Just moved in a week ago and I'm already in love with this place! My neighbors are so nice and friendly! The gated community is a PLUS. Office staff are so sweet and understanding and accommodating as well.

Not at all what we expected. Location is great however other than that DO YOUR RESEARCH if you are thinking about this place. Parking is very limited, unless you pay 25.00 for a reserved spot, buildings are very old, windows/doors need to be replaced. Poor drainage due to debris growing out of gutters. Check your HVAC system prior to move in, check your bathroom fan. Nothing but one maintenance issue after another in our unit. Electrical problems, water heater was replaced, mold on walls needed to be cut out and removed. The entire stairwell in building F had to be removed and replaced due to rotted wood. Other tenants have complained about bugs, our building was tented for termites 2 days after we moved in. Lot of additional fees on top of rent, admin. fee, pest control fee, trash fee, LOOK ELSEWHERE.

They've renovated the outside but not the inside. The price isn't worth the value. The AC is dry. There is dog crap everywhere. Renovations occured and rent went up to justify new roofs mandated by insurance, new paint, landscaping, and pool accessories.

Enjoy talking to the office and maintenance staff. Most of the tenants in the complex are friendly also. Kind of a pain right now with all the construction (upgrades) going on but the end result will be great.

So far so good. The move is as expected which is great. I have been in the apartment to make an accurate assessment on. This review will be on-going. Though so far everything is fine. The convenience to work, to the interstate is a big factor in selecting and Palms of Clearwater fit the bill.

We have been doing maintenance request since the day we moved in, the stove didn’t work for example. This is our third month and we had to send already almost ten requests, beside that the apartment is infested with TERMITES, we spoke to the office and after sending lots of emails we were told they were coming yesterday June 13 but the company came and did treated all the apartments except ours, he clearly said we were not on the list so at this point it is obvious that we are not being taken seriously, we kindly asked for a discount on the rent since dealing with this pest is horrible they come out of the walls, we vacuum everyday but they are everywhere and because of this our electric bill is higher, our furniture is real wood too so we will lost that too but it seems the management doesn’t care we were told we are not going to be compensated for that no discounts even if we pay on time and we have been dealing with these bugs for a whole month. To live like this is depressing, this termites appear everywhere even on top of the bed on the pillows so we cannot sleep well, and we can’t turn lights on after 6pm because they start coming out when they see the light. We are very clean and still had to deal with cockroaches that are a nightmare, pest control is supposed to come once a month but only came the first month and never came back.. Another problem is the mold and a leaking on the ceiling that created a huge hole and here in Florida with the rain we had to put a container to collect the water for more than a week, it was repaired but it is pealing again. The bath tub is pealed since day one and we were told that was going to be fixed and it keeps in the same condition. There is a metallic lid on the closet that covers an area and it fell off, it was repaired but still too many headaches and we don’t have where to go. Also you have to be careful because there is dog poop everywhere you walk in the complex unfortunately people don’t pick up.. And It is not safe to leave anything in your car, somebody broke the window of my neighbor’s car and stole her purse it was in the daytime. Every weekend police is here for no reason, gate is usually open after hours people that don’t live here are coming in and out from the streets. Overall the apartments are in really bad condition, I will attach photos. Our mistake was not seeing the reviews first so don’t make the same mistake we did.

Lived here for 12 months and don't have a single negative thing to say about the place. Great location, pool area is beautiful and the maintenance responses were always quick. David and Nina in the office are some of the nicest people I've ever met! Enjoyed my time here.

Nothing but good. I love my apartment. Maintenance is great. Like I'm living my vacation. Great place to retire. I may be here awhile. With all the madness that surrounds Gulf to Bay these apartments are a quiet enclave. You'd never know it was so busy right outside the community. Everything is convenient. Publix, Walmart, all of the major stores are either right here or 10 minutes away.

It has been good so far. any problems that have come up have been pretty quickly addressed. the only issue that i have is sometimes it is hard to get a hold of staff through the phone, but maybe email or other methkds are more workable which i havent tried yet.

I live at The palms for almost one year. The community is very well maintained. Beautiful landscape, nice and clean pool and gym. I feel secure living over here. The only thing I don't like is they don't have assigned parking for the residents, you can park your car in any parking space. If you want a assigned parking spot you need to pay $25.00 monthly. I don't pay to have a assigned parking spot because I think that I already pay rent and I shouldn't have to pay to have my parking space. When I come home late at night some times there is no parking space to park your car. You have to drive around the buildings looking for parking space. Another they I had to park my car on a handicap spot thanking the risk to be towed or getting a parking ticket. Luckily I didn't get one.
