These apartments were the first I found when my husband and I moved from out of state. They were the only apartments I moved into without reviewing first due to lack of time so I didn't know what to expect. Move in process was very easy, not stressful at all. The manager at the time was really nice and helped me out a lot. Ive been here almos a year and not once have I had to call maintenance to fix something in my apt. The grounds are kept neat and clean and the noise level is minimum. We have friendly neighbors and the new staff at the leasing office is very friendly and willing to help you out. David is exceptionally nice and always has a smile in his face when you walk in and is ready to help. He has gone over and beyond to meet my expectations and I would definitely reccomend this place to friends.

The Palms of Clearwater has been a very nice place to live. I've been here for two units and and about six years. As far as apartments can go, The Palms of Clearwater has exceeded my and my wife's expectations. The grounds always look nice and the leasing staff has been helpful.

Recently moved to the area and found this place have great value, very clean, and quiet.The move in process was went quit well, not the usual stress that comes along with moving The amenities as far as the pool/hot tub and gym are very nice. The front gate was broken for a few days upon move in but was quickly fixed. And the light outside of the complex could take a long time to turn green. Would recommend to a friend.

Nice complex, gates do not work all the time, which concerns us as we see people walking into complex as if they didnt live there. grounds are very nice. The traffic light it oget out o complex is very long if you ar turning left...seems this shoulbe be addressed with the DOT.

Great value, brand new appliances, counters, and cabinets. Very clean, brand new carpet, and paint, move in process was very easy and staff made a usual stressful day much easier. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Pool and fitness center is nice ad well

Have been at this complex since Dec of 2003, except for 10 months then came back.I have seen a lot of good changes over the years.The current management team is the worst so far.I'm glad to be moving.Too many different people in office and Manager hard to get in touch with.Also too many water piping issues with the building we live in lately.

Great! So far the neighborhood is great, & so are my neighbors & staff. The office building is beautiful & well kept. I recently took my son to the pool area, it was nice & clean with lots of seating. We had a blast! I'm looking forward to trying out the on site gym.

Move in was very easy. Did have an apartment further from the road originally, and would have preferred due to the loud traffic and people entering the gate. Gate doesn't always work. Gate key card doesn't work. Living room light does not work.

Close to everything. Good area. On the high end when it comes to price but its worth it. Not far from SPC college and clearwater high school. Very quite. Fast maintenance respond. Pest control is a six out of ten. Washer and dryer hook ups. Nice pool area.

Overall the experience has been good in the previous unit that we live at. But since we moved into the new unit it has been horrible. Also the tenants in unit j155 are always slamming the door. The situation is annoying and out of control. They have parties there and sometimes is 1-2 am and they're slamming the door and talking loud in their balcony.

Revolving staff. The ones in there now are not good or even cordial sometimes. Pool always closed due to illegals inviting all of the families in the neighborhood over to swim on weekends. Very small gym with no good equipment and the remotes for the tvs are always being stolen. VERY high water bills. Lots of drugs and drunks. Dog crap all over the place. Stay away. VERY OVERPRICED for what you get.

We are very happy that we moved to The Palms. We really enjoy the pool area and fitness center. The maintenance staff is quick to respond to requests. The quality of the upgrades are okay but they could have done a more thorough upgrade. It is a pet friendly place which is super important to us!

Have lived here since Feb 2015. Initially everything seemed great but has deteriorated as the months progressed. Gated community is not that at all, as the "in" gate has been broken and tied open for over a month. Piles of discarded furniture provide the view out of our lanai. Tenants do not take their dogs to the 2 dog park areas provided, instead allowing their pets to defecate on the grass at the entrance to our apartment. The Maint. staff have been great, especially Frank, who always is right there to handle any/all issues from Termites to leaking water heater. This was our first apartment in Florida after relocating from NY, but will not be the place we call home.

The complex itself looks nice during the day. The gate is too loud at night, the roof leaks when it rains. Neighbors in the complex sell drugs as well as do them in the parking lot. Would not recommend paying $825 for this maybe $60. Not worth the money.

The leasing and maintenance staff are so professional and helpful. This move as to have been the easiest move that I have had in a while. I am twelve minutes away from work and less than five from Saint Petersburg College. I love my new apartment and look forward to the remainder of my lease here at The Palms of Clearwater.

Love new apartment here and the office people have been great. Maintenance guys was awesome helping me with throwing away my boxes. Love the shade trees and it's close to work. Vey happy here!

This was a horrible experience of infestation of roaches and bedbugs from the beginning of the move in. My children developed horrible rashes from this. They sent exterminators after my constant file of complaint. The exterminators would take no action. They would act like they did their job which they never did. The apartment was dirty when we moved in and I had to clean dead roaches and the poop out of the kitchen cabinets. Each time walking into the kitchen there were roaches running across the floor, ceiling, walls, in and out vents, and piling up on each other on counter tops. It was a nest in the kitchen which the apartment manager denied. Some of the staff was very sweet and honest. The apartment manager do not follow through making sure the previous damage apartment infestation is clear to move in. They tend to rush the next resident in facing the same dilemma. Sad to say such a beautiful outside environment that does not match their low standards of hygiene.

This review is purely my opinion, and opinion only of this property: I lived in this dump for few months, and it was a horrid experience. The AC vents were covered in black mold that was confirmed with a culture of the growth I did. They refused to properly fix this issue because of cost I am sure. Tried to treat me like I was an idiot and tell me it was just dust.... I was constantly sick there due to mold I am sure. A huge trailer park is right on the back side of it. By the dumpster there was, and still is routinely a pile of garbage furniture and trash that would stay there for days and sometimes weeks; this poses a huge safety issue for children. Maintenance is terrible, they took over a week to replace a simple door seal that was letting in bugs, dirt, and letting out massive amounts of cold air; every time they did the landscaping I would have a bunch of dirt and grass inside my apartment. They were fully aware that this was happening and still took over a week to do literally 5 min of work. When I first moved in there were 4 light bulbs that were burnt out, small issue but shows the lack of attention to detail. Neighbors are not very friendly for the most part, there are only a handful that would speak to you with a smile. Parking is horrid also, I would have to park probably 50 yards away from my apt a lot of the times. There is a lot of areas in the landscaping that is just dirt and rocks; by rocks I mean garbage rocks that look like they were left over from some construction. Walls are paper thin. I could hear the people up stairs flush their toilet. The fixtures in the apartment are total crap. The bath tub is painted, yes PAINTED, cheap pain at that. It would peel and bubble. You have to stay out of the apt for hours for them to re paint them. Dish washer is bottom of the line models that make the dishes almost dirtier than when you put them in. Lastly, this issue is going on right now. I know someone that is having a issue with their neighbor down stairs. Management refuses to do anything about it even though there is a police report filed and they are in fear of their safety and the safety of their child..... Property manager won't even tell her who his boss is or the name of the company they work for, sounds legit right? BEWARE, notice how every site has either no written reviews, or just a couple that are pretty much 5 stars???? Shady place and would never tell anyone to live at that dump. BEWARE!!!

Very nice community, but the surrounding neighborhood that visible from my second floor apartment is quite loud at times (dogs barking, children and people yelling) and displeasing to look at. It is not the best view available, but I know other units would have less of a nuisance.

Love working out and watching my show after work. I like living here and think everyone who works here is very nice. I will be staying another 10 months. I wish the pool was heated but the hot tub heats me up too. I have had to other co-workers move in too. We all enjoy it.
