Going to the Dogs
I have lived here for almost two years and have always loved it. Lately there is so much trash being thrown around it isn't funny. Beer cans, soda cans, fast food wraps, and cigarette butts everywhere. The pool used to be a nice clean pool. It is constantly cloudy and the pool area is also filled with cigarette butts. Someone broke into the pool area over the weekend and trashed it. The noise level at the pool is deafening. No alcohol is allowed but there are always folks drinking there. It seems most don't realize that some of us are also there to enjoy the pool and don't seem to respect others in the complex. I wanted to stay here but don't think I will if things don't start improving. And of course the rent goes up every lease.

It is a nightmare
I lived in this complex for more than 10 months and it was like a real nightmare for myself and my family. And I can give many reasons: 1)We had mice in our house (many times) and the leasing office refused to fix the openings on the wall, and in the end I purchased some tools and materials and close these openings by myself. 2) we have the main power gate not working and it is open always and my house was theft because a foreign car came across that gate and get in to the complex and stole money from my house and they run away by their car through that gate,. 3) some of the employee (not all of them) treated us in a way that we did not like and they were aggressive I have other more issues regarding this complex as well.

Bed bug infestation!!!!!
I am going to start by saying please do yourself a favor and do not move here!! The apartment is infested with bed bugs, and they do everything they can to hide it from you until you are the one being eaten alive. They do not take responsibility of their actions of all of their own policies that they break. They do everything they can to rob your money. All around a terrible place to get yourself into!!!

BEWARE, THERE ARE THIEVES WHO WORK AT THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX.
BEWARE, THERE ARE THIEVES WHO WORK AT THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX. I left my apartment for about three weeks, when I returned to pack and move out I notice items were missing from my apartment. My windows were locked with added locks I picked up from one of the Ace hardware stores. Before leaving I double check my door to make sure it was locked. Upon return to my apartment, I noticed several items were stolen/missing from my apartment including new flat screen television, new WII game, and a brand new guitar that I had purchased for my son as a birthday gift. The windows were secured and locked and there were no forced entry to the apartment. I phoned the police to record the incident. I believe the apartment maintenance men did the theft. The story that I was told by the apartment employees did not make sense, so I did a little research, I spoke to the court constable, and he said, The apartment was locked and secured when he entered, changed the locks, and exited the apartment . To the maintenance man/men who entered my apartment and stole my items, I hope something of value is taken from you. People say Karma is a B. It, Karma will eventually come back to get you, If it have not already.

Very bad management and very bad apartment
I lived there for one year and had a very bad experience in living there. The new management including the new manager and assistant manager are very greedy and they try hard to suck all the money from your pocket. Before I move out the apartment, I cleaned everything, the carpet, counter, bathrooms, and, refrigerator, and so on. I asked them when they want to come here to take a look. They told me anytime after you move out should be ok. So I called them and asked them to check the apartment in the third day. They told me it is too late for them to check the apartment. Then, I told them I cleaned everything and everything is back to its original condition before I moved in. However, they told me the cleaning is not as clean as they expected. They want to charge me ~ $400 for the cleaning. They even did not send me the bill and directly ask a debt company to call me for the money. Of course, I will see them in the court. The apartment looks good outside, but inside is very poor. They would want to spend money outside apartment only to attract you to move in, however, they would never want to spend money inside your apartment to improve your living condition. The wall of apartment is very thin and there is no insulation material at all. You could hear clearly what s going on in your neighborhood day and night. In the summer, it is very hot and you have to spend lots of money to keep room cool. They have a small fitness room and the exercise machines are all very old, some machines even did not work at all. The pool is very small and shallow and the deepest part is only 5 ft. So basically an adult can not swim at all. Every time if it rains, the road in the eastern side will be submerged by water for several days. The apartment is very small and the rent here is much expensive than other place. Sometime, they will low down the rent and they call it special. But after one year or several months, they will raise the rent greatly. If you don t want to stay with a higher rent, you have to move out. I strongly not recommend you to move into this apartment.

