Just moved across the country from New York, did not even get a chance to see the apartment in person first. Cody was a big help and am very satisfied with the community so far! Walking distance to many good restaurants and bars!

This is one of the most dog friendly places I’ve ever lived. The soundproofing in the apartments is excellent as well, and I never have to hear my neighbor’s tv or conversations. Everyone here is also very friendly and welcoming. We even had two residents offer to help us when we were moving in! Overall a great community that I would definitely recommend.

Love it here! Very spacious and clean and the perfect location for everything I want to do downtown. Cute and modern community areas, high security makes me feel very safe, and the grocery store right across the street comes in handy for sure. This complex has everything you could want!

Being in Denver, the mile “high” city can live up to its name. We had a neighbor that often took advantage of this. Management was firm and decisive in eventually terminating this neighbors lease as our neighbor continued to violate the building guidelines and rules. As one of many on our floor affected, it was nice to leave the apartment again without being suffocated by the stench.

We love living at Griffis Union Station! Location is key, and we are within walking distance to the grocery store, several parks, Coors Field, the train station (so easy access to the airport) and a ton of restaurants, salons, etc. The landscaping is always nice with seasonal plants and flowers, there's a gym, dogwash station, on site storage, dog park, I could go on, The neighbors are friendly and it's a vibrant place to live. The Property Manager makes herself available for the residents and has on many occasions helped me with requests that she could have easily passed on to another staff member. The level of genuine, one-on-one service she provides is amazing.

By far the best place I’ve ever lived. Awesome location, nice apartments, great amenities, and an extremely helpful staff that runs the place. I’ve lived here for 3 years and I’ll be happy to renew my lease again. Best choice I’ve ever made.

Great management. Very communicative. Great amenities. Safe area. Maintenance team does a very good job when they come around. Not a single issue that has come up that hasn't been addressed promptly. Close to everything in LoDo!

It's been a great place to live. Great location, good amenities, friendly neighbors and staff. It's very conveniently located to a lot of great parks, restaurants, bars, night life, etc. All around a great place to live.

Awful awful place to live! Honestly I would not wish this place on anyone. At one point it was a great place, but has gone so far down hill in the past year and half that I can actually take a breath and be living somewhere so much better than there. Thought the oh-so love experiences with the leasing staff and ever so incompetent manager there was over, but just moved out and they are trying to erroneously charge me for everything. They either want you to pay an extreme amount for them to clean the apartment, or you can clean everything before you vacate, but they will still find any and every charge possible to still bring it to that amount so they can just get their $$$. I even did a walk through with the assistant manager -----, and he checked off everything and said it all looked great, and yet I am still getting charged. Funny how that works out huh? Honestly I am happy to finally be out of this place, but the gift of Griffis just keeps on giving. The location may be enticing, but trust me, there are so many other places you can live and will have a lot better living experience.

I love the location, but the apartment community is not maintained. The pool is constantly closed and the garage is broken into almost once a month. The major repairs to my unit are not taken care of in a timely manner

The community is nice. However there are a lot of pets and on my move in day I almost stepped in dog poop multiple times on the side walk and stairs. The hallways also smell like dog pee. I still am satisfied with all of the amenities and my unit. I wish people living there would clean up after their pets.

Mostly good experience, the building management is very helpful and informative. I would prefer the maintenance team to have better communication, but they are typically prompt and fix any issues fully. Overall, I enjoy living in this community.

We have live at the Griffis Union Station for 3 years. We very much enjoy the location, as it is near almost anything you want to do. Our apartment is quite large compared to other buildings and I feel it is also build in a much more solid fashion than similar apartment building in the Downtown area. The staff and maintenance are great and very responsive. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone thinking about living around this area.

I moved in during the peak of COVID, which may explain the lack of communication, setup and assistance when I moved in. I was given a key and that was it. Nearly a year later, my information still isn't entered into the call box. I'm paying more for an "upgraded unit" which seems clearly unfinished - the mirror frame is cracked, the dishwasher slides out of the holder, and the underside of the counter for the island is unfinished, leaving white residue on your leg if you rub against it. The overall quality of the craftsmanship of the unit is subpar at best. The garage is broken into constantly, and seeing a pile of broken glass near a recently smashed car window is commonplace. It feels like the majority of people who live here are recent college grads who have no respect for their neighbors: loud music constantly, seemingly neglected dogs barking through the night, garbage in the hallways, the place just feels like a rundown frat. The building is falling apart - doors have their latches barely hanging on for months before being repaired, the crumbling outdoor stairs took nearly a year to replace, the pool was closed for several months to retile which apparently needed to be redone. It feels like management's incompetence is blamed all of their contractors for delays and they stick with "that's just our policy" when you bring up something dissatisfying. If you just graduated college and you want to feel like you're still in college, this is the place for you. Otherwise, save your money on this overpriced rent and look elsewhere.

