I am staying at this place for 2 months now. The inside of apartment is renovated recently. Easy access to nearby stores. There's parking place available. The common passage isn't up to the mark and often smells a little. ( maybe a pet smell).

It is pretty clean, safety and wonderful environment. The staff are good and responsive. For shopping, we need to travel more. interstate links are good. Schools and hospital are little far. I could recommend this community to my friends.

I lived here for close to 2 years, and I have mostly nice things to say about this community and neighbors and the management. Rent is little bit on expensive side compared to other apartments within Wilmington-Newark area, but the good location; nice and well-maintained apartments and good service compensates for that. -> Location: Close to grocery stores, Concord mall, pharmacies, gas stations, schools, some corporate office, state park, Philly Airport, and most importantly I-95 exits. -> Community: People from many backgrounds (race, nationalities) live here without any issue. I am from India, and my family and I found many nice people here who became close friends to us. Management organizes various events throughout the year like Summer pool party, Halloween, Breakfast day, etc, and invites everyone to participate. -> Amenities: It has enough parking space (at least on Cloister Road), trash dumpsters, play-area for kids, tennis court (disappointed that it is very bad conditions, but serves as an extended play-area for kids and adults on positive side), a small gym, a swimming pool (open during summer only - of course). -> Management: Nice and courteous admin staff (Dawn M & Kerlene B); prompt maintenance service; Always had issues fixed within a day or too. -> Moving In/Out: Never had any problem while moving in and out. It was my first time in US when I moved in 2014, and I was little anxious when I moved-in, but the entire application and moving-in process was quick and easy. When I moved out in 2016, got my deposit refunded by a check within 4 weeks. Overall, I was happy with my stay at Top of the Hill, if I return to Wilminton, I will not think twice to rent here.

It's a beautiful community, and I can see it will be even more beautiful in the summer when the trees turn green. I like how closed it is to work and the floor plan I got - a separate kitchen with a window rather one open to the living room. In general, I like my new place.

Top of the Hill has been a great experience so far and I intend on being very happy here. First of all, the move in process was very easy. I was able to get a very fair security deposit and I got a rental quote at a good time. Great value and location for a clean apartment. I have a modern kitchen and bathroom, spacious floor plan, and a balcony with a view of the river.

The office staff and workers are polite, friendly and do a good job. Work requests are done quickly and correctly. I have never had to have any worker return because a job was not done correctly. There are several supermarkets and stores near the apartment complex.

The parking situation is really horrible. Every thing else regarding maintenance and the noise levels are great. The parking situation is forcing me to consider moving when my lease expires, which I really don't want to move-- unfortunately!!

Just moved in so cannot really comment too far. The grounds are very well kept. Am excited to use the pool and grill in the upcoming summer. The staff was very helpful while preparing to move in with making sure all of my questions were answered.

Area is normally quiet, neighbors are "mind your business" type or maybe the diverse ethnicity causes people to keep to themselves. They allow dogs and pets which is a plus, but do not use pet friendly products (winter - salt). Typical apartment parking, rules not a geared to. Alot of letters threatening things although nobody seems to be held accountable. It's not a bad place to live but it's not great either.

It's a nice place maintenance was quick and professional the apartment is very nice and clean neighbors seem to be nice seems like you can park by your apartment most of the time the grounds around the apartments are seem to be kept clean of bushes all trimmed it seems like it's a nice place and I should enjoy my stay here.

I stayed here for a year and found this community very good. Though apartments are old but they are in good condition. All the office staff and maintenance staff were very helpful prompt in fixing any issues which we had reported during our stay. The community is kept neat and clean by staff.I loved all the events like pool party, back to school party for kids etc organized by the staff. My overall stay in Top Of The Hill Apartment was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this community.

Staff maintenance is very good. Everything else is good. Less Noise, security is ok. Neighbors are fine. Ceilings are of cement which is good. Overall it's a good community except that parking is very inconvenient and parking spaces are very small

The neighborhood is peaceful and green. I feel, I'm fairly connected to the city as everything starting with grocery, school, pizza corner, state park pub and dine ins are within 2 miles radii. Top of the hill is definitely the place to STOP, LOOK & LEASE