absolutley horrible apt
i moved in june 1st 2010 since day 1 i have nothing but issues with everyone from leasing staff to the maintenance staff. The first day i moved there was glass from the light fixture on my floor major safety issue with me having a new born son, my carpets were stained and had what looked like ciggarette burn holes through out enitire unit, my front door wouldnt lock, my shower head didnt work i was told i had to purchase my own. as well as when i contacted maintence about my front door they lost the initial work order and took them another 2 weeks till they could repair it. the biggest issue i had was water damage in the ceiling, when it rained a huge hole opened up in my ceiling and spackle from the roof, water, dirt etc had completely covered my furniture my newborns toys, my carpets etc. i advised them of the problem it took them nearly a month to fix the problem. it rained i would say 6 or 7 times since my inital phone call, which means its rained inside my house evrytime. completely unacceptable. there was mold growing in the ceiling wich is a huge health issue for me and my son. i told the maintenance man of the problem he cut out a sqaure from my ceiling and littered the spackle from the roof all accross my apt. the leasing staff continued to tell me they wouldn/t clean carpets and had no responsiblity to clean my furniture and the maintenance man said he found no mold, which i find very hard to believe considering he is not a mold expert and no mold lidigation report was ever done. palm court advised me they would repair my ceiling and thats all they were required to do. i took it a step further and took legal action and was able to teminate my lease with no termination fee what so ever. if i hadn't persued legal action they would still be bs'ing me telling me how its not there responsibilty. they were good at selling me the apt and very good at singing me up but once you sign the lease your just a number to them. i would advise anyone looking into palm court in arizona do not sign that lease they will screw you anyway they can.

A Huge Dissapointment
I moved into these apartments in September with my daughter. I was so excited because it was a quiet community with easy access to everything I needed to be. When I first moved in I didnt have many issues and when I placed a work order the job got completed. Not always the quickest, but eventually. In Feb we had a change of management and since then the place has gone to hell. The manager ------ is rude and careless. She acts as if she cares about the tenets, but when there is a real problem that needs to be handled she passes it off to one of her office girls or simply just doesnt communicate about what is going to be done. I had an issue with a water leak and it only got taken care of after the 3rd message to the office and a lot of complaining. What was supposed to take "two weeks" ended up stretching out over a month because the maintenance team couldnt seem to get it together for whatever reason. Had I known this was going to happen I would have never signed a lease with this place and I will now avoid PB Bell at all costs as the management team doesnt seem to care at all. On another note, below are some additional reasons to avoid this complex: The walls are thin, I often hear my neighbor singing in the shower or their alarm clock going off. The security gate was broken for months and now they have the temporary code to get in displayed on the screen. It wouldnt take much for someone who isnt supposed to be there to get in. The place needs updating BADLY. Since I have been there my fuses have shorted out, a cabinet door came loose, the pipes corroded over with calcium and rust, the dishwasher screws came out of the counter and the dishwasher fell over, and the sliding glass door to my porch has a bad track. Little things but frustrating at best.

Unhelpful Staff, Broken Gates, Inaccurate Floorplans
The maintenance staff are irresponsible at best. I left a maintenance order at the front office indication whether or not the maintenance staff could enter and they got it wrong. We've also had maintenance staff leave in the middle of a job to "get a sandwhich" and not return for several hours, sometimes late in to the night. As for the gates, we are now close to a full month of them being inoperative. We had P.B. Bell Property Management take over on Feburary 9th, and they don't seem to be putting any more effort in to fixing them than the last company did. They were fixed for about a day since they arrived. So much for the "added security" that was marketed to us. Also, recently I went to buy some furniture, and asked for a floorplan which marked our living room as being 12'6"x13'. But after measuring with a tape measure our living room turned out to be 11'9"x12'6". Did the walls get thicker? Many other rooms fell short of the advertised floorplan. Avoid this place if you care about where you live.

