Don't be fooled people. The bad ratings are real. I'd say that's a sign!
I have lived in many apartment complexes, but have never experienced such shameless management. They literally treat their tenants like trash and get away with it. They do not care about their customers, and I would place them in the same category of car salesmen, they act like they care, but do not really. They just want to screw you over. I will definitely be letting everyone know just how unhappy I am with this people and place. I knew the staff wasn't the best, but now I can see for myself with all those good FAKE reviews that they are posting, and sometimes rude, looking for grammars mistakes? LOL. A prospective tetant who had visited the place CAN post here her/his opinion! Poor, poor, unorganized and RUDE and uneducated(literally talking) management/staff. You would think a good management would strive to make their customers happy, and with this many unhappy people, I would say that is a sign. Because I will not renew in a few months, I am looking for apartments and found this website. Don't be fooled people. The bad ratings are real. And there are tons of other apartments in the area, in better conditions o are Brand New. I am a current tenant.

An Awesome Place to Live!!!
I have lived at the Reserve for about two years now, and have not had any problems whats so ever. The office staff is always helpful and any thing that I need fixed gets done very quickly. I love this place, I have lived in appartments that are real dumps but this place is tops. I love the manager there, she is so helpful and wants you to be happy. They even encourage me when I am in the fitness center, I love this home and dont plan on moving any time soon. Its affordable, seeing as how i am a college student, and its the best on southside.

Great Neighbors , horrible everything else!
Ive lived here for about 5 months now. This is my fiance and mines first place together and the place felt very comfortable. The office staff seemed more than friendly and still are except for one of the girls and the fact that NOTHING gets done! The maintance guys are great people but are definately in the WRONG line of work. We have had multiple problems and the big ones always take forever for maintance to respond and multiple trips before they claim the problem is fixed. Then you go to use this appliance be it your dryer , a.c or electrical outlet and you come to find out the problem is still not resolved! There has been more than one occasion when we have requested a date for maintance to come and resolve the problem and they have never showed nor had the courtesy to call and inform you of this! Any small request we have put in for new window screens (because we have none) or cut down trees/ shrubbs that were located in the back yard to be picked up have had to be requested atleast once a month since our move in date and have still not been resolved. Our electric bill is outragous but I guess that is to be expected from apartment accomplex's that are built in 1920!!! Some of the previous reviews I have read mentioned rats and tons of roaches! Ive not seen any rats and as far as the roaches you have an occasional problem with the big ones but so far our unit has not been over runned by them. You do however have cats crawling all over the place. For a while we kept hearing foot steps all over the roof and one night when coming home we relised it was actually cats running up there! They have a dog park and a childrens park but both the dog run and childrens play ground is over runned with dog crap! I can see no one wanting to take care of the dog run but the CHILDRENS PLAY GROUND?!?! Ive been wanting to write this review but have given the place the benefit of the doubt. However realizing today maintance blew off there deadline once again by 3 days and have not called that was just the icing on the cake. I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy. Between the 2 of us we have lived at 2 other bh management locations and they were great , this place just needs new staff that actually cares and gets the job done!

best maintenance staff EVER!
i have never lived in a community where the maintenance staff has been so helpful. patrick and joe are ALWAYS available to fix emergency issues, and if they can't fix something immediately, they find the right person to do it. i was having a problem with my thermostat in the cold weather, and I called around 8pm. By 8:30pm my thermostat was working great, and I was thanking maintenance for their prompt arrival. This IS an apartment community, so I'm not sure what some of the other people on here are expecting. Bugs & stray cats are not consequence of poor management or staff, but a consequence of dirty tenants. And it is something you will find in any apartment community because sadly there are just some incredibly dirty people in this world. However, it's been my personal experience that the dirty tenants who refuse to take care of their apartment do not last long here. So if you're a clean, pays on time tenant then you will love it here. But if you are one of those people who doesn't clean, can't be bothered to pay on time, or let your dog mess everywhere, you will be miserable because office staff won't put up with it and you will be forced to leave. happy home hunting! hope this review helps some.

Renewing my lease, third year in a row.
I have lived at the reserve, coming on my third year. I love it! The fitness center is open 24 hours, (a major perk if you don't have time to get in a workout before work) the pool is always clean and readily available, and best of all it feels like you live in a house, NOT an apartment. The floorplans are spacious, and laid out in a way that makes it easy to decorate. I love that I have no upstairs neighbors I have to deal with stopping around at all hours of the night. I reccomend this apartment to everyone, especially thos who enjoy privacy, and a quiet, clean community. As for the people who are complaining about bugs, it's funny because bugs only come to where there is left out food, etc. Maybe they should try cleaning?

