Wonderful we loved it here safe and convenient lots of shopping area the saff are excellent rooms are spacious and clean very update system the gym is my favorite area there are wide variety choice of schools if you have kids lots to do as family

I was really excited about this community from the looks and reviews on it online alone. The leasing office staff were easily able to accommodate me and help me feel welcome when I needed to walk in for a tour, and because or that I now have a happy new home!

Overall these apartments aren't a bad place to live and they're in a convenient location, but there's definitely some significant issues I've discovered in my time here that really need to be addressed sooner rather than later before I can wholeheartedly recommend this complex: - My specific apartment is quiet, but this is extremely location dependent. Other apartments will experience significant road noise. - Overall facilities maintenance is somewhat poor with lots of broken/damaged doors in the parking garage, awful slow elevators and issues with trash and water leaks in the stairwells/garage that make them smell pretty bad. - Security isn't great, cars get broken into in the parking garage and lots of sketchy people around the building. - Staff are nice but advertised the apartment as having AC hookups when they definitely do not have proper hookups. - Certain apartment layouts have no windows or sliding doors, only hinged doors. This makes getting proper ventilation way more difficult than it should be and requires jury rigging to use any kind of AC unit. On the top floor these layouts are health hazards in the summer since the building tends to run hot anyways.

Griffis Lake Washington is located in a generally safe area in Renton, with a number of nearby stores and restaurants. Staff is responsive and courteous. Only complaints would be related to costs associated with increasing rent and additional fees, along with traffic noise.

Convenient location, friendly staff and quiet. Maintenance should be improved. Trash rooms need more frequent clean up, trash cans are often overflowing and mail room area is messy with thrown mails and fliers.

For the most part good. Property cleanliness is a challenge and this property desperately needs security cameras and mirrors at each garage entrance/exit. Disappointed that some office staff only acknowledge you when showing the property to potential residents otherwise you're ignored.

Standard apartment complexes serve their purposes but do not entice me at this stage of life (50+). Griffis offering a gated parking lot and complex really put my mind at ease. Upon moving around the facility day to day, i can sense that even the other tenants possibly feel the same way, so far everyone has been very courteous.

Overall I will say as my first Apartment By myself The staff was extremely helpful and kind I was able to get approved straight away and now I'm extremely close to work The walkthrough and explanation of how things work Wowed me And can't wait to get to know this community more!!!

The associates with at the leasing office they are amazing and very helpful?. I'd like again ask to get more attention to clean the external space like elevator, parking lot and also make people follow the trash schedule.

It's a nice building, and the location is great. There are some reoccurring trash, theft, and smoking issues. The amenities are nice too, but can be closed or dirty often. It could be more of a lack of care from other residents. It's also a pretty expensive.

Location is great, they have issues on trash and safety. They need to be involved on residents issues not only say call the Police. gym, pools and staff is great too. We undertand not having enough staff affects but you need to take care ASAP

My experience has been good overall but dogs barking on a regular basis is annoying, especially outside of the quiet hours, and so is birds pooping on my car on a daily basis. The trash/recycle situation continues to be an issue, primarily in the designated trash/recycle rooms where the smell permeates throughout the hallway.

Too expensive. Complex has gone downhill since we moved in 6 years ago. Car and storage unit got broken into. Packages getting stolen. Pool and spa often broken. Neighborhood has gone downhill too. Increase in crime and drug addicts hanging around in the area.

The community seemed nice during the tour as they strategically took me to areas that they clean regularly. After moving in it became clear that this is actually an extremely unsanitary property; overflowing garbage, foul pet odors in the hallways and stairwells, filthy parking conditions in the garage.

overall, everyone is a keep-to-themselves type which is fine. The main issue is policing the pool there is a wild disparity between residents. On the low parents leave their kids alone screeching at the top of their lungs full throat slurs being tossed around. It's kids so whatever but then you have the adults staying way too late, hosting full-blown block parties with alcohol, or just inviting anyone over ruining the pool. Also do these people no the way the pool and apartments are built their private discussions can be heard by everyone. There should be signs explaining the echos that carry every where.

Most of People live here are very nice and friendly. The guys in leasing office are very kind to the residents.The maintenance is efficient and good.Their service is very excellent and helpful. Really nice to live here.

a perfect location for being so close to work. There is a park nearby and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. However the apartments run hot so be prepared to get a portable a/c and have some really good ear protection because the fire alarm is pulled all the time

The building is nice, but the floors are thin. So you hear people walking in the apartment above you. And some people are "heavy Walkers "and if they're up till 2 or 3 AM in the morning, you won't get any sleep here.

John was great! Also albert came in for another service request a while ago and was great as well! They were both professional and did a great job. Very quick and accommodating. They identified the problem and found solutions in a timely manner as well.

All the facilities are well-equipped. But with Seattle climate change, air conditioning is now a must for apartments. The round glass installed to be visible in both directions of the parking lot is too small. I don't see a car coming.

Great place
Kristin Mays made the process so easy and smooth she made renting a place not stressful. Her commitment and communication is 5 star. She and the apartment is great place to live at its very clean and has a resort feel. This apartment is walking distance to all the restaurants and stores! Great place, location and staff!

I have enjoyed living at Griffis apartment, I feel super safe, I love the quality of the room and the cleanliness of when I moved in. The staff and people who live in the community have been nothing but kind and nice to me.

The community overall has been great the apartment is nice but there are definitely some downsides as well that comes with living in a larger complex. The trash rooms have been an ongoing struggle to maintain and packages being lost to the changing of services have yet to resolve itself completely as well.