One of the better apts
Palm court was one of the better apts that I lived in. I definitely wouldn't have left if it was up to me. The place was clean, well lit, queit, and the apts were large. I really had a beautiful time there, but received noise complaints. My fault, but I defiintely approve this place to renters :)

New Manager
While I used to enjoy living at Palm Court I honestly would have to say that the new manager is horrible. She trys to look down her nose at people and when confronted about situations with the apartments she becomes defensive and refuses to give the corporate office's phone number. She also practices discrimination when hiring people and obviously doesn't care about the caliber of people that she allows to move into the apartments. Then there is the little issue of her advocating people to commit acts of animal abuse against the many strays that live on the property. There are some kittens that I have seen around the property and aparently one of the residents doesn't like these kittens. The manager being barely larger than one of these kittens told this resident to spray the defenless creatures in the face with windex, and other harmful chemicals. She makes threats to residents and doesn't allow for payments to be made as the previous manager did. Heer's Management is going to lose a lot of business on this property considering they are overpriced by $300 given the current area rentals and how much they are going for. It has also become the hot spot to dump your stolen cars. There are vehicles that are out in the parking lot and haven't moved in months. They are on flat tires and more than likely have stolen items in them. Yet again more degridation of the property and the value of it, and again the manager does nothing. Noise problems... the walls at this apartment are paper thin... you can hear just about everything that happens and goes on within the walls of the apartments. We have made several noise complaints about the people upstairs from us, in fact for the past 6 months we have been complaining about the noise level and we are told to deal with it and pay our rent. Heaven forbid you need the fire department to respond here. You will get a nasty note telling you to tell the fire department the next time you call them to close the gate. Are you kidding me? I can't believe that the manager in all of her lack of wisdom would do such a thing. Did anyone see the people that drove their car into the pool? The manager was out there trying to keep people from filming the apartments... guess she was more worried about the property than the people that live there. Maybe a little compassion and caring instead of worrying about the property and the fact that it hasn't been kept up would be a good thing. My hope in writing this is that people will stand up for their rights as renters and that they will stand up the half pint Scumlord that keeps the property. It's time for a new manager that is understanding and people will stay. People that treat others poorly will drive the residents out of the apartments and they will go to the apartments where pets are welcome, and people are treated with respect.

Happy to be here
I've lived at Palm Court going on three years and I really like it. Terrific location for freeways, it's far enough away from crappy neighborhoods at a reasonable price. I did have my car stereo stolen, but that was my fault - I left the faceplate in the car and didn't use a Club. That's life in the big city. I really REALLY LIKE that a lot of my neighbors are East Indian. (i'm a whitie myself) I have NEVER - again, in three years - NEVER had a problem with noise or anything else from my East Indian neighbors. They don't bother me and are very quiet, which is all i can ask of a neighbor. I don't know what that previous reviewer is talking about (ahemracistahem) Parking is a bit limited, but everybody gets a covered spot, and I've always been near the overflow. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating - I moved from a one-bedroom to two in mid-lease and they were very helpful. I cleaned my apartment and had NOTHING deducted from my deposit. Maintenance is responsive and effective. Grounds are maintained well, never any problem with mail... I like it here.

