The staff in the front office is phenomenal! Super friendly and easy to work with. I have made several service requests for general things and they are fixed within 24 hours every time. The location is awesome and anything you need is within walking distance. Griffis is working to improve the community and the rent is lower then most in the area.

Great community, great staff. So close to downtown, makes a great first place to live in Denver- right in all the action! Amenities and grounds are well kept. Maintenance responsiveness is great. Lots of dogs on site, so if you are a pet owner get ready to make some puppy friends.

Griffis Union Station is the third LoDo/LoHi apartment building I have lived in and it has been the best of the three so far. My last apartment building had a similar location and was more expensive but the hot water would be turned off continually for repairs, never an issue at Griffis. Property management has treated me professionally and turned around service requests same day for each request. You pay a little bit more than average for the area but I would rather pay extra for a nicer place in a great location with on-site amenities that I take advantage of. Walking distance to Coors field/LoDo bars and also RiNo when it's nice out. Living walking distance to Union Station has made going to the airport a lot easier with the new A line. Have referred multiple friends here and they have enjoyed living here as well.

I have lived here for over a year and couldn't be happier. The location is great, with a King Soopers and Whole Foods to walk to within minutes. Bars, restaurants, pizza, SUSHI! Everything is super close by, but at the same time you aren't quite in the thick of all the downtown craziness. Gio, Carla and Bri are the best team in Denver. They put positivity into the community and genuinely care for their residents. I don't plan on leaving any time soon!

I have lived here seen August 2017 and over all I have really enjoy living here. I wasn't here during all the problems that have been posted on here. It looks like to me Griffis has take the actions to make it better because I have not had any issues. It is a great location you can walk pretty much anywhere and very close to the highway. The staff has always been very nice and helpful to me whenever I need something or have a question. PLUS they have a dog park which is so nice when you have a dog downtown to be able to play and run around.

I've lived in this complex since 2014, and I absolutely loved it... until now. Honestly, do yourself a favor, and DO NOT LIVE HERE. In late March of 2017, this complex was sold to Griffis Residential, and rebranded as "Griffis Union Station." Since then, we have watched the place we used to love living in fall into complete disarray. Griffis first left a bad taste in my mouth when they tried to force my husband and I to sign a new lease with Griffis, even though we had renewed two weeks before the purchase happened with the previous management company, Monogram. First, they claimed they "lost" our lease. We then produced a singed copy, and were told it wasn't valid, because "it wasn't singed by a manager" previously. My husband and I called Monogram, and had them battle it out with Griffis over accepting our perfectly fine and legally valid lease. Since Griffis took over the property, crime at our building has increased exponentially. People ram into the garage door, and then proceed to break into cars, and even steal cars out of the garage. Between 04/01/2016 and 04/01/2017, there were only 9 total criminal incidents at our complex for the entire year. Between 04/01/2017 and 07/13/2017, there have been at lease 39 reported criminal incidents at our complex alone, according to the Denver Police's interactive crime map. This number is much higher than any of the surrounding complexes within that same timeframe, which begs the question, what are these other complexes doing to prevent said criminal activity that Griffis is clearly not? The garage door has been broken since the end of April, and we were told the new permanent one would arrive within 3-4 weeks of May 23rd. It is now July 15th, and we still do not have the new garage door. A communication came out today stating that the door was "scheduled" to arrive today, but would still take "several" days to install. Since May, Griffis has had a security guard patrolling the garage, however, break-ins still occur regularly. On June 27th, a power outage occurred in the building, and apparently several of the exterior doors have "lost connection" to the fob system. Management has decided to lock these exterior doors, so they cannot be entered. It is now July 15th, and these doors have yet to be fixed. Residents were sent a communication three days ago from management deflecting the blame onto the previous management company, while feeding us a variety of excuses including the system is "old" and "new parts need to be shipped." Basically, Griffis won't accept responsibility for for their (serious) security issues, and resorts to blaming everyone else. Today, we received another communication saying the fob vendor anticipates completion of fixing the fob system by Tuesday July 18th, which is almost a month after the outage, and completely unacceptable. Seeing as the garage door that was supposed to be here over two months ago hasn't even been delivered yet, I won't be holding my breath. There is a serious lack of urgency and concern around security in this complex by management, and it is honestly alarming. Instead of spending their money on the issues that actually need attention (like expediting the installation of the garage door and fixing the fob system), they choose to spend money on painting the exterior of the building a nauseating shade of puke green, as well as taking away the rent drop box for some unknown reason. In addition to all the issues previously mentioned, vagrants constantly camp and even dedicate on the property, but security has yet to do anything about it no matter how many times we call and ask for increased patrol in the affected area. Recently, I've noticed people are propping open doors, or taping down locks, so doors don't lock. No matter how many times we remove said objects, and bring it to management's attention, nothing changes. The loading zone was recently re-painted, and now has less spaces for parking that are generally taken up by people who do not live in the community. It makes it more difficult for residents to park and loans and unload things from their cars. Renewal prices are laughable, too. Get ready for a 40% increase that is way over the market average. That said, I cannot in good faith recommend this property to anyone unless these issues are fixed.

