Its okay, the apartment was not prepared when I moved in and I had to clean the apartment home myself. The carpets were very dirty and the bathroom tub was not clean. I have to call emergency maintenance out to fix a few of the problems.Please ca

This is a very good apartment, I definitely recommend my friends about this apartments and encourage them to stay here. Staff is very good and co-operative. All the issues/problems which I reported till now were addressed before the expected time.

This complex doesn't even deserve a star! The new management company is a joke & they have turned this place in to a circus. We (my husband & I)had multipule issues during the move in process. We have had to open multipule work orders to have things fixed in our apartment. Due to the issues during the move-in process, we've requested that maintenance calls before entering our apartment. That way we can keep track of who is in our apartment & why. Not once prior to coming to our apartment has maintenance called. On top of that the work orders are either lost, the work is half --- done or they don't fix it at all. We pay over $1200 a month in rent for what, to live in a complex where its okay to have your car broken into & management not help you in regards to re-keying your apartment(knowing you have 3 children in the home under the age of 15), the front gates never being closed at night, your neighbors up all hours of the night slamming doors/banging on walls, another neighbor hit your car, you see them do it & management refuses to move your parking place or the other persons. In addition, recently my washer started smelling like gas, even though there are no gas lines coming into our apartment. We opened a work order, gave permission to enter(lucky we were home this time around). The maintenance guy says he doesn't smell anything & that the washer is a newer one, but then he proceeds to tell us to run hot water & bleach through our washing machine. If you dont smell the gas why would you advise us to run hot water & bleach in the washer?!

We read some reviews about the new property management company being bad. We were a little concerned as the last two living arrangements have been awful as far as property management is concerned. So far the office staff, especially Jessica have been very pleasant and the maintenance was also very prompt and professional as well. We only recently moved in, but so far our experience has been pleasant. We are up against the 10 but the noise isn't really noticeable in the apartment. So far we have no complaints and are looking forward to living here.

Lighting in the open spaces is very dull. Parking has very less lighting. Garage has very less lighting available. Maintenance staff is good, but the office staff are very careless. They missed my Move in sheet, which I had to refill again...

Can't beat the location and Carlyle is a much needed improvement from the last property management company that we had. I started out in a one bedroom and upgraded to a two bedroom 3 years ago. I have golf course and mountain views and very nice neighbors.

It's a decent apartment and good overall area. Only gripe is there isn't enough lighting throughout the complex at night. The amenities are great, free coffee (lattes, espressos, cappuccinos) gyms, and the costs is "ok". We got lucky and have a 2 bed, 2 bath and garage for under 1200$ a month. It's also located at a convenient spot. As a black man, I wouldn't mind a evening run but because there isn't enough lighting, plus the environment we live in today, I stay in doors when I can.

Other than the hot tub not working outside my apartment, the past year and a half has been great. When things break they are always quick to help out! Thanks, since i have to add more text, the AC went out and they gave me a new one within a week and a temporary one in the mean time! thanks!

It was great until I had to call maintenance to help me with my garage it stayed stuck half ways for 3 days with all my valuables there I would leave messages and they woud call me back assuring it would be fixed nothing ever happened very disappointed that

Like anything in life, there are good things and not so good things. I choose to focus on the good! For the most part its a great place to live. I can see that management is trying to make some improvements and for that I'm thankful.

We searched many apartments in the area before finding this one. When we went in to the leasing office the atmosphere was inviting and the staff was very receptive. We were very impressed and needles to say the apt itself was clean and bright.

I've been residing in this complex for about 3 months and lets just say it has been the worse experience so far. The community is delightful but the staff is beyond rude! When you try and contact the office, no one is available to answer the phone so you have to go out of your way and convenience and walk/drive to the office just to be greeted by RUDE staff. Everyone was so delightful and enjoyable to converse with prior to signing our 1 year lease. Once you sign the lease, you begin to see true colors. Lets also mention the fact that each time I have a package delivered to the complex, for some reason once the local postal service comes back and confirms who in the office signs for it, they still continue to manage to loose the parcels that I have been expecting to receive. I would NEVER recommend anyone to reside here. Nothing but rude staffing and uncomprehending staff!