My thoughts on Palm Court Apts.
I've lived at Palm Court for close to a year now and have thought of both Pros and Cons for living here: Pros: Affordable - Their rent prices are a good value, most comparable apts are more expenisive. Clean - I've had no issues with the cleanliness of the my apartment. I have gotten ants once, but management acted swiftly and I haven't seen any since. Proximity - The apts are very close to highway access (101 E/W and I17 N/S) and Deer Valley 30 Center. (Movies, Target, Restaurants, etc) Management - Usually are fast to act concerning rental updates, policy changes, etc. Management up front is always able to answer my questions. They are objective with pricing aswell. I am a bit concerned about moving out, it seems other reviewers have lost their deposits for arbitrary reasons (such as a 'per second' labor charge to throw trash away or to clean a freezer) and that my move in/out check list has a massive listing of what I could be charged if I break/damage/discolor something. I will have to wait and see. Neighborhood - Is relativley quiet and safe. If is close to an industrial park and bank. It is worth noting however, that it is only 2-2.5 miles away from a strip club. Cons: Large number of immigrants from East India. Call me whatever you like, but it seems that the majority of the poeple residing at Palm Court hail from this region and seem to have a difference of opinion concerning hours that are appropriate to talk loudly. My downstairs neighbors belong to this ethnic group and are constantly on the phone or are having visitors until 11:00pm-2:00am, even on weeknights. They have woken my 4 year old daughter repeatedly on the weekends and don't seem to pay heed to my requests for them to quiet down. I've for the most part adjusted and have realized the apts themselves are part to blame. The courtesy assitant was very prompt and did his best to help with the situation too. The aparments, floor to floor, have no sound insulation. Please reference above concerning how loud my downstairs neighbors are. In all fairness, they must be able to hear me walking around since I can hear their phone ring, their blender blend, most of their conversations, their alarm clock (7 am ), and if they are blowing their nose in the shower. I can't say there is much wall to wall sound insualtion either, but my neighbors to my right and left are fairly quiet. Approx 2 months into my tenure at Palm Court, Ten (10) cars were broken into in a single night. Granted they were mostly located in an expanded parking (a dirt lot created for the convienience of the tenants); it's poorly lighted and doesn't seem to be very secure. My car has NEVER been broken into, but I have dark tint, an alarm system, and a club. While I haven't suffered a rent increase, this is the first apt. complex to increase my utility cost, specifically water. It was a small increase, but it seems strange to do. It was around 8-10 dollars I think. The front gates that controll access to the parking lot have broken 2 times since I've been there. I live right next to the pool and there are a number of kids that use it right up to the closing time and are very loud while using it. This is a problem in the summer when I have to put my daughter to bed at 8:30 and the pool is open until 10. I also live right above a green belt (grassy area) and the same kids that like to swim at night also like to play frisbee or catch right under my bedroom window. They have stopped since I asked them to not play around so late at night near my apartment. Conclusion: I think my cons list is longer and more complete than my pros list, but overall, I've not had a bad experience with Palm Court. This is my 4th apartment and I have run into problems of one shape of form at each and everyone. These are NOT houses, I AM living right ontop of other people, so I can really attribute many of my Cons to me not being acclaimated to apartment living yet. UPDATE: (early summer of 2008) I'm nearing the end of my lease, and am considering leaving palm court. I had written about downstairs neighbors of Eastern Indian origin being exceptionally loud; this never changed, but they moved out and for a whole 2 weeks I enjoyed silience. However, when the new tenants below me moved in, I noticed that they, once again were Indian and that they are worse than the their predecessors. I crossed my fingers, but was horrified to find out that they were twice as bad as the others. Not only do they talk/yell into the night (it must be a very noisy place, this India) like my prior neighbors, but they have a young child who does not sleep. This child S C R E A M S, almost everynight and sometimes does not stop till around midnight. I've asked them in person, to their faces, repeatedly, to keep it down, but nothing happens. I don't think they understand that I can hear them talking/yelling/wathcing TV as loudly as they do. I'll give exceptional lee-way for kiddos and the noise they make cause I am a parent too, but every night is a bit much, and to actually hear the parents yell at the kid for screaming is just peachy. I have realized: There isn't a damn thing I can do about the noise. Palm Court, though they make a small effort, can't help me either. ------- are loud and have a pointless disreguard for an American lifestyle. I wish I could say other wise, but this is my second 'Indian dealing' in less than a year and both have been extremely similar. As much as I talk to , make friends with , or ask them to stop, they don't.