I like the building overall, they just charge way too much for being on the highway/train tracks. If I was paying this price on the inner side of the building it'd be fine, but it is ridiculous to pay this much for being on the highway

At first, everything was great! Then, Covid hit and things got a little crazy. The whole time period (even now frankly) put me in a very bad position. I was upset with Griffis for a lot of things that I really didn't understand the whole dynamic of. But as time has gone on I am very happy with Griffis and the Union Station community. Tamra has been an amazing community manager and very thorough with questions and assistance of all kinds. The team is quick to notify of any problems and quickly resolve them. The only downside is disrespctful and messy neighbors here and there but that's just life. I am very grateful to currently be a resident at GUS.

Very negative and would not recommend to a friend. Do not care about the safety of residence and are very unhelpful. Constantly monitor the community posting service only showing what benefits them, and deletes criticisms.

Super loud with train running right next to the unit. Sounds so loud, whatever the train is doing, that it sounds like the city has been bombed. The trains are "humping" - joining train cars together. I have since gotten somewhat used to the unimaginably loud train noise, but when I was shown the unit, and asked the community associate, "Is there any noise from the train?" She responded that she "didn't know". Come on. That's a load of BS. Bri. That is who showed me the place and feigned her ignorance about the noise. I mean. When I describe it as unimaginable, it is because you can't even imagine a noise so damn loud. It is insanely loud, it shakes the whole building, and it comes unwarned and at all hours of the day or night. Funny also that the week that I moved into the apt community in 2017, 2 cars had been stolen right out of the garage and 8 cars had been broken into. Not exaggerating. I asked Bri about the security of the garage and the community, and she did not mention these occurrences. The garage door happened to be broken about 1 time a week at the time.

This is by far the best renting experience I've had. Aidan and Tamra have been outstanding when it comes to customer service. They go out of their way to make sure we are comfortable and all our needs are met here at Griffis. Our questions are answered immediately and with detail. Any issue is addressed immediately and followed up on. I can't say enough good things about my experience living here. Thank you guys for all the hard work you do.

I am and have been a resident at Griffis Union Station for a couple of years and had I been writing this review in my first year, I would have rated this property 4 stars, unfortunately, the building and management has degraded to the point of barely earning 1 star. The building is quite literally falling apart. The outdoor stairs are and have been crumbling and breaking off for over a year, the elevators consistently break down, railing and control panels are falling off in the elevators, pipes leak in the stairwell, the area around the mailboxes smells like rotten garbage, door way frames that lead to the elevators are falling apart, vehicle break-ins happen on a regular basis in the garage, opening your balcony door in the summer will invite a barely breathable urine soaked smell into your apartment, hallway carpets are dirty, at times you’ll find homeless people in the building, there are half destroyed speed bumps that are not fixed… this list goes on and on. Taking your complaints to management will only elicit a myriad of excuses and zero action. Management is often dismissive and demeaning to resident complaints. Management does little to enforce their own policies often leaving tenants that do follow their protocol at the mercy of those that do not. Do not rent here, there are far better options in the neighborhood at the same price.

I've been living for over 6 months and still think exactly how I did when I moved in. This place is wonderful to live in. The ammenities, staff and environment is fantastic, best quality experience. I always get efficient & the most friendliest service with the maintenance, and the staff is such a pleasure to greet and see. The place is always kept up in cleanliness and you can tell that the people care about how we feel in this environment. Definitely recommend the place.

Overall, the experience at Griffis Union Station is a positive one. Having community amenities like a pool, hot tub, grill, and dog park make it an easy and comfortable place to live. If there was one area for improvement it would be regarding security around the parking garage. There have been numerous vehicle break-ins within a gated parking garage.

I love the location. That's about it. Really enjoyed my time here before, but the lack of communication and care for the community overall from the staff is upsetting and therefore I will not be renewing my lease.

The team at Griffis union station has done such a great job for my roommate and I not once, but twice. The units are beautiful and spacious, the amenities are top notch, and most importantly I feel really safe in this tucked away area of Union Station. Special thanks to the community manager Tamra who has personally gone above and beyond to answer all of our questions, search for the perfect apartment home, and really listen to our needs. The responsiveness from the team is not something that should be taken for granted. I have personally learned that you will not receive that almost anywhere else in this area. In these hard times is comforting to know that the place where you live has a team of people who genuinely care and look out for their community. Highly recommend. Oh, and did I mention there's a liquor store literally underneath the building? That should count as an amenity, especially during quarantine ;)
