I recently visited The Palms when looking to relocate. David was very friendly and helpful. The area was very clean and loved all the extras they have to offer. Not looking to move for a while but will definitely be back.

I recently went to The Palms of Clearwater and looked for an apartment. I really loved the layout of the 2/2. Lots of closet space and was really layed out nicely. The ceramic tile throughout is beautiful. The pool area is awesome and the fitness room is nice. There is so much to do there. The office staff was very professional and helpful. Davis showed me around and new everything about the property. I will be renting here.

I've been a resident for a little over a year. I absolutely love it here. Between my apartment being the perfect size, the amazing pool, the dog park, and the incredible office staff (especially David) I have no intentions of moving any time soon. The location is great because no matter what you're looking for, theres always something to do being only minutes away from the beach, the causeway, and the mall. The residents here are great as well...Mostly dog parents who are always friendly and say hello to your fur baby!

I moved from out of state to Florida and searched for apartments and as soon as I met and spoke with David Garcia at the Palms of Clearwater, I know that would be my new home. I have been here over a year and it has always been great service and I am always greeted with a smile when I go in to talk to anyone in the office.

We liked it a lot but there are people who throw trash to the floor. The service is excelente. We do not like that sometimes the gates are left open on weekends and it has been seen that people do not live here.

First off I am using an alias email and name as I still live in The Palms of Clearwater. However I will tell you the Good, Bad and Ugly about this Apartment Complex. I will start with the Good. The Maintenance People are super and usually very fast at getting things fixed. Now for the Bad.. To start with you there is no outgoing mail box on the complex as the post office removed it due to it being broken in to to many times. "Can't they just put one in the Clubhouse?" Pest control comes in to your place whenever they want and there is not even a 1 day notice. There rent is way to high for what you get. They claim because they have researched the area and that is the going prices, when a block away the prices are around $200 cheaper. Allot of the tenants have moved out because when renewal time comes around I have heard from some people the jacked them from $30 to $200 not sure why such a difference but heard, if you complain about something you get flagged. At the moment they do not even have a manager any longer and this month you won't even know what your rent is suppose to be so you either have to wait until the first of the month to find out or pay online which cost a fee to do. The staff can't even tell you what it is as their locked out of their own system. Now for the Ugly. The complex / structure is over 30 years old and being which is somewhat normal for the surrounding apartments, however you will notice it in the following months or even if you open the A/C closet, pretty nasty. If you do not keep your A/C unit set for 79 or less you place will fill with mold very quickly. Now the part that is most bothersome and I'm not looking forward to is when Spring kicks in you will start to get German Cockroaches and American Cockroaches and Earwigs and when your in bed and they start crawling on your face you'll try all kinds of things to get rid of them, unfortunately they have built up an immunity "mostly the German Roaches" and you will tell the staff, which send an exterminator over but non the less they keep coming out of the walls. I've only lived in one other complex in my life that had this serious issue which was in Colorado. Now of course this is Florida and I've lived in five other apartment complex's and haven't had anything happen near what you will see at this place. I wish I could say something really good about this the complex but the staff have their hands tied by the complex owners which are all about how much money they can stick you for. I suggest going about 5 to 15 miles north and you will find better deals and apartments that don't have these issues. I have read all the reviews hear and if you see a five star I can promise it's a fake.

The price and the size of the facility were both very good, staff was helpful, and process was easy. I liked that it was closing to shopping and my office. I would recommend this facility to my friends and family.

This is a beautiful complex that is in a wonderful location. Only a short drive to Clearwater Beach. This is a very pet friendly apartment complex, there are many dogs. If you do not like dogs, this is not the place for you. Many families with children. Price is fair for location. Publix, Walmart, sams club and many restaurants and malls very close. Easy to navigate area. Traffic nearby can be a pain. The staff in the office is very friendly and helpful. Pool is beautiful. Quiet neighborhood for the mosf part

There were a few issues upon move in but management took care of them right away. Community is clean and taken care of. Apartments are a little older but management has done what they can by updating the units.

Just leased an apartment at the palms of Clearwater and I couldn't be happier. I love the property and how close and convenient it is to my work and shopping. Being new to the Clearwater area I felt this was the most centralized location for me and my job.

Not even been here a month and so far I'm really enjoying living here. Residents are either friendly or keep to themselves which is fine. Had to call maintenance my first night but they responded as soon as they opened the next morning seeing as I said on the voicemail it wasn't an emergency. Parking is lot well lit at night and the gates close after the office is closed so you must use a key or have a resident code to call and the resident has to buzz you in. We have a hot tub. Trash compacts is in the very back of the community but I think that helps so there isn't a dumpster in every complex smelling.

I was shown an immaculate upgraded model of the mariner apartment. I went with a downgraded version of the Westwind because it was only 10$ a month more expensive than the upgraded Mariner. But I wasn't prepared for just how much worse it was. Coming in, the floor was so filthy, it turned your feet black. All the shelves were filled with dust. The stove wasn't working, so I wasn't able to use it until I called maintenance. The cabinets all had water damage and black mildew in them. The blinds in my room weren't properly attached, so they fell off and hit me in the face when I went to pull them up. On top of that, there are some serious design flaws in the apartment model I entered. The cabinet next to the stove isn't attached to the wall. The dish washer scrapes the wall when it opens. You can't open the pantry door while the dish washer is open. And it looks like the pantry door was more of an afterthought, because the baseboard ends where the pantry door closes. Speaking of closing bathroom door doesn't close all the way on the first tug. The balcony won't lock unless you're pulling it. Maintenance fixed my blinds, but that was about all that they did. I spent the first few days of my move in scrubbing the floors and cabinets. All in all, a pleasant experience.