We hate Palm Court!!
We kept our apartment up and made sure it stayed clean... the whole year we lived there!! And when it was time for us to move out we left it in tip top shape. So we called and asked the office staff if our whole deposit would be refunded, and of course the liars told us yes! We went to pick it up and they kept almost $50 bucks out of our deposit because apparently it is very very expensive to wipe two crumbs from the freezer and heaven forbid have to clean your oven.. by the way the ovens were made in 1902. They take pictures of there nasty apartment oven and your apartment number and take advantage of you!! SO make sure you take your own pictures, if you decide to live in this nasty place! ALso, they charge $1 per second they have to walk to the trash can. We accidently left an item in the laundry room (that we wanted) instead of getting a call to see if we meant to leave it.. they took it upon themselves to throw it out and charge a ridiculous price for it. ($7 bucks just to walk 7 seconds to the trash) Also, we had a leak in the bathroom and they never came to fix the hole they made in to ceiling.. which was very unattractive. And please make sure you love to be stared at as you walk through this neighborhood... there are tons of creeps here!!

It's not as good as it seems.......Don't be fooled!
Ok- here are some facts:1) Parking is horrible, unless you get an apartment that has a parking space right in front of your building. We, on the other hand, go down our stairs, walk through rocks till we get to a sidewalk, follow the sidewalk around the back of our building, walk down a long sidewalk until we get to our parking spot. We tried to get our parking spot changed to a more closer spot, because I, as a woman have to go to work when it is dark, and walking that distance in the dark with very poor lighting feels unsafe to me. They would not have anything to do with changing us to a closer parking spot. 2)Maintenance has been to say the least, very up and down. Once we were having problems with ALL 3 of our fire alarms beeping every few minutes, the maintenance guy came out, took off the covers of the fire alarms, and stated that there was nothing wrong with them, and that they did not need new batteries. Well, after he left, it was only a few hours, and all 3 fire alarms started beeping again-think of hearing this when you are asleep at 2 in the morning...not very pleasant! We called maintenance again and told them that the fire alarms NEEDED BATTERIES!! They came out again, and put what we thought were NEW batteries into the fire alarms. Well, you guessed it, 1 week later, they started to beep again, and finally they came out and put new batteries in. Several months later after that maintenance guy had been fired, they hired on a very nice maintenance guy who came out and replaced one of the smoke alarms with a new one. Unfortunately after only a few months, this wonderful maintenance guy was no longer working for the apts, which leads to the next 3) Management and Staff- to say the least, is very hard to deal with when you have legitimate concerns. We have been here for over 4 years, and until the last year, we have had no problems with them, until recently. Noise concerns, and I mean loud music, etc, not just normal apartment sounds, mgmt states that they don't put up with it, but yet people still continue to do it and get away with it, even after complaints. Mgr and staff talk down to people and are very disrespectful, until around rent time when they are raking in the dough, not very friendly at all 4) Cost-this is a huge issue for people that don't get a pay raise every year-, and this is why we are going to be moving out soon- to a HOUSE,(cheaper monthly pmt by the way) thank GOD!!! If you want your rent to go up approx. $40-$80 a year, then you might like this place, us, it is just getting to be too much cost for what we get/have 5) Another reason why I am thankful that we are FINALLY moving: A HUGE influx of East Indian people that are continuously moving in here, because of a school/company across the street...now while some people might think I'm being racist, I'm not, just listen to what I have to say-my MAJOR concern is that instead of them walking on sidewalks, especially when its dark, they walk in the parking lot behind parked cars, and if you have someplace to go at night, its hard to see people that just IGNORANTLY walk behind you. This is just not one or 2 people- there is a lot! While we have never hit any of them, I am afraid that someone that can't see very well at night, is going to run them over. Mgmt won't do anything about it, because they get TONS of money with them living here. THIS PLACE DEFINITELY COULD USE A SECURITY COMPANY,INSTEAD of COURTESY PATROL, who doesn't do much....they waste too much of OUR hard earned money on landscaping-which comes every week and stays for at least 5 or 6 hours.I think they could cut back to once a month or even once every other week-and then hire a security company! Lastly, I AM VERY THANKFUL TO BE GETTING OUT OF HERE AFTER OVER 4 years of living here. This last year has been a NIGHTMARE. If you are moving from a house to an apartment, reconsider if you can....you won't regret it! Some of the above are our opinions, but mostly facts

Nice place to live
It's a fairly quiet place, both inside and out. Maintenance is always quick to fix any problems that may come up, and they do it right. There is one covered parking spot per unit, and a few "first-come-first-serve" scattered about. If you have two cars it's likely you'll sometimes have to put one in the large dirt overflow lot in the rear of the complex.