Good Place to live
My girlfriend and I are on our second lease at Avistele, and we really like it. The first year we were in a 2/2 Legacy in the North Village, and now we live in a 1/1 Den in the South Village. We've been very happy with our experience here. Office staff has always been nice and courteous, and we've not had any problems with maintenance or anyone else. The neighborhood is nice, generally quiet. Great for the price and location. I would definitely recommend the community to anyone looking for quiet place on the southside.

Do not recommend
At first it seemed good for the price but the maintenance staff is slow and never fixed things the first time. Expect to wait about 3-5 days for any requests to get looked at. On my 5th or 6th request (3rd request for one item because they came out and said it looks 'normal'. I don't think your A/C should be making noise so loud you can hear it throughout the apartment, that's not normal!) That and I lived next to the pool and the kids absolutely scream from 9am-9pm. Thankfully when school started up I thought it would quiet down. NO! The neighbors in my particular area like to carry on loud arguments. This is nothing the complex can do though so beware sometimes you do pay for your neighbors when price shopping. The lawn maintenance likes to come up to your door with a leaf blower at 7:45am on occasion, that's pretty annoying especially considering they didn't cut the lawn (that happened twice). They seem nice if you call but I don't think they intend to really fix anything , just managing complaints. What is funny is most people write reviews when they are annoyed or are whiny people. I'm really laid-back. I am modifying my previous review because I wrote all these things when I had only lived there 2 months. Hope to help people avoid this place. It's cheap and safe, that's the only two things it has going for it. YES there are ROACHES.

LONGEST, MOST HONEST REVIEW!!! PERIOD.
We moved in July 2009 and never called maintenance for an issue, until around October 2009, when the contractors Avistele hired to stabilize our AC unit on the hill cut open our screen on the back patio to put there dirty equipment out of the rain. How unprofessional of Avistele and the contractors, I mean I was home while they did it, the worker or Avistele couldn't have notified me to leave the back patio screen door unlocked or at least attempted to knock on my front door??? We told the head maintenance supervisor and the front office about the issue, and they shrugged it off and never fixed it the rest of the time we lived there. The ventilation in these apartments are horrible, especially in the winter, if you don't want your bill to sky rocket, get a bear skin!! Now, in some of the apartments, it takes FOREVER for the water to heat up and when we moved in our faucets were backwards, turned on cold it got hot, and vice versa. That is minor, but very annoying!! WE left one month early before our lease was up, which we moved out June 2010 and just found the move-out process with them expensive and the expectations outrageous. For example, if you didn't clean burners they would charge you like $15 per burner or something, I mean if you don't pay the move-out cleaning fee of $165, you will get charged because no one can clean to "their" standard. Next, we had the carpet company come out multiple times due to Avistele's berber carpet easily collecting dirt and they NEVER cleaned the carpet. Every time they came, our apartment carpet looked the same and our house smelled of dirty water!! Come to find out every time we returned the carpet was ripping at the seams at some of the doors and you could tell the carpet company tried to hide the issue. Funny thing was my dog noticed it and brought the ripped up carpet to our attention. You think Avistele CARES heck no. These apartments are over priced and they trick you when you move in like yea, low move-in cost and they fix up the place real nice, throw in a little gift bag.Oh lets not forget the "ONE" salt water pool, which is the only clean one, because the rest are surrounded by trees and always dirty or closed. But that salt water pool is a joke, I saw someone pouring Morton's salt to give the pool some ZING!! LOL When you move out that's where they get all their fees back!! I remember them coming out three times for a pre-move out inspection and just handing us a list of fees and expectations, which is understandable. BUT, if your inspecting the place to see the damage, why did they always fail to mention any issues, that could be fixed by the tenants before move out. I know this is a business, but some ethics have to come into play, I mean we paid our rent on time all while we were there, and were GREAT tenants, but just ridiculous how they treat good "CUSTOMERS", there is no common courtesy to tell someone "hey this might be an issue at move-out, it might cost such and such to fix" that way maybe people can plan for unexpected expenses. Please don't fall for the smiles and the "WINE-DOWNS" !!! This place is a trap and you can do better as far as cost, quality, and customer service. Had we known the place was going to be like this, we would have moved closer to the town center and coughed up the extra cash for true luxury. Also, the Property is FLEA infested and dog owners, including leasing staff and maintenance, walk their pets and don't pick up after them. UTTERLY DISGUSTING!!Ohhh lets talk breed restrictions, they swear they have a list, but I can't tell. There is people, with Rottweilers, Pit bulls, German Shepherds, Huskies, Great Danes, and Dobermans, and the funny thing is some of the leasing staff and maintenance have these "RESTRICTED" breeds. I'm a dog lover, I'm not hating on any of the breeds, just in my opinion, get whatever dog you want and don't tell them a f*&^%*^ thing!! ------- the property manager and everyone in the office except --- come off stuck up and they always have an attitude. Avistele seems like a B community, but they treat their residents, especially "US" like dirt. I mean they seem so aggressive with some of their residents for no reason. For example, you walk-in and just ask a question about move-out and they act unsure or give a response with attitude and are unclear. Basically, Don't move here, just take your money and head closer to the Town Center, you'll find the rent there around the same price and true "PREMIUM" apartments.