I've lived here for less than a year and I have loved every minute. They recently had a coffee truck event in the courtyard that was perfect for the cold weather morning. They have a gift wrapping station set up every day this month and it is a life saver.

The staff, especially Carla has gone above and beyond to make my move in experience a breeze! I love the location and all the amenities available at the community! For the price, the apartment is spacious, clean and has updated features. So far, so good!

Overall, the apartments are spacious, the location is amazing, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside is the neighbors. They can best be described as "frat bros" who party all the time. If beer pong by the pool is your jam, this place is great.

Top notch staff, not so top notch building/ownership. The folks there are kind, helpful and engaged, but most issue are at a higher level. Maybe in a year after Griffis has had a chance to correct their issues it will be great again. I'm just not willing to keep paying thousands for rent for that mess.

It has been a great experience, living downtown and being so close to so many amenities. The staff has been nothing but professional the entire time and I've spoken to multiple residents who have felt the same way. We all see an improvement over the short time Griffis has taken over the property.

We have loved living in Griffis (formerly Skye). Sure, they had a management change, which will always cause some tenants to get upset, but we think that they have handled it well. It seems like they had some issues with their 3rd party vendors for awhile (security & elevator), but it seems like those logistics are being worked out, and the actual management company & apartment complex has been great! We chose this apartment complex because we love the proximity to downtown & King Soopers, yet it's still a quiet neighborhood with free street parking. The inside is beautiful-tall ceiling, wood floors, washer/dryers, lots of light, etc. The building is built well, and we have never heard our neighbors, which is amazing! We also have a dog, and it's so nice that there's a dog park in the complex so that our pup can run around & get his energy out without having to walk a few blocks to a park. The team in the office has been WONDERFUL to work with, and they are so much of the reason that we love living here. They have taken their time to get to know us & our dog, and are always quick to answer questions. We recommend it!

Office Staff is extremely friendly. When issues arrive the maintenance department does a great job responding quickly. Many issues out of the offices control have come up but I think they have handled them with professionalism and diligence.

It has been a positive experience the last 5 years until new owner/management has taken over. Which I've had some concerns however it would appear that the new building owner and management is trying to correct some of the problems so I'm willing to stay and give them a chance.

Everything seemed to be fine, then everything started breaking (elevators, FOB, garage doors). I know some of these things are out of peoples control, and things were done, but my car was broken into, I had to start mazing my way though the complex to get to my apt. I hope things are on the up and up.

Overall, the community is great. People are nice, I love the layouts. The location is phenomenal. I have two complaints, safety, and equipment. When we moved in all people complained about was how they don't feel safe living here, there is a rash of break-ins and it has everyone on edge. Additionally, something is always broken. In our first week multiple things broke around the facility.

I have lived at Griffis Union Station for almost 4 years! In addition to being a great location and with great amenities, the maintence staff is incredibly responsive and thorough. The office staff is awesome! Carla is amazing and goes above and beyond to help residents and make everyone feel at home! I am so grateful she works at Griffis. Every apartment has its issues, but I appreciate how responsive and helpful Carla and the other Griffis employees are when needed!

Griffis Union station has the best staff, Carla P specifically goes above and beyond to help each resident feel at home. Over the past four years Carla has made my experience at Griffis enjoyable and worry free. The maintenance staff is also incredibly responsive and reliable. The dog park can be a little over crowded at times but not at night.

Are 0 stars on safety an option? Because thats what this complex deserves. I have lived in the complex for just a couple of months, but since the new management has taken over I feel completely unsafe. Break in after break in taking place in the "secure" garage, random people wandering the hallway and soliciting, 24 hour "security" sitting in their patrol cars on the phone while homeless people camp out in our cars in the garage. Management has done nothing to alleviate this situation rather than post on the community message board thanking residents for voicing their concerns and reminding people to take valuable items out of their cars. Every single day I read our community message board to find that another person's car has been broken into or some random person is wandering the building. I definitely do not recommend living here if you have any other available options (good thing there are about 50 new apartment buildings that have gone up in a 4 block radius).

We have been in or new apartment for almost a week and truly love the apartment itself! It is a bit more of a "party" atmosphere than we thought it would be, and our ground level unit is right where many tenant let there dogs out to pee... but we so far enjoy our apartment and don't have any complaints so far. Brianna has been really responsive with any questions or concerns we have had (like getting us new fobs and entering our names in the callbox when we noticed they hadn't been). So far so good!

Apartment maintenance was excellent & the office staff is great, however the community continues to break common area items causing management to be constantly fixing. General community are terrible pet owners. Pet waste is common in hallways, and directly outside entrances which causes all entrances to have a stale urine smell. I would not recommend living here unless you love to party and enjoy the smell of animal waste.
