The people at the leasing office are really friendly. I wish that there was another way to do to sign the lease papers other than on the computer, but I understand that's how everything is done now. I love the hardwood floors in my apartment the color is beautiful. I wish I had hot water for longer when I showered in the morning.

I had a tough move-in day. They definitely could have been more organized and it put a lot of stress on me because I had to run around to get things before I could move in and they didn't tell me about this stuff. Since I've moved in though I've absolutely loved it! It's a calm community and I love my apartment. If you have a choice get an apartment on the 3rd floor because the high rised ceilings really make the apartment feel bigger. I have a 1 bedroom so its not too big but it's perfect for me. Also the rent is reasonably priced and that's appreciated. The laundry room stays clean as well and the machines take card which is so helpful that I don't have to carry a bag full of quarters around. All around this is an excellent community to live in and I'm looking forward to not moving for awhile!!

In the 4 months my brother and I have lived here, we've had neighbors call the office with fake complaints, which the office then threatened to evict us over in our first month. We've had the cops called on us because my large dog barked, and this wasn't an hour long howl or anything, so the neighbors seem friendly here. There's constantly loud residents out in the streets at all hours. Most people don't pick up after their pets, either by choice or because half the days the apartment doesn't refill their poop baggies. And finally, after a little mix up with a number on our rent, they served us a paper saying we owe a late fee of 50 + 10 every day it's late, and if we don't get it in in three days, we will need attorney and court fees. They also tack on an extra $35 "Notice fee" which is ridiculous. So if you're ever a day late on rent, which we weren't, expect threats of legal action, eviction, and an $85+ late fee. Aside from that, when moving in we were given a move in date, then informed that they didn't have an apartment ready at that time, which forced me to live with a relative for a week. We also were unable to view the apartment we were getting and had to settle on viewing a smaller unit just to get a feel. They never sent us the proper emails we needed to sign and almost made it so we couldn't move in on our move in date, almost screwing us again. Finally, when we did get in, there is so much wrong. We all pay pest control, yet there are wasp nests all over near the doors. There is paint on appliances from the shoddy work. The kitchen drawers have wood shavings and dust and are just gross. And doors aren't set properly, so bedroom and bathroom doors have to be forced shut, and the balcony screen door falls off when you try to use it, which you can see from the amount of balconies that have the screen door leaning off to the side. This place is not worth all the headaches I've had, and for 1400 a month, I could have done better.

The Apartment manager changes every week and they will not respond to you when you leave voicemail or emails. I have tried contacting the corporate office GREYSTAR and they don't respond either... When you try to call the leasing office,99% of the time nobody answer. It was like this before I even moved in, I should had backed out then!!!

The maintenance crew and leasing office personnel here are very nice and helpful. When I requested maintenance they came a lot quicker than I expected and was able to immediately address the issue and had a solution. The village creek apartments themselves are nice I just wish there were multiple laundry facilities around the community instead of just the one by the leasing office. That would make our stay here much more enjoyable. Other than that I'm mostly content living here.

People don't pick up after their dogs. Terrible laundry facility with barely enough washers and dryers for the number of residents - I think it's something like 12 washers and dryers for the entire complex that has at least 10 buildings with 12 apartments each. The washers always smell and the dryers barely work. Plus the laundry facility is super far from half of the buildings so you have to drive to the leasing office but you have to park still kind of far away since the parking spots there are always full. The people who work and live here are fairly nice and the location is great. The price that rent is supposed to be is fine but it never ends up being the price that it's supposed to be since they love to tack on ridiculous fees.

My boyfriend and I moved in at the beginning of year and the only bad thing we have to say is, we pay 1,100 for a one bed with no washer and dyer. That's a bit too much. Other besides that, we never had anY problems, our neighbors are super cool, nice restaurants in the area. We have enjoyed living here. Perfect for beginners like us.

Look somewhere else. Griffis is right next door anf is better. More expensive, but worth it. I've had homeless people in the laundry room, I've left multiple messages that went unreturned, and more. I don't recommend this apartment to anyone. Greystar is a terrible company, watch out for them.

This place is an awesome place to live, the entire staff are super friendly from the office to the grounds keepers. The office does everything in its power to make sure there clients are happy.. There is a park right across the street for my kids to play in the pool is maintained and a gym to keep up on my fitness. I would recommend living here to anyone.

This place is great if you love paying 1300+ dollars for a 700 ft apartment. Amazing if you like walking across the neighborhood to do laundry in machines that are always dirty or broken. But fantastic if you enjoy cold hot tubs.

Village Creek offers great and affordable apartments, which are good for people trying to save money for a house of their own, like me! Plenty of privacy; I rarely hear my surrounding neighbors and the vaulted ceilings in the units make them that much more spacious. The staff is very friendly and always go out of their way to be accommodating to their renters. Located close to both I-25 and 36 exits, which makes getting to Denver and Boulder a breeze. The complex comes complete with a pool/jacuzzi and a decent fitness room. The only complaint I have about Village Creek is that the laundry facility is very far from my unit. It would be nice if they offered washer/dryers for each individual unit or had another location within the complex for residents living far from the leasing office. With that being said, they do offer about 30 of each washer/dryer in the laundry facility provided.

I have only lived at village creek for a couple weeks, but so far, I have enjoyed my stay. The staff is very friendly, and the amenities have been enjoyable. The location is prime for pretty much anything, and the rates are decent too. I would definitely recommend these apartments to a friend!