Lived here too Long!
Not Very Safe, not a very helpful Staff or Manager. No parking. <br>Anything that I find wrong with this place usually has to do with the management. They are notvery helpful when you have a concern. I will say that the Maintence persenel are very helpful and efficient. There is never enough parking. I feel as though anything that we see as an issue with our living condidtions is just blown off. Also my Car has been Broken into twice and Vandelized once.

Overall decent, but parking sucks
If you have 2 cars, don't even try to live here. They have no extra parking except the dirt lot in the back which is completely unsafe and not well lit at all. There were several break ins while I lived there and not much done to inform residents.

DO NOT MOVE HERE
I have lived at Palm Court Apartment since 2004 and absolutley hate it. Since we have lived here we have had our car broken into and then stolen in the middle of the day and it was parked in the very front of the complex. When we told Diana that our car was stolen and she said "oh I didn't hear any reports of cars being stolen" She didn't hear any reports because we were reporting it just then. The office obviously does not have high standards when it comes to their employees. They were unreponisve and unhelpful about the whole situation, not to mention COMPLETELY unsympathetic! <br>I think Palm Court has the worst staff I have ever seen. They all smoke inside the office and are not personable at all. They are the most unorganized that I have ever seen at all.<br>When we were first touring the apartment, Diana was showing us around. She has absolutley no personality and seemed to act as if we were bothering her. We went with Palm Court because of the price and the amenities. <br>I feel very unsafe everyday that I live here at these apartments. The courtesy assistant is a joke and we constanly here cars ripping up and down the street. Just yersterday young kids were playing football in front of the gate while cars tried to get in.<br>Another thing they will rent to anybody! My previous neighboors had about 10 people living in a two bedroom and aparently this is not uncommon int his complex. I have never felt so uncomfortable about my neighboors until this apartment.<br>I always feel like the office is going to try and screw us and that is not a good feeling to have about the staff. We have never been late on rent so I don't know how they handle that situation.<br>I just know that this apartment seems to be a good deal and safe.. BUT IT IS NOT. Pay more for a nicer area, who cares its not worth the anxiety!

Mostly Good Experience
I have lived at Palmcourt since 1999. The experience has been mostly good. <br>1. I always pay my rent early so I have never had any problems with rent disputes. <br>2. I have never had problems with any appliances and I have lived in both the 2X1 and 2X2 aparments. Because I've had no problems I don't know the maintenance men. I do see them around the complex and they smoke like chimneys, curse a lot and are not friendly at all. <br>3. The manager is not friendly or approachable. The new office girls they keep hiring are very unprofessional. BRING BACK RHONDA! However, any voicemails I've left have always been responded to and taken care of. <br>4. I have never had any problems with my vehicles and parked in the gravel lot for at least 2 years. It is a hassle to try to find an empty spot for a second vehicle. <br>5. I feel you get a great deal for the price and size. I've looked at dozens of aparments this year to see if I wanted to move and I can't find anything that compares. <br>6. My problem with Palmcourt is the yucky people they are letting move in. I don't see how these trashy people can afford it. Wild kids run around everywhere until way after dark. It appears that a bunch of people are living in the apartment by me and they are really trashy. <br> <br>I would recommend living here but after reading the other reviews I guess how happy you are all depends on what part of the complex you live in.

