My time here has been very positive overall. The maintenance is generally quick, and m6 apartment and facilities are well maintained and modern. I love the surrounding area. One complaint however, is the rising rent cost, typically it increases about 8% every year.

Good office and maintenance staff; recent paint update looks good and was performed with minimal disruption. Prices are high, but that's true everywhere - just market forces. Can get noisy, but no more so than other apartment complexes. Not great, but not bad.

Beautiful property and amenities. However, co-working space and amenities hours are unusual and only open while leasing office is open. This is the first time we ever experienced such odd hours. We love our unit and the renovated amenities, but the inconvenience coworking space hour maybe the few factors that causes us to consider moving elsewhere since we both work from home sometimes and would like extra working space.

The apartment is nice with a nice view. There constantly seems to be work being done which shows that you guys care but it's also feels inconvenient because every month there's something that has to be worked on or repaired. The work staff are nice but the people around the complex aren't friendly.

I moved to CityLights in Dec 2024 and my biggest concern is noise at this community. The fire alarm system has been ringing since I moved in mostly in midnight that scared me to death. Also noise from other neighbors is extreme. There are noise from remodeling other units when tenants move out.

Newly remodeled apartments do not align with how much rent is costing. The remodel could have been better. Use a lot of old materials, and it shows all over the apartment. The remodel could have been better executed for the price.

I do think that the afterhours emergency line is not working. In the past when the fire alarms have gone off everytime I call the office after hours it says all circuits busy. This has happened at least 5 times.

City Lights has a great community and great amenities! It is conveniently close by to Grand Park and the Town Center so everything is within walkable distance. The maintenance staff here are also very attentive to our needs and the leasing office is quick is answer any questions we have. 10/10!

Nice place if you don't have an EV. We asked a resident if they liked living there and they raved about it. Balconies all feature a big loud ac compressor so if you use ac, plan to not use your balcony.

Excellent apartment community! Beautiful amenities and common ground kept pristine. Numerous community activities throughout the year that are fun and creative. The community is pretty good all around. Nice gym and pool area. Convenient parking garage. The main complaint is owners letting their dogs pee and poop in the hallways. It's pretty disgusting and dangerous to elders and kids

I love the community and I really like the apartment complex. It's beautiful and the amenities are wonderful. The management team seems to be really great. I just wish the maintenance crew would've fixed all of the problems that I encountered upon my move-in.

Q: What are some of the problems at City Lights?

A: Constant daily gardening noise for hours and hours Monday through Friday. Dogs always barking, excrement and fleas all over. Catalytic converter thefts. Construction noise all day every day. Homeless people living on front grass. No carpet so you hear every step your upstairs neighbor takes.

A: The water bill is horrendous. $70 per month. I lived in other complexes in aliso and it was never over $10. City lights must be getting a kickback from the bill. The bill is paid to Conservice. Appropriately named as they are cons. Just google Conservice and see ALL the people they ripped off and no doubt gave kickbacks to the complexes.
