    My experience has been okay living here. Only complaints are the pool hours, trash bins over flowing, smokers smoking in entrance ways of apts and the gate remaining open but lately it's been closed. The gym has no sanitation wipes for the machines are use. For the amount of money charged here, I should see no riff raft moving in, but I think the rent specials are bringing unwanted issues in the neighborhood. Clear signs at the teaks bins that say not to leave large items like furniture but people continue to break rules. How embarrassing when people visit.

Brittany Commons policies for the community are to ensure that the property is well taken care of. We are a large communtiy and our grounds staff makes every effort to be sure the trash bins are not overflowing. There may be times that household trash is not placed in the compactor as it should be. With our residents help we can generally notify the resident that may not be following proper procedures. We are working diligently to keep the gates remained closed. At times, due to their sensitivity and wear and tear, the gates may need repair work done or if inclement weather occurs they will need to remain open temporarily. Fair Housing requires our community to accept any prospect looking to make our community their home that meet all of our criteria standards. Please let us know if there is any activity that needs immediate attention. We appreciate our residents and want them to know that our staff cares and takes pride in the community!       Timing is an issue when it comes to fixing air conditioning units In the summer. I do not have any additional Comme ts that will consume 89 more charters. This will hopefully consume the remaining characters... forcing a minimum number of characters is not very smart ...

        I love the community. It's well maintained, quiet, my neighbors throughout the community are friendly and neighborly. It's convenient to shopping but still nestled away from heavy traffic. I feel very safe and secure when coming in late.

              We enjoy living at the Brittany Commons Apartments. It is quiet. Any problems that we have is promptly addressed by the Brittany Commons staff. The maintenance crew is excellent. They have taken care of any problems that we have had promptly and effectively. We would recommend Brittany Commons Apartments.

                My family moved in to BCA in Feb 2013. At first we loved the apartment complex. Then we started having issues. They say that it is a gated community, but since we have lived here the gates have been open about 98% of the time and the 2% they are closed you have to punch your code about 5 times to get it to open up. We have had a HUGE HUGE problem with spiders getting into our apartment as well. And when we first moved in, we were told they had to bomb the apt before we moved in, and when I asked them to bomb it again 8 months later they stated they didn't do that. Also, be prepared to get to know your neighbors, because you can hear them at any time of day or night! I think the people above us are raising a herd of vampire elephants and rhinos bc they make the loudest noises between 8pm and 7am. Also, when it comes to having problems fixed in your apt, make sure you have the Horning Brothers phone need available, bc going above management here is the only way things get fixed. We has termites in our apartment and I took pictures and showed them to management. They told me they were not termites, just a bug. But they would have someone come out to check and get back to me Thursday, since the bug guy only comes Wednesday. Thursday comes, no one called. I called they told me they took samples and they would call me when I came back in. A week later I called them again, needless to say it was termites. I got the run around on treatment and who was going in and out of my apartment for treatment with this for three weeks. When I came back from visiting family, I walked into two huge holes in my baseboards. I have a 2 year old and it was not acceptable. I called management and told them, a week and a half later it was STILL NOT fixed, so I called the owners of BCA and they got involved and resolved the issue that day for me. Management is very lax and ridicilous around here. Not to mention, while trying to resolve the termite problem, I was emailing management and the lady told me to calm down and relax. If I am paying over 1300 a month I expect to be told what is happening and who is going into my apartment if I am not there and kept in the loop of what is happening, not to be told to calm down and relax. The trash dumpsters are absolutely horrible as well. Expect to see trash bags overflowing and all along the side walk. If I knew anyone looking to move here, I would tell them to look elsewhere in a heartbeat!! Once my significant other got back from deployment, we went to look for a house and moved out as soon as possible!

                  Dear Resident, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for any inconvenience you may have had while residing with Brittany Commons. We make every effort to ensure all of our amenities are working properly, however at times things will need repair. We do recognize that the gates have been an issue. We had several major repairs that were necessary, but we are hopeful that they will work more consistently going forward. Additionally, over this past winter, one of the compactors was also broken; therefore, we provided a temporary roll-off for the residents to use until repairs could be made. With such a large property we try to maintain the compactors as often as possible to avoid issues such a as the overflow of trash. Brittany Commons offers pest control for residents on a weekly basis for any treatment they need in their home. Generally for an issue like spiders we also offer to replace the weather stripping around the doors, as this is typically where they gain access. Termites are a completely different issue. Those matters should be handled promptly and I apologize if this was not the case with you. I also understand your concerns regarding the noises that you were dealing with in your home. While we recognize our apartments are not sound proof, we do encourage residents to be respectful of those that reside around them. In situations where residents need assistance, we will do our best to work with both parties on an equitable solution. Once again, I apologize for the inconveniences that occurred during your stay with us. If you have time, please give me a call at the number below.                           I do not like the fact that the front gates are almost always out of order and propped open. One of the reasons I chose this community was the gated aspect, yet the gates seem to always be out of order. I really wish they would fix the issues with it.

                                    Very friendly, quiet and safe. Family oriented and friendly staff who try and help you. The pet fees are high in my opinion and I wish the appliances were higher quality. But all and all, I an very happy here and plan on staying for a long, long time.

                                      Recently moved to this apartment. The leasing office is a tremendous help with preparation for the move. Our two bedroom apartment is very comfortable and spacious. The tenants are friendly and enjoy living here. I would recommend this apartment community.

                                        We have many unresolved issues with this apartment. The day after we moved in, I took a list of issues to the office - things we had noticed. None of them have ever been addressed. Snow removal is a joke - the plow just makes a swipe down the center of the parking lot which traps all the cars behind a wall of snow. Response for service requests are slow.

                                          We love our apartment. It is spacious & comfortable. The apartment is beautiful. We love the location so close to shopping, doctors, & hospital. It is a quiet apartment community. They keep the grounds beautiful. The maintenance workers are very professional, efficient & very nice. The office staff are the best. We really really like them. They are very helpful & great to work with. I highly recommend Brittany Commons Apartments if your looking for a new to home.

                                              In the few weeks that I have lived here I have enjoyed the peacefulness of the community as well as the close proximity to my place of employment and shopping centers. One of the features that attracted me to this community was the size of the kitchen; I have thoroughly enjoyed meal preparation time with my husband as we are both able to work in the kitchen together.

                                                Great location and staff. Suburban lifestyle yet very close to shopping, restaurants and recreation. Secluded, yet very close to I-95 and major highways. Brittany Commons is a neighborhood, not just an "apartment complex". Truly a community of people from around the World.

                                                  My apartment is great. But.... for the price you would think the gate would work and the trash wouldn't pile up so often. I also would like the pool to be opened longer. I work in Herndon so it takes me an hour and a half to get home. This does not give me long to enjoy the pool. I would welcome longer pool hours.

                                                    Dear Resident, I'm glad to hear you like your apartment. The gates were temporarily out of order due to some asphalt work needing to be completed by an outside contractor which has been completed now and the gates are operating as they should. As for the trash, a compactor part was broken which has been replaced now and the compactor is also operating.