My Expierance at Palm Court
I´m not registering so I come up Anon..but I will tell you about my exp in Palm Court... First of all, in the local news, this complex came up as one of the worst to live in...shortly after we moved out. Which will validate the complaints made below.. <br> <br>1. This complex is a gated community which would be a positive, and I understand that does not deter anyone from getting in, but that should still help the situation somewhat. There was a period of about 6 months that we had to be on "alert" for suspicious folks walking around the parking lot due to "excessive" amounts of vandalized vehicles... <br> <br> <br>2. There was a severe lack of parking, which was remedied by opening one of the apartment walls and putting up chain link fence around a vacant dirt and rock field...of which you most assuradly had to use due to the lack of parking. This lead to the "teenage testosterone car doughnut burnout" syndrome and numeros vehicles were damaged by dings by flying debris....the apartment´s response to this was "we don´t own that land, so we aren´t responsible for anything that happens to it" in which I reply: if you don´t own that land..why grand access to it? With that responce in mind..residents owned boats, and some folks had trailers that they used to work out of every day...theese devices were stored in the dirt lot, inclusive to a few vehicles that were not in use and had expired tags. The vehicles were not run down, did not have flat tires or anthing of that nature..they were just placed in the back of the lot, not to harm anything..one day the apartment complex decided "we don´t want theese things here anymore....lets get rid of them" an pasted all vehicles with expired tags, trailers, and boats with a 72 hour notice to remove from the premises...in which my response was "if you don´t own the land and you don´t take responsibility for it, then how can you dictate whom can park what in it?" again, with no response...so I moved my vehicle, allong with all the other residents who had to move thier boats, ect..the resident who ran his business out of his trailer had to break his lease and move out. <br> <br>3. The office manager was less than personable. Complaints were not handled in a timely manner and there were issues with rent. Now...let me explain. On new years day numerous residents did not drop off thier rent due to the office being closed and the drop box not being open. (though the drop box wasn´t very secure to begin with) The 2nd rolls around and NUMEROUS renters were tagged with a late fee, when the residents complained, we were all told that that is part of the lease and the fee was valid...followed by a notice in the monthly newsletter that stated a reminder of that fact..now I normally wouldn´t have a problem with this...but how are you supposed to pay rent when the drop box is closed? Shortly after this incedent...the parking lot suddenly got allot easier to park in because allot of folks left... <br> <br>3. Maintenance...now I can´t speak for everyone, however with my expieriance, maintenance did a poor job at best. Our air conditioner had died in the middle of summer, which in turn required a repair order to be turned in. The maintenance man came, dissassembled the air conditioner (in which while doing so, turned the air green with all the "colorfull metaphores" that he was spewing from his mouth) when he finally determined the problem...bad motor. "I´ll be back," he replied. Four hours later he came back and with the same enthusiastic verbage he used to take the thing appart he re-assembled the unit..when tested it was noticed that no air was coming from the unit....that´s because he INSTALLED THE DAMN THING BACKWARDS! That prompted a couple more explitives and he stormed out..getting the assistance of another individual whom he recruited to assist him in fixing the problem. <br> <br>Given my personal experiance, I would not move back there nor would I let any of my friends/family. <br> <br>Also, please note that this review contains both opinion and fact. Take this review for what it is...my personal expieriance. <br> <br>Thank You <br>

Too much money for what you get
I have lived at Palm court since the early part of the summer of 2003. What "appeared" to be a quiet gated community now has turned into the security gate being broken on 3 different occasions, kids screaming at all hours, cars blaring their radios to a very limited gym facility. For a 25.00 deposit, you´d think you would get a bit more. I have on 2 different occasions called the "courtesy officer" only to never receive a call to let me know that he even got the call or that the issue was looked into. So much for security. Based on other communities which are closer to downtown, this complex is a bit pricey but I figured "eh, at least I don´t have to worry about trash living here"...BOY WAS I WRONG. <br> <br>I will be happy when my lease is up and I give my business to some other apartment community that lives up to its name.
