Overall, we love the community. The tree lines streets make for a very serene environment. Other than occasional loud truck, car, or motorcycle, the community is very quiet and peaceful. Maintenance staff does a good job to get things taken care of and the office staff is attentive and prompt at getting back to you. We will definitely be making this our home until we're ready to buy. (Unless the rent becomes unreasonable Lol!) P.S. Although we do not own a pet, this is a VERY pet friendly community.

The apartment complex has been changing management quite a bit, but seems like each change only improves response time and quality of online sites which is nice. But be careful of wildlife like snakes because they don't respond quick enough or do anything for keeping them out.

The property is quiet and well maintained. They are pretty good at responding quickly to concerns. We have enjoyed living here for the last three years. Our only concern is how rent has increased over the last three years and that salaries have not kept up with the rate hikes.

Perks: The community is quiet and charming and the apartments are located in a bustling area of Jacksonville. Cons: Upon move-in my apartment was not thoroughly cleaned and was full of pest dead and crawling. Some of the previous tenant's belongings still remained in my apartment. Most frustrating is the fact that I moved in on a one-month rent special, and I even spoke with office personnel about it prior to signing my lease. The one-month rent special was not honored.

My experience has been just okay. I've had 3 major leaks and 1 minor sink leak over the past 6 weeks. I have one more area that I've put in a work order for right inside my front door. The ceiling is sagging and cracking and water will be coming in next so I hope it gets handled before the water comes in. When the worker did my recent repair on ice maker and dishwasher, he took pictures to show Mike and a work order was put in thru Stacey 2 weeks ago. Just praying I don't have another major leak before it's fixed!

Move in was easy and the office staff was very kind and helpful. They were very attentive with a couple of minor issues in the unit Whalen we moved in. The maintenance staff are very nice and professional.

Not used to renting so was not sure what to expect. Moved from Ohio and renting until I find an house. Experience has been fine (with the exception of the roaches and palmetto bugs). Valet garbage pickup has been very sporadic lately.

great place but lots of bugs, backyard & parking area floods when it rains. food truck thursday happens once a month now. can hear everything outside. took a few months to be able to fall asleep normally while being able to drown out the noise

JESSICA CRUZ AT THE FRONT DESK WILL HARASS YOU

Creekfront at Deerwood has THE WORST staff I have ever encountered. Jessica Cruz little front desk girly thinks it’s okay to get mouthy and call a resident a “b*tch” in front of another resident. I was there asking about my security deposit because they have been withholding it from us. She said they were charging US extra for the damages they never fixed in our home. We got out of our lease 4 months early due to my military orders and memorandum. It is illegal to deny the dissolution of a lease for military members (with all of the memorandums, my orders, and my chain of command contact information). They tried to make us pay $4000 to leave, they got mad that legally they can’t say no to our lease dissolution, and now they are retaliating against us. SO UNPROFESSIONAL TO CALL A PAST, PRESENT OR FUTURE RESIDENT A “B*TCH”. IN THE FRONT OFFICE. We will be following up with PLENTY of information for Creekfront. DO NOT RENT HERE. Maintenance horrible. Bugs everywhere. Venomous snakes. “Valet trash” but they try to charge you extra? Everything about Creekfront at Deerwood is HORRIBLE.

Creekfront at Deerwood is a welcoming community, but lacks effective property management. Clearly, they've not hired enough maintenance staff to care for tenant needs. Even in situations which require emergency maintenance, there are too few staff to attend to the issues residents face. Maintenance staff themselves are kind and effective. However, the management appears uninterested in increasing their workforce with the ample profits they secure from their rents. An increase in workforce should not necessitate an increase in the already high rent costs, but instead Creekfront management should consider readjusting their profit margins so that they can provide for the basic needs of their tenants. I've certainly enjoyed living at Creekfront, but I will not be renewing my lease in part because of these issues.

The grounds here are clean, mowed often, and the flowers are wonderful. The staff is efficient and very friendly. We have thoroughly enjoyed our first year here. The gym and the pools are great?and maintained very well.

My brother used to live here and I loved it then. When I started looking at moving to a new apartment this was the first place I looked. I love the atmosphere of the complex l, I love the amenities it offers and love the apartment home itself. The staff is amazing here. I highly recommend it.

I actually moved into this community in 1996. I love the single story apartments but maintenance has declined. I have waited over 8 weeks for maintenance on 2:different occasions. The first time I had no outlets working in my bathrooms and back porch. It took less then 5 minutes to change the master outlet. Now I'm waiting 8 weeks for a plumbing issue that my insurance company paid them for and they sent an uncerified handyman who told me "I did the best I could with what I had to work with". The work still has not been completed properly, but the manager assured me a plumber has been scheduled as of today 6/06.

From the moment we moved in, this apartment complex has done nothing but disappoint and frustrate me. Upon move in, the apartment was absolutely disgusting. There were still toothpaste stains in the sink, and horrible black mold from the ac vents (I have pictures of all of it still). Literally nothing was cleaned. It was so bad that the movers couldn't unpack everything, and we had to wait for a cleaning crew to come in and take care of the mess. From there, we noted over 15 discrepancies that needed to be addressed. It took over 50 days (!) to fix a single thing (also documented). Absolutely embarrassing. We constantly tried to communicate with Andre, the leasing manager, to try and figure out how to fix the issues, and he dropped the ball every time. Said he would take care of the issues, but never could manage to do anything productive. Shortly after moving in, noticed a horrible amount of growth coming from my dishwasher wands. The maintenance team did nothing to fix it, and the washer would not operate properly. It took over 5 months of complaining to get a new dishwasher unit. These issues are just the tip of the iceberg here. Would love to keep going, but I've wasted so much energy on this place as is.
