I've been amaze with this community everyone is fast and friendly, I love the fact that I can pay rent, request service and communicate via email. and I don't have to calls of go in person to do anything.

THIS has been the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. After calling in and asking to fix the original washer, I couldn't use the "color cycle" because when it was on the spin phase, it would bang against the dryer. They came and replaced the washer with supposedly a new washer and it was USED. Not only was it used but it WORKED MUCH WORSE than the one they replaced. IT DOES NOT HAVE A SPIN CYCLE AT ALL. All the water would get left in the washer, the clothes were SOAKING WET and dripping in water when I would go to put them into the dryer. Now I called in on Friday night and they said they would send someone to fix it. Which he didn't, all he did was shut the laundry doors. They pushed the dryer so far back into the laundry room that the door would smash against the door when you would go to open it. They placed the washer to where I couldn't move it to try to open the dryer door. Now after they sent someone on Saturday, I don't even believe he came into the apartment or did anything to the washer. It was the same exact washer. He tried to say that he ran a small load but it was left on the EXTRA LARGE SETTING, and of course didn't place any piece of clothing in it so they can see that the WASHER DOES NOT DRAIN AND SPIN OR SOAK OUT THE WATER. The same issue happened Sunday night. I had to take every piece of clothing out and drain the water out myself, one by one and ran the dryer THREE TIMES on 80 minutes timed cycle. This place has been an absolute nightmare, from the bad maintenance services and the amount of noise!! My biggest concern was the noise off the free-way which Lauren promised it wouldn't be bad once you close the doors. I don't sleep at the apartment every night because it's SO LOUD. This place has been an absolute nightmare. I have only been here for 17 days and I can't wait to move out already. I wish I did more research and read the reviews because all they tell me is we'll follow up and we'll see what we can do and NOTHING CHANGES, it just gets worse. And now I have to pay over 900 dollars for an apartment that does not have a working washer and a livable environment. Extremely unhappy and I have been so patient and THIS IS ENOUGH.

I'm super appreciative of the Carlyle Staff. This is an enormous property and I often wonder how they manage it all! Nonetheless, always feel like a priority. The community is friendly, clean and drama free!

This complex we've referred to as home for almost 6 years. Initially lived in lovely Red Rock floor plan, transferred to 2 bd Sand Stone fabulous w/attached garage; now in upgraded 2 bd Sabino on the golf course - delightful.

If you go into the office the staff is responsive. You will probably have to wait as staffing does not appear to meet demand for their time from residents and potential tenants. If on the phone they are responsive, but if you leave a voicemail could be a couple of days before receiving a response

I am so upset with this place.. we lived here for 3 years.. never had any problems.. always paid our bill on time.. if I could give this place 0 STARS I would! I am really upset because ever since they got bought out we have had nothing but problems with this place.. so let's start first with the mail.. my fiancé would order a lot of stuff online and they lost our packages like 5 to 6 times. I had to make 4 reports to FedEx. I would go many times and would ask them if they had a package for us and they would always say "oh we don't have it". Then I would always ask them "can you please double check" and some how they would say "oh it was miss placed sorry about that" .. Come on people be f-ing organized.. then my sink, stove, and bathroom sink would always brake or the dispenser wouldn't work and sometimes they would come super fast or would just never show up.. and I would have to call again and they would tell me oh we are short staffed.. oh and they where going through maintance people like nothing.. it's was crazy.. and I know because I talked to the maintance people and they would tell me everything!! Also, I would see some maintance people texting and driving in the golf cart at the same time.. smh.. ?? Also, we lived on the second floor and you can smell weed from other apartments or people walking around and I have kids so that is something I want to avoid.. when I would go to the office I would barely get greeted.. kids would be kicking the lights everywhere and people never picked up after their dogs.. then my daughters room would get super cold and our room would be warm and vice versa.. it was so annoying.. and they said they couldn't fix that.. ?? Also, we had a Cockroach problem in our building our 3 year there.. and they came 3 times it was so annoying.. and they didn't believe me till after they found some in the garage.. to top it off they sent us a letter saying your lease is ending and you have 30 days to leave.. mind me we wanted to buy so I asked the lady if they can extend it to 1 or 2 more months and they tried to make me sign paper that I wouldn't be able to put any bad reviews or they can press charges and I was like ummmm you guys are kicking me and my kids out in 30 days umm no people should know where they are moving too.. just remember you are just a number to these people and they see you as dollar bills.. this is not a home!!! Stay awayyyyyy!!! ??????

Initially I was very unhappy with the cleanliness & the kitchen. The kitchen (and bathroom) cabinets really . The countertops in the kitchen & bathrooms are basically painted on but look okay. But the size/square footage is very generous; main bathroom is huge & the bedrooms/closets are large. I like the golf course view, although I never considered how loud it would be. I think the landscaping could be improved/more greenery. I really struggled to get anything fixed in the first 3 months. At some point management changed & it seems better with faster response etc. Overall it's a decent community & I sense management is trying to provide better service. It's terrible that tenants just abandon their cats - I have rehomed 3 so far at my own cost (unfortunately common at all apartments).