Worst complex EVER!!!
I just moved out of Avistele at Deerwood (THANK GOD!!!!) and would never refer anyone there! When we first moved in we LOVED it. The staff was nice, the townhouse was big, and it just seemed like we'd enjoy it there. WELL then things started going downhill.... I noticed a bunch of my screens were missing, so I called maintenance, they came out and only fixed two of them, out of the FIVE that were missing. We were told we had new carpets, I believe what they meant to say was we had FLEA INFESTED carpets! We had to treat the carpets ourselves and steam clean them. A lot of the electrical outlets did not work for the whole year we lived there. Our back porch storage closet roof was caving in, a man came to my door and said they were going to fix it, but never came back. Our carpet started to pull from the seams, so I called maintenance. Maintenance said that they'd have the membership office call us about it because they can't fix carpet. 3 months went by and no one called. I called them and talked to the new property manager, -------, who is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, and she gave me an attitude and said it was because of my dog and she'd have someone come look at it. A month went by and no one came.... I finally went to someone else in the office and they had the carpet company come out the next day and say there was no way this was from our dog. I went to the office that day and told ------- how upset I was that she dismissed it saying it was due to our dog, she had the nerve to lie to my face and say I told her not to even bother with it. WHY ON EARTH WOULD I CALL ASKING YOU TO HAVE SOMEONE LOOK AT IT, THEN SAY DON'T BOTHER?! This all happened 3 days before we were supposed to be out, and she had the AUDACITY to hand me a paper showing everything we had to clean or we'd get charged! 3 DAYS TO CLEAN EVERYTHING! I found out later that they're supposed to give that to you 2 months in advance... and they never sent it to us. I would NEVER recommend anyone to this apartment. Apartment Selector told us they won't refer anyone to this place either. Don't waste your time or money. They say their members are their highest priority, but they don't live up to it. They treat us all horribly. Oh and Psbtw- Don't call maintenance to borrow a ladder, I called four times and never got one.

Not worth the time, money, or hassle...DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!
My wife and I moved into Avistele at Deerwood in August of 2009. When shown the apartment and the community, I was thrilled! I thought it was very nice and seemed to be very quiet. Within about 3 weeks of living here our garbage disposal went out. I called the 24 Hour Maintenance Hotline to address this issue and was told someone would be right out. Well it had been 2 weeks and still no one had been out to fix our disposal. We could not run water in that part of the sink because the water would not drain and it started to stink. I finally called the maintenance hotline again and they finally had someone come out about a week later. Then about a week after this I noticed our backporch roof was beginning to cave in, literally! I went straight to the front office about this situation, being as it could be dangerous, and they told me to call the "great" maintenance hotline. The guy on the phone told me this would be a construction project and it would probably take around a month to have someone come out. And also, he didn't feel this was a priority over other issues in the community. Really? My roof is caving in and that's not a priority? Well a month rolled around and nothing happened. I called again and the same thing, nothing happened! Called yet again, and nothing. It has now been 7 months since we've moved in and our back porch ceiling is still caving in. I can't even enjoy my backporch because of this. And as if this wasn't bad enough, come to find out the hot water heater in the apartment above me has been leaking for who knows how long. I went into my storage closet/hot water heater closet on the back porch and noticed water standing in the closet. I turned the light on and looked up and my ceiling in there looked about ready to give at any moment. I immediately called my neighbor over, who works for the maintenance crew, and he called someone else over. I was told that room would have to be gutted and checked for mold. Well it's now been 3 days and no one has been back! And guess what, the ceiling in the closet finally caved in. I now have a storage closet FULL of drywall...MOLDED DRYWALL!! So there's no telling how long my wife and I, and our dog, have been breathing in this mold. And I've been to the front office about this twice now and still nothing has been done. I'm telling you, these are just a few things I've had go wrong here at Avistele. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME MOVING HERE!

