So far we love the community and locations. We just wish we didn't have to ask for so many things to be redone in a "renovated" apartment. At this point I feel like a pest to the office staff. Hopefully once everything is fixed, we can start to truly enjoy this complex and its amenities.

    Roomy, beautiful apartment. Nice amenities. Recently moved in, no real issues so far. They were a bit slow to respond to my maintenance request, but they got the job done and I am satisfied. I feel good about living here for the next couple of years.

      The staff was very accommodating for the short period of time we had from the time of finding this place to our move in date. It is a prime location with all the facilities close by. We are very pleased with the architectural design and lay out of the apartment.

        I like living at Carlyle @ South Mountain. Very convenient location to ASU, airport & local shopping centers. Mature & shady landscaping keeps apartments cooler in the summer heat. Entire complex is being repainted. Very roomy interiors.

          Maintenance requests have always been a huge concern. Carpet cleaning coupon was not given after renewing lease last year. Paint is coming off the tubs and sinks. Safety has never been an issue and nor has the staff, which is always friendly. It's always the follow up on a request that is forgotten!

            I like this community.Recently fixed the roofs and new painting the walls so I like more than before.Maintenance staffs are kind and I am satisfied.Hopefully everything keep good to support for residents here.My computer still is not working, so I used my smart phone.

                Love the area, absolutely love the apartment not, so much the kitchen even in the renovated apartments. The new paint job on the apartments side is hideous. Pools are great and the fitness center is okay but not enough room for the free weights.

                  I am extremely satisfied with the location, noise, and responsiveness of the staff. I am extremely dissatisfied of the landscaping and how quickly the staff maintenance fixes or repairs the apartment. Overall I enjoy living here in the community. But I wish it outside of the apartment, it was cleaner and greener.

                    The staff here is very friendly . If you need something done , they do it in a Timely manner . Maintenance people are very friendly . The area is very quiet and very close to shopping centers . The schools in the area are very good . People that live here are very respectful. Very pleased to have moved here from California

                        I had looked for an apartment for about a month prior to finding this community. I have been quite satisfied with the attitude and speed by which every concern has been addressed. Warm, welcoming, efficient and on spot is my description and in a word a GREAT place to live

                          Staff was friendly and efficient. The lease signing agreement was simple and precise. The community is quaint. The amenities are wonderful, the gym is perfect and the pool is an oasis paradise. I would recommend this to my closest friends and family.

                            We just moved in almost 2 weeks ago and so far everything has been good! When we moved in the garbage disposal was broken but was fixed in a couple days.The pools and grounds are clean too. The only thing that needs to be done is them finishing painting the buildings

                              Nice apartment complex with awesome landscape. The staff behavior is highly appreciated. Beautiful floor plans. Noise is comparatively less inside and outside the apartment. We love the community. We will recommend this community to our friends also.

                                Gym and pool: more than half the machine's don't work. No AC.NEVER any paper towels or sanitizer to clean the equipment. Pretty small and cramped if there's more than 5 people there. Pools are pretty nice. They are 24 hrs so that's awesome. Outside/walking areas/landscape: lots and lots of dog feces everywhere, I'm talking in the grass, in the rocks, by the parking spaces, even on the SIDEWALK! Definitely not implementing the clean up after your pet rule. However, there's beautiful trees and lots of green grass so it's a nice looking place.....just watch where you step. Inside Apartment: Very cheaply made. Appliances white and out dated. Cabinets, tile, blinds, bathroom toilets, shower head, mirrors, lighting all out dated and cheap. Things break very easily. Space is good, rooms are a nice size, nice walk in closet and guest bathroom is big. Location: Now this is the best part! Location is great! Right down the street from the mall, shopping areas, restaurants, libraries, parks, local bars and hot spots and a maim highway! Love the location! Staff: WAS GREAT!...until we switched property owners now definitely not so much. They seem very unorganized and confused. They forget to put in maintenance request and they seem like they simply don't know what they're doing. Not really friendly or approachable. Price: It's a reasonable price I'm paying for what I got. I would, however not pay a penny more, only because of the condition of the apartment and the new staff. Recommended: I will not be renewing my lease, but if you're looking for an decent price andnot too big on the amenities then it's ok...

                                  The office staff and maintenance crew are the best at addressing any issues in a timely manner. I feel very safe in this community. The landscaping is beautifully maintained. My neighbors are friendly. What more could you want in apartment living?

                                    So far with all the upgrades it looks great. Looks like pools will not all be done and furniture at pokl is garbage. I like the pet stops and a dog park would be nice. Really no lighting around my unit and grass is dead. But office staff is great. Love it

                                      Location and elementary school are great. Parking is horribly limited. Pool maintained too often. Tree trimming is annoying. Gates are often broken or open. So why have a gate. Playground is not maintained cracked and broken benches. No drinking fountain or vending machine for water near park.

                                        stay away far far away. since Trinity has taken over the apartment complex staff has gone down hill. Workers from the tree company were staring at my daughter in not a good way. She reported it to the office and told them she doesn't like to be looked at like a piece of meat and the blond lady in the office had the nerve to laugh at her. Not a laughing matter as far as i am concerned. I was much happier with the previous company

                                          Moved here 3/15/14 when Essex was the owner. Took a chance and renewed our least just before ownership changed. Very excited about the upgrades the new owners are planning and the upgrades to the property that are taking place, i.e., landscaping, roofs, etc. Have found the Maintenance Techs are knowledgeable, courtesy, and personable and they've responded to my requests in a matter of days.

                                            I have liked living at this community for the most part. The complex is definitely in need of some updates, have had issues with appliances since I moved in. The maintenance staff is nice but not very good on follow through, usually service requests require repeated requests for anyone to come out and frequently require multiple visits to resolve issue because issue was not resolved the first time. Rent seems a little high considering the dated and faulty appliances. Residents are mostly quiet and nice, have heard my upstairs neighbors fighting on occasion but that is apartment living. But have not had an issue with noisy kids or people blaring music or TV. Have had some pest issues mostly crickets.

                                              It has been a pleasure living here until new owners came along.Its taking 3 weeks just to get a maintence order completed the office management does not follow up with the tentants.No people skills I will be moving out 2016.Prior to that I love the spacey rooms its like living in a house, But I would not recommend this place to no one