This is the worst office I have ever had to deal with. Because of the high vacancy rate, the office staff changes every 3 months, and they are increasingly rude. The maintenance staff, of no fault of their own, is so far behind that they are unable to get to your request within 2 weeks. I have lived here about 3 years, and it is so disappointing that they keep increasing the rent for things like "community water" or "community gas", that are not charges agreed upon in the lease. As far as safety, I have had several of the wooden steps outside my building break, only to not be replaced for sometimes up to a week, and my hallway lights are often SHUT OFF at night, leaving my to trip. I would never recommend Village Creek to ANYONE.

Very unhappy with Village Creek. Management is unwilling and "unable" to help with almost anything. I made the mistake of signing a lease with this place and am probably not going to be able to make it through my entire lease because of my dissatisfaction. Staff is all about money, your concerns are in one ear out the other. Don't make the same mistake I did.

This is a great place for first time renters who are young, like late teens early 20's. The good parts, the staff is mostly nice. The manager knows how to get things done, at least in my experience. Maintenance has been good for the most part. The bad parts, the apartments are small and overpriced. There is no place to park and you have to drag you laundry and groceries etc. from a long off parking space to your apartment. The way the buildings are shaped contributes a lot to this. If you are not on the 3rd floor expect to hear everything the people above you are doing. My upstairs neighbors are a nightmare. However we have one apartment on the first floor that a band practices out of at concert night volume so that's not really fun either. There are dogs barking all the time at all times. There is dog poop from said dogs everywhere. There is no landscape so to speak. Just lots of dog poop covered rocks. The snow does not get shoveled until someone slips on the ice it has become. I have never used the pool because even when it is open there is always a large family that takes over it for a birthday party or something for the day. There are not washer and dryers in the apartment so be prepared to either do your laundry at a local laundromat or at like two in the morning as all the machines are being used and residents love to leave their clothes sitting is said machines for hours on end. Half the time the machines don't work and they smell. The laundry room is gross and dirty (I feel sorry for the cleaning people who clean up after the residents).

Village Creek has been and is an enjoyable home community for me. My apartment is quiet, comfortable, private and secure. I like the management and maintenance staff and, for the most part, the vast majority of my neighbors. Other apartment properties charge less money, but for what you get, Village Creek is very hard to beat.

If your young and just want to get out on your own, this is the place. If you are older but need to find a lower rent then this is the place, just be prepared to lower your expectations drastically. Also, for the 2+ years I've lived here the hot tub has never worked, it's just a warm bath.

The loca management team is amazing. The corporate team/pwners are complete idiots. They are the reason for the shirty washing room. Katie is amazing and so is Calvin. Corporat is lucky...once again! But also corporate is too stupid to see they are adding to the inflation of the bubble in the market.

I have been at Village Creek since 2010. I really like my apartment with the exception that it doesn't have a washer and dryer. The laundry facility could be bigger, but at least they have one. The staff is great and the maintenance guys are super friendly. My water heater went out last summer and they had a new one installed immediately. As long as the rent prices stay decent, I will continue to live here until I can afford to buy a house. If you have a pet, they will like the trail behind the community, park across the street and the dog park. Huge perk of the location not to mention they are within walking distance of several bars, restaurants and the gas station. I hate to drive so it's nice to be able to walk when it's nice. Overall, I would recommend living here. It's honestly quiet in my building and I really like my neighbors. I give them two thumbs up! :)

Apartment is great, nice people, nice ammenities, in a nice location. Minor maintenance necessary to be comfortable. Definitely try to get the apartment with the most recent upgrades for the same low rate!

Good location. Management is mostly responsive when minor problems have occurred with other tenants (noise and trash mostly). Laundry and pool equipment are unreliable and take a long time to get fixed when broken. They've cut down some of the trees that provided a bit of privacy. We'll see if they are going to replace them in the spring...

I have lived here for over 2 years. I have never had an issues living here. The mgmt. staff has been exceptional since I've been here with minimal turnover which says a lot for the owners. I have had moments of complaining about other residents not taking pride in the community and the Mgmt Staff have been awesome in handling my pettiness. Maintenance staff always courteous and take care of any issues I have had in a timely manner. This is close to restaurants and good schools. NO apartment complex is perfect but you will find this community is quite and friendly. Check it out for yourself!!!

This is the worst apartment I've ever lived at. The office management is literally the rudest and most incompetent people I've ever dealt with (aside from the assistant manager who is very pleasant). This complex has lied to my face as to why I didn't receive a phone call back regarding an urgent matter. Expect to hear every move your neighbors make. Expect zero help from the office. Expect the pool to not be open until half way through the summer with absolutely no explanation as to why. Expect to have rent raised and ridiculous fees added on to each bill. Expect to pay a fee every month for common electric (pathway lights, etc. seriously who does that) Expect to find zero parking past 6pm. Expect for anything you call maintenance for to break again within a few months. They are currently offering a $250 referral bonus. Why does any apartment complex near Denver need to offer a referral bonus right now? That alone should tell you something. Just stay away - trust me on this. If I could rate this apartment 0 star in every category, I would, besides the creek and farm behind the complex which is quite pleasant.

They do not accept packages for residents at the office. Both UPS and FedEx have been turned away by the staff here. They claim to receive packages on their website as this is a standard service for an apartment complex anywhere in Denver and every other city I've lived in. This is poor customer service and reflects how little effort is expended on behalf of your residents. If you can't accept packages, then I doubt your staff can be counted on in a more demanding situation.