Service calls maybe responded quickly but the efficiency of the maintenance work is poor due to lack of people working on it and lack of spare parts to fix plumbing problems. Maintenance was not performed in a timely manner although the technicians working on the problem were trying their best.

Excellent and good atmosphere.. Surrounding areas are maintained well ... good and clean Maintenance staff are good and responding well with pleasing nature ..... Play area can be filled with more playing acts other than sliding ..

This is a good community. It provides clean, mostly well-maintained and reasonably priced accommodation. Even though it is technically a gated community, it is mostly so in name only. The safety feature is not really good, as anyone can come and go easily around the gates. Even one of the gates - enter or exit, malfunction most of the time. The office staff are usually well mannered, courteous and ready to help you when you need it. But sometimes I feel some maintenance requests are not given due care, they just follow some rule book. I see this more often after the recent management change (I have been living here since late 2013). But overall, I shall recommend it to a friend, if asked.

I haven't lived in an apartment in twenty years. And, I've never lived in a large apt. complex. So, moving into Carlyle was filled with anxiety. But, May, Allen and Lauren made it so easy and smooth. I love living here. The other tenants are friendly. The amenities are kept up well. The apartment was clean. The pool is clean and close to my apartment. The exercise room is clean and the TV gets enough cable channels so that I have something to watch no matter what day or what time I exercise. My dogs love it as much as I do.

When I first moved in the community was very quite, and a nice place to live. Now I am hearing crying babies through the walls. Even before I get in my door I am hit with a strong marajuana odor from my upstairs neighbor. Dog poop is properly dispo

Thus far, excellent. The office staff is exceptional and I am quite pleased with the layout of my unit. It is spacious and flows quite nicely. Well done on the front office and models interior decorating! Work orders have been promptly attended to.

Leasing office very professional and friendly. Were being the best thwy could be even thoufht the unit wasn't re ady when I arrived nor was it ready when they called me back to move in I'm sure he was embarrassed never got receipts or conditions of the things that atill need to be corrected in my unit.

Great area, friendly staff, and nice apartments. Overall I'ev had a great experience living here with my family. The area is calm, clean, and close to malls and grocery store. Quick drive to the airport. I highly recommend to my family, co-workers, and friends to live at Carlyle apartments.

Lived here collectively for five years through three different units. Save your money and live somewhere else. They don't charge a pet deposit, they charge a pet "Fee" which goes right into their pocket, including the $30+ a mont you pay in pet rent. You'll still be charged a MINIMUM of $200 for a carpet cleaning fee on move out. The staff are rude, uncaring, and disrespectful. On two different occasions my husband went to pick up packages that were left at the office and even though they KNEW who he was still challenged him picking up the packages for me. When he told them to "Get the lease" to verify he lived in our unit they finally relented. On top of the ridiculous amount of rent they will charge you for a subpar unit that does not include upgraded *anything* they will also demand a deposit, even with immaculate credit. There are at least a dozen other apartment complexes in the area that boast much nicer units and NEW appliances for the rent and I suggest you look elsewhere. It took maintenance almost two months to replace a dishwasher I had been complaining about spewing water all over the floor everytime I used it. After two solid weeks of complaining about their "landscapers" they still blew dust, leaves, and dirt all over my car, my patio, and under the garage door. Unless you enjoy throwing money away/being robbed, there are other places that are much more deserving of your hard earned rent money every month. Don't be fooled.

Somewhat satisfied although changes are needed and can be done. Dissatisfied my keys were not ready on my move in day. Many things were not working, broken nor fixed in my unit. I have yet to have a "move in" ready unit since moving to Arizona. ??

We moved into Carlyle August of last year. We enjoy the pool, gymn and the play area here.the landscaping is maintained very well.doorways are lighted at all times. Safety is guaranteed.maintenance staff are polite and friendly.the office staff are polite and friendly.

Location and price are great at this apartment. There is available shopping around the area and he fact that we can walk to South Mountain for recreation purposes is awesome. My biggest concern would be the parking situation.

Enjoyable place to live! Office staff and maintenance always professional and helpful. Love the surrounding beauty of the golf course and nearby hiking trails at South Mountain. Overall, great place to live and feels like a vacationing environment every day.

I was told I secured an apartment and put down money, but 5 days before move in I was told I couldn't have it anymore and I had already started to move in from out of town. Staff communication is terrible. The apartments are nice and it is a good location.

extremely disatisfied. The apartment was not thoroughly inspected before move in. Dead bugs on the floor and live roach in the sink. Had apartment sprayed and bombed and found infestation on floor and many still alive. I would not recommend this place. Also it seems very unorganized.
