are completely satisfied. The amenities are amazing, it's a safe development, and couldn't be located in a better spot! Absolutely the best place to live! I strongly recommend you move in here if you are new to the area.

          If you are a potential renter, please move beyond Brittany Commons. The staff is not very responsive to issues. Their record keeping is shady at best. We filled out all paperwork and an apartment was reserved but two days before we were scheduled to move we were told our apartment had been rented to someone else by accident. (We even had Dominion and Comcast ready to install/turn on and that was a hassle to try to get changed over at last minute). Maintenance is terrible when it comes to timely responses to issues. Our heat wasn't working properly and they told us to use the gas fireplace instead which is great for the living room but not the bedrooms. Oh and whatever you do, don't try to move out without taking pictures of everything. Received a call from a collection agency three months after move out date to say we owe 1200.00 in damages. That's nice...no civil action, no due process, no going through courts. Let's just charge the tenant damages that actually exceed one month's rent without telling them and let the collection agency do all the heavy lifting. When Ashley was confronted and asked for proof of said damages there was nothing. No pictures, no proof of expenses incurred. Just some scribble for paint, carpet and blinds. I could have burned down the apartment and incurred less than 1200.00 in damages. Stay away at all costs.

            Needs assigned parking, ceiling wall thin. Residents are smoking in the corridor and putting out cigarette buts in from of my apartment, have to walk thru clouds of second hand smoke to get into my apartment.

              Moving into the Brittany Commons community has been great! Great atmosphere with a nice clean environment! I'm highly recommending BCA to a friend who wants to move into the area!! Love how everything is close by and that the 95 exit is close by as well!

                Well intentioned staff, but these are not luxury apartment homes. I pay more in heating and cooling in this 1100sq ft apt than I do in a 2900 sqft home. Staff's hands tied, would not recommend. The fact that you must write at least 200 words, never should be!!!

                    I think the complex is very expensive, but I felt safe. They nickel and dime you on everything! Read the instructions on move out! Also they don't replace carpet for 5 years which is nasty if you are the 5th tenent. Overall it wasn't awful but I would have probably looked elsewhere if I wasn't in desperate need like I was.

                        I have lived in two different apartments in this community. They apartments are well maintained. There is lots of parking, including visitor spaces. The leasing office and maintenance staff are friendly and show genuine interest in helping you. My only two concerns are that you are only able to get Comcast to service your cable/wifi needs and the compactor gets full too quickly, so at times there is trash waiting outside of the compactor putting a slight damper on the aesthetic of the community. Overall, I feel safe and secure around here. It is also clean. Good deal!

                          nice quiet community, outdated smoke alarms that need replacing, they will not update your apartment unless you pay for it, they will increase your rent every year, if you move in, and you can afford it, move into new updated apt., otherwise you will have perpetual maitennace due to old age of appliances, doors, etc. Carpet is low quality.

                                  Overall, quiet neighborhood. My neighbors upstairs walk so hard We can't get a good night sleep, because they have a child, so every time they get up and use the restroom, get the baby cause she is crying, we're up. 11:30 pm, 12:30am, 3:30 am and 6:30 am come on have some respect not to walk so damn hard please. don't need alarm clock that's for sure! But we understand...but it's annoying.

                                    We are happy to be here, the staff is great and the complex is awesome. They have special events year around, pools is nice in the summer. There is a transit bus that serves the area too. Recommended place for those who are looking to live in a nice place.

                                      I had a few small issues upon moving in. I contacted the main office and they put in a work order for me. When the maintenance worker arrived he was friendly and knowledgable. He was able to fix all of the issues on the spot, quickly and efficiently. Overall a wonderful experience.

                                        Everything in the apartment is cheap and no better than anyone else, you just happen to get a fireplace with it. You hear EVERYTHING the people above you do. EVERYTHING! Every step and drum on the counter and bed squeak. Do not getting a bottom floor apartment, and do NOT get one with a bedroom next to the stairs! People stomp up and down the stairs all night and it shakes your wall and wakes you (or your children) up. When we moved in the whole apartment smelled like nasty cigarette smoke. 4 days into the lease we tried seeing if we could move into a different apartment because we couldn't take the smell or the noise or the BUGS anymore and they did NOTHING to fix it. Refused to let us change into a different available apartment (even though it was only a few days) saying we have to let them trying to fix it. Which they did nothing even though we bothered them for weeks. And maintenance takes forever to fix something. The apartment above us flooded and it leaked into ours and flooded part of ours, it took over 2 weeks for them to finally come fix the damage. Cannot wait for our lease to end. Most of the people in the office seem nice and they try to keep the grounds clean (except for the dumpsters which are always full and have trash laid on the ground next to them) but our stay here has been miserable.

Being an apartment community is slightly difficult to prevent any noise from occurring, however we make every effort to handle any noise issues that may arise to ensure our residents they are enjoying a peaceful community and home. If a problem consist and does not become resolved please notify management.- The team at Brittany Commons strives to provide a well-kept community and keep a safe environment for everyone to enjoy. Should we experience difficulty with the compactors and we have to temporarily close them until they have been repaired we will transfer any trash that has been improperly placed on the grounds.                                             I have never rented an apartment before but I knew from the beginning that this place was "the real deal" and the entire staff at Brittany Commons made the process easy throughout. I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone looking in the area.

                                              The apartments here are by far the best looking in the area. The only downfall is the complex staff is completely aware that they lead in the competition. From time to time the office staff can become rather cocky and big headed. I currently live in one of the oldest apartments in the complex. It comes with its problems but overall it's pretty well kept. Brittany commons has policies on everything!! It's a nice structure but a very socialist way of living. Everything goes through the leasing office. They are very community oriented here. Always doing events atleast once a month. Even a wine event! I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone on the search!!

                                                Moved here in February; Apartments just blew everything away that I saw in F'Burg and other communities. ADORE my Brixton. Well kept, property is beautiful, well maintained, apartment looked NEW, mgt staff completely awesome and on top of things; Maintenance, the best anywhere I have lived. Neighbors are fantastic; Apartments are very, very quiet.

Everyone is very friendly and when there is a problem the staff take care of it right away and they are very apologetic. I haven't even had any major problems. Just the regular everyday issues.