Dealing with staff shows no professionalism.The requests to speak to a manager is farce because the staff always find an excuse why the mngr is never available for their incomoetence.theres something that always gets lost or is not done in a timely manner. I have been treated poorly by the staff on many occasions.

The experience here has been very subpar and I haven't been here a full month yet! I moved in on 10/3 and is still dealing with repairs and painting issues on a daily basis. The issues I've had has ranged from a broken bathroom vanity, to missing fixtures, to a very dirty living space with paint & grout stained floors. (and this is after they told me the cleaning crew just left the property) The management and maintenance crew are very lazy and does not contact customers in a timely manner. Each day that I've asked to be contacted or have maintenance come out, they show up from 1hr-30 minutes before closing time, and no matter what you're dealing with, they WILL NOT stay beyond closing to assist you. This is the most unprofessional staff that I've ever had to deal with in all of my adulthood. Also, the staff repeatedly states the phrase "This is not how we normally do business", however, this is obviously their "go to" phrase. They can show me a lot better than they could ever tell me. I work for a fortune 50 company who could refer several of my peers to this community and wouldn't dare refer anyone to have to deal with this chaos. If you chose to check out this community, please do not be mislead by the term "upgrades", as this is nothing more than peel and stick flooring with a terribly installed, small, backsplash in the kitchen and bathrooms. I've just recently moved to Arizona and this is a terrible welcome. No one should be this stressed out at home. Good luck to anyone that choses to view this property.

I recently moved into this apartment complex on 09/21/15, therefore I can't speak too much on the complex yet. Currently, I can say that is has been an OK experience, being as we had a delayed on some items in our home and some miscommunication in other areas. Staff memebers, especially Santana and Melissa have been very respectful and prompt on requests or concerns. With that being said, maintenance as well has come quickly to each and every work order request and have nice personalities while in my home.

Overall, this is a wonderful community. Nice amenities and overall aesthetically nice. The staff members are nice but they could be more attentive to maintenance issues if they were allowed to make repairs as observed rather than have to wait until someone reports them.

Carlyle at South Mountain is becoming better and better. The service requests are taken care immediately. The maintenance staff are very cool. The best part of this place is people are calm and simple. They do not disturb you at all.. They help you when possible.

Overall community is okay. The office staff is very unresponsive and maintenance requests take long to complete. There's alot of pet waste around premises. There is no security guard on site even though office claims there is. Not happy!!

Dead bushes need to be replaced. When u are promised something, it should be fulfilled, such as airing out the apartment... we have to wait a whole week before we can move in. Sucks. I've lived here twice, once in a three bedroom and once in a two. the first time was great, but since I got the two bedroom and the management changed its been pretty awful. My garage door remains busted even though I've put in requests to have it fixed, the exterior lighting has been off for months making it hard to see outside. I've had friends and even myself almost fall down the stairs leaving the apartment at night.

It has been great, peace full. The service and maintenance are on top of things. Repairs are done timely. Its is also a very secure complex. I have accidentlly left the cars open and even the key on the door of the car. One of the maintenance workers was kind enough to take the car key to the office which in turn gave it to us.

These apartments are absolutely gorgeous and quite. Everyone speaks to everyone. The people in the office are extremely nice but when you move in be sure to check everything in apartment first and take pictures of things you dislike. Overall I definitely recommend the apartments.

I have not had any bad experiences while living here, unfortunately, my upstairs neighbors keep up a lot of noise and this was not the case a year ago when I moved in because it was very quiet in this complex the rent has gone up by $60.00 since I have lived here.

Office staff is awesome! Just wish the maintenence was a bit faster and get things right the first time so they wouldn't have to keep going back. Cars speed through here a lot at night, it's scary walking out of the garage. Huge cricket and roach problem on the sidewalks outside. Also, it's taking a VERY long time to complete the painting on the buildings. Only thing I love here is the office staff.
