Beyond exceptional experience! Staff have always been professional and caring. The community has always been well kept and clean. There are great amenities including club house, fitness center and pools. There are also great barbecue locations with great seating arrangements.

Truly there is no other place like City Lights as the staff, cleanliness, and amount of amenities make it the absolute perfect place for anyone to live at. I am a full time student who is moving away from home along with my best friend and this was the most safe, the most affordable, and one of the closest apartments to literally everything including school. If you are thinking of a place here, do it!

Overall, this is a great apartment community. The location is super convenient?within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and a nearby park, which is a big plus. Like anywhere, there are a few minor issues here and there. The office staff and maintenance team are always friendly and helpful.

City Lights is a great place to live. The units are completely upgraded with a variety of open floor plans are You will love the grounds and amenities. They have everything you can ask for. Devin in the leasing office is exceptional. What impressed me most? She showed us multiple units without any pressure, walked us through all the amenities, and was genuinely funny and engaging throughout the whole process. You can tell she actually cares about finding you the right fit, not just closing a deal. Here's what sealed it - after we left to think it over, she called saying other people were coming to look at our unit. I literally made a U-turn, drove back, and we signed the lease on the spot. Whether that was sales strategy or genuine concern for us getting what we wanted, I appreciated her looking out for us. Francisco from maintenance came by today and blew me away. This guy unclogged our master bath drain, found the perfect peg for our pantry shelf, AND replaced the toilet pump - all in one visit. But what really impressed me? He automatically wore protective booties in our apartment without us even asking. I've never had a maintenance person do that unless I specifically requested it. Shows real respect for your home and attention to detail. The amenities are solid, location is great with plenty of nearby shopping, and the staff genuinely seems to care about doing things right. If you're tired of dealing with places that cut corners, give City Lights a shot. Trust me, the difference is obvious from day one.

Honestly it was the worst living and move experience ive ever had if im being honest. From day 1 this brand new apartment that i was sold on new remodeled everything brand new turned out to be a nightmare no ac or heat is all ima say here and all the maintence request are there to see why else it was horrible

It's been positive for the most part, lately hallways and trash rooms are dirty and smell bad. Some residents with pets leave dog pop in the hallways. Trash is left on the floors of the trash rooms and multiple times I found cat litter on the floor as well.

We've lived at City Lights for ten years, it's been fairly good overall. Cons: The fire alarm goes off too much. Basically, if it ever goes for real, we're all dead, because we just ignore it with annoyance. People let their dogs poop/pee anywhere. It gets cleaned up but its gross. Pros: The apartments are nice, we moved to a renovated unit and its very comfortable. Our building (can't speak for others) is pretty quiet, can't really hear much from any neighbors. Just some normal apartment noise, nothing crazy. The amenities are nice. I really enjoy the new gym. The apartments are close to everything and it's a relatively safe area.

Apartment interior is very nice. Hardwood all throughout. We picked a bad location being next to the road with many loud cars going by and fire truck sirens, non stop it seems any time of the day. Also, many rodent sightings on our patio and throughout the complex along the planters. If you have a dog, be careful of him catching fleas around the planter areas and bringing it into the home. Overall nice apartment and experience hear, just not what we want to deal with anymore.

Overall the apartment inside and out is nice and clean. I've never seen any pests or bugs around the apartment. The maintenance staff is amazing but the office staff is pushy and call you multiple times at work for needless reasons. The pool and gym are amazing as well as the general location.

My experience at City Lights so far has been fine. The community is being remodeled currently so there is more noise/construction, but all the work that has been done has really helped the overall appearance of the complex. The staff is very friendly and I have not had any issues with my time here.

Q: What are some of the problems at City Lights?

A: Constant daily gardening noise for hours and hours Monday through Friday. Dogs always barking, excrement and fleas all over. Catalytic converter thefts. Construction noise all day every day. Homeless people living on front grass. No carpet so you hear every step your upstairs neighbor takes.

A: The water bill is horrendous. $70 per month. I lived in other complexes in aliso and it was never over $10. City lights must be getting a kickback from the bill. The bill is paid to Conservice. Appropriately named as they are cons. Just google Conservice and see ALL the people they ripped off and no doubt gave kickbacks to the complexes.