There was always some leakages in the apartment while I was ther for 3 months. Rain pours into the bedrooms......after calling Avestele...they maintained....but t hey used my power for heavy blowers....and refused to pay the power bills ( around $100 ....I paid by my own ). I have given the prior notice before moving out...they have not registered in the officce properly...and called me after 3 months vacating the apartment and asked $130 as termination fee. Please dont choose this Apartment. The Management is not good and co operative.

Great place
I do not know what that other person is talking about. This is the best community I have ever lived at. The staff, especially the manager and head of maintenance are awesome. It seems like all the staff get along really well and they enjoy working there and enjoy making the place the best it can be. Tonight I went to a holiday expo in the clubhouse. It was really nice and all the management staff were there socializing with the residents. My apartment had a leaky window, but it was fixed right away, and other than that there have not been any issues. It doesn't feel like a typical apartment, it feels more like a condo/town-home community since there are no "stacked" apartments. Good luck finding a new apartment! Don't beleive all the negative stuff you read, I think some people use this as a sounding board when they are mad rather than making comments to help people looking for an apartment.

I LOVE It Here!
I moved in late summer, and have a few minor issues, but nothing that you wouldn't have anywhere else. The staff was very responsive to my work order request and the office staff was very nice and friendly. I have had friends over and they all wish they had moved here. They also have monthly functions which are always fun. I love it here!

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!
Do not move in here, save your money and stress. The place is infested with Palmetto bugs, the electric for a two bedroom runs around $120, probably because they are older but still, we paid less then that when we were living in a 3 bedroom condo. The management does not work with you on any issues and they have the never thier fault mentality always quick to rebut anything you say. They are misleading with thier prices and frankly just overall service sucks! Home is supposed to be my santuary but in this case dealing with all these issues its turned into another headache, thats why we are breaking our lease and paying $1800 just to get out of here plus the 60days notice you have to give them. All in all this organization got us pretty good so beware of AVISTELE at Deerwood who used to be Villages of deerwood, same rotten company just a different name!!!!!!

*****HORRIBLE*****
The office has no idea whats going on in this place and if you have a maintenance request good luck because it will never get fixed the maintenance staff is not friendly and showed up at my apartment after hours drunk. I will not renew my lease and hope you look at other options before renting here because if somethings broken it will not get fixed god luck. This place has roaches no matter what building your in and plan on having a hundred stray cats all over the place. I like the actual apartment itself but maintenance wont fix anything and the bug problem is horrible.

Great place to call "Home".
I have lived at Avistele since June 2007 and I love it here. It is quiet. I have great neighbors that are respectful of others and that makes life here at Avistele very nice. The staff in the office has changed since first moving in. Dann is the Apt Manager and I believe he has a true concern for all of us that live here. He is very much a part of what happens within this community and cares for each tenant/community member. Dann has a nice staff that work just as hard to meet the needs of each member as he himself does. I have not had any problems with theft. But I am a strong believer that you have to know who belongs in your little section of the community and who does not. Watch what is going on. Listen for things that don't sound right. People now a days don't want to take responsibility for any thing. Give me every thing at no cost. Life is not like that. If you ask someone sitting in a car watching what are they doing will help to foil a possible break-in event. Have the person see you get their license plate number from their vehicle. Just because we rent does not remove us from being responsible citizens. You would want the same courtesy from your neighbors if you lived in a home. Renting at Avistele is no different. This is a great place. They hold parties once a month in the Hospitality House. They do different things to make us all feel like we are a part of something special. Sure, just like anywhere's else, there may be issues with things. Treat the staff with the courtesy that you would expect and I am sure that they will treat you the same. They have always been the most respectful to me. We are all human and sometimes make mistakes. I am sure the same is true for you. But the staff at Avistele @ Deerwood tries to make each day and experience here a Great one. I hope you will do the same. I love it here.

My experience:
Several posts within the past several days indicate that people are writing negative reviews on Avistele, and they are just complaining. I do not think its fair to prospective renters to have the same misconception towards Avistele that I had as a new renter. We have incurred nothing but problems and every renter may not have the same experience; however, those speaking of their issues should not be accused of overreacting. I moved into Avistele in March of this year, I will say that Eva, is very helpful and friendly. We did experience some conflicting information regarding the incentives that were offered, so any new prospective renters should get everything in writing. We had several miner incidences upon move-in but nothing major. About three months ago, our roof started leaking and maintenance did come right away, and attempted to fix our roof with kitchen caulk. (I found the empty tube outside of my patio) Needless to say the roof continued to leak. Last month, I paid our rent through the online service on time and have receipt that the transaction took place. Two days later, I received a three day eviction notice. After contacting the office, the representative advised they forgot to look under my name and apologized. I let it go even though I was extremely upset by the slight heart attack I had over the eviction notice. On the latest bill, they're now trying to charge us a $75.00 late fee! Also occurring last month, was our apartment getting broken into and about $1,000.00 worth of items stolen. After speaking with my neighbor, she advised her car as well as a few others were broken into recently. I am not naive about theft happening; my roommate is in the JSO program. She is four months from becoming a police officer; I know break-ins happen in Jacksonville. My frustration comes from not being made aware of the crime occurring in the neighborhood. We were not notified by the office and I feel they should disclose this information upon move-in and also in the monthly newsletter. Apparently, a daytime security officer is on duty from 8 to 5, which assists no one since all the break-ins have happened at night or early in the morning around 5:30am. Due to the break in and issues with the roof, I contacted Consumer Affairs as well as other regulatory agencies. The notification of the break-ins is debatable, but repairing someone's roof with kitchen caulk is not. My roommate also went to the front office to advise them of the issues we were having. Dan (property mamager) was on vacation and another manager spoke to her. Every issue my roommate brought up was quickly rebutted with an excuse, which is unacceptable. My roommate requested Dan contact us as soon as he returned, it has now been thirty days and have heard nothing. A maintenance man came to look at our roof and advised that the roof would be fixed and the water stains on the ceiling that looks horrible by the way, would be painted over. This makes no sense to me and I'm wondering how many times it has been painted over vs. fixed. I have documented everything and provided it to my Consumer Affairs representative. I also wrote into Renaissance, PG that manages Avistele and have heard nothing. Needless to say, I would not recommend anyone move here. My sister lived here 13 years ago and the only thing different is the paint and updated appliances. It's extremely over priced and the pools are horrible, full of mold and usually closed during the summer. My recommendation would be rent a new condo or townhome in the area for the same or possibly cheaper price.

Great Place to Live
I have lived here since February 2009. When my boyfriend and I first moved in, we lived in a 2 bedroom in the North Village. There was quite a few maintanence issues, but those come with older apartments. All of them were fixed quickly, but after much consideration, we decided a one bedroom, upgraded villa, in the West Village would be a better fit for us. We moved into the villa a month ago and we absolutely love it. It is a quiet neighborhood, safe area, and all around great spot. Dan, the apartment manager is amazing. He worked with us to make sure we found an apartment we really loved. He took us around from apartment to apartment, showed us every option we had, and we finally saw our perfect place, our Villa :) Eva, one of the rental specialists, is awesome too. She is always willing to help, even if it is not in her area. When reading these reviews, all I can think is that no one bothered to go to Dan with their problems. He is great at his job and wants everyone to be happy where they live. I am happy to call Avistele at Deerwood my home and will be renewing my lease when it comes to that time.

Deerwood
Don't understand the bad reviews. This place is pretty special and the office staff reminds us of that every day or week as we run into them. Every apartment I've ever lived in has had it's share of maintenance issues, but the minor things that come up are handled almost immediately. They must have guys waiting outside my door in case I call. Great for my daughter as it's super close to the bus stop and playground, my husband goes to the golf course and gym, and I love the office pool, it's saltwater!I think some people just like to complain. Come out and see this place, you'll get it.

Deceptive pricing practices
We were interested in Avistele at Deerwood largely based on the West Village villas' floorplan and the pictures on the website. The price range listed is $860-1064. The website talks about 3 levels of upgrades (Legacy, Classic, and Cachet) leading potential tenants to believe that $860 is for the Legacy, $1064 is for the Cachet, with the Classic falling somewhere in between the 2. A rental agent took us on a tour of the property, including a completely tricked-out unit which we believed to be the $1064 Cachet model. But NOOOOO. When we got back to the office, we were handed all kinds of leaflets telling about renter's insurance, pet insurance, security deposits, application fees, AND--the real kick in the teeth--cost for each upgrade. In reality, the lowest price listed on the website is not for the Legacy unit; it's for the completely non-upgraded "not changed since 1983" units. The $1064, listed as the top price, is for the basic upgraded Legacy model. If you want the Classic or Cachet upgrades, they're extra. A LOT extra. $183 a month for hardwood floors, for instance. I didn't even wait around to hear how much any of the other upgrades were. I gave them back their leaflets, asked for my application fee check to be handed back to me, and we left. But not before I told them how deceptive I felt their advertised prices were. I also intend to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about Avistele's deceptive advertising practices.

HIGH Electric, HIGH Living Costs.....:)
So I have written one review of Avistel and since my review a lot has changed and will actually be breaking my lease agreement in a couple of days: which of course I am very happy about. When we originally looked at Avistel we were shown a nice 2 story town house that seemed to be much nicer and bigger; amazing appliances, room sizes etc. I was also informed electric wouldn't be that expensive (maybe $150 or less a month). Well when we signed the dotted line we then were shown our unit which of course was "MUCH SMALLER" and the layout was different. We signed the agreement regardless. When we moved in we all were always "HOT" and it seemed the air conditioner wasn't working correctly - it was over 86 degrees in our town house. I complained several times but really nothing could be done except purchasing a window unit. Well a couple weeks ago my family friends were all complaining about soar throats, running to the bathroom constantly and nausea. We all had one thing in common using the pool. I informed "Nicole" about it. I told her I would bring a water sample to the health department - she told me not to because this problem wasn't my responsibility well in return for complaining the pool was closed. Well I asked the maintenance man about it to only find out it was "regular scheduled" maintenance and the pool would be opened the following day.. Well a few days later the pool was opened. I found out they had a chemical problem with the pool; meanwhile my eyes were burning and the pool was green before I called. The apt complex refused to inform the community about it. A 10 y/o kid fell on the pavement at the pool because it was full of water dirty but the complex didn't seem to care. When we got out $430.00 electric bill we all almost croaked. It was like WTF? If we found out electric was so much, the upstairs was worse then a sauna we wouldn't have moved here. These complex are OLD, run down and cost more in electric then it would cost probably the state of Hawaii In the coming days were going to running away screaming without the nightmares, electric costing probably more then a drug dealers home, problems with the buildings looking run down.. I must say a couple of the people here are very nice; Dan is an amazing apartment manager. I am NOT thrilled with a couple of people; Mostly Nicole....

I love it, been here for 1 year
I moved here August 2009 and I love it. I've read the other reviews and I don't know what they are talking about. In the year that I've been here I haven't seen any drug dealers, haven't had any problems with loud noises, or anything like that. This place offers valet trash service, the community liaison Keidi always has wonderful community events like cinco de mayo, poker nights, community bbq's, breakfast at the curb, and other events where you can win awesome prizes. Dan (community manager) is also great. He makes himself available for any comments or concerns that you may have.Even when I see him in passing he's always asking if there is anything I need. The maintenance guys are great, fixing any problems that occurs in a timely manner.I have nothing to say but great things about them.

its not THAT bad...
My roommate and I moved here summer 2007 because they were cheaper than the other places we had looked at (we almost moved to Bentley Green). I had a horrible experience with Brandy and she just seemed fake and condescending the whole time she was there (Thank GOD she's gone now!) When I first moved in there was a security guard but they dropped that about a year ago. But the place is pretty safe, I was surprised when crime did happen in the area. About the landscaping done in the morning, YES it was annoying but the property is very nice because of that. So I tried not to complain about it. The complex is pretty quiet but yes the walls are thin. Maintenance does seem to be about patching up a problem for the time being. I feel like i am CONSTANTLY calling them to fix something. I love the electronic keys and I have only had a problem with them once since living here. I don't know, it's not as bad as other people are making it out to be.
