I visited the property during the week and arrived to the leasing office 45 mins prior to closing and was told they couldn't help me because it was to late for me to come back another day. I came back this past weekend at 2pm and this time was told they couldn't help me because I didn't have an appointment. They weren't busy because no one was there and even if they were I would have waited but they really didn't care and sent me away like if I was bothering them. They may have a great product but the leasing office ruins the whole experience. Will never go back. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star for the way they treat potential tenants.

Overall my experience has bee great! The community is fairly quiet and well kept. I have had some minor issues however, they were addressed immediately and the staff here is extremely helpful. I would recommend this community to anyone!

I love the community here. I've been here since 2017. My neighbors are quiet The rooms are spacious. I think the rent is descent for the area, however I would to see a little more security presence, from time to time.

The community is beautiful. I've lived 4 different places on South Florida and by far this is the best! The space is modern all modern appliances. Conveniently located near shopping, schools, highways?

This apartment complex was the worst we have ever lived at. It looks great on paper, however, once you are living here it turns into your worst nightmare. The staff selling you the apartment will lie directly to your face about there being a gang-related shoot-out where two individuals were taken to a local hospital that ended up getting put on lockdown because the fight was about to continue there. They will also not tell you that for the entire community there is only one guard, they never have anyone in the guard house. This results in frequent break-ins to your car, theft of your scanner barcode off your car which is needed to get through the resident entrance, vandilization of your car potentially, and even people who don't live here trying to get in and near head-on collisions with these people trying to enter the exit while you are trying to leave for the day/night. Nothing ever gets done around here also. The upper management staff acts friendly, but they really do not care about anything other than the money you are paying them. For example, a misogynistic male man-handled a female in their apartment gym for using one of several pieces of equipment that he was on, and all that was done was a "note was taken". The neighbors around here act like savage Neanderthals, throwing parties all night long, hammering into the walls, and even running a full-on construction business out of the garages at all hours of the night. And again, management does nothing. Be aware of some neighbors here as well, some have vicious dogs that they walk in the community and we have been attacked by one, even filed a report with animal control, yet the apartment management again does nothing. Upon resigning our lease last year, we found out that a plethora of the reports we filed were either lost or never recorded. They are horrible at maintaining their records, and will always tell you things verbally and blatantly refuse to put things in writing. On top of this they discriminate against emotional support animals. We also have an active mold issue where we were forced to hire a professional to come in and assess for mold. When we first reported this the apartment complex sent a maintenance worker that identified a lack of airflow in the walk in closet, said his supervisor would come take a look in a few hours. No one ever came. We had to wait over 96 hours and complain again about no supervisor coming to look at our issue before finally a supervisor came. This supervisor was not happy that we complained and was being diminutive, and unprofessional when addressing us, trying to minimize our problem, accuse us of being smokers or saying we light candles, when at the time we had several loads of laundry running and he could smell our scented dryer sheets because we had to fold all of our clothes and live in our living room because of the mold issue that we found in the master bedroom/master closet. From there, we dealt with Upper management, we have requested several times to be reimbursed for our unnecessary expenditures, yet ignored every single time over email. They continuously send people over to try and argue whether there is a Mold issue and not a single worker has actually tested anything around here, they only come in and work off what they see and what they think. Recently we noticed our water heater which is right under the AC unit intake was leaking, we were promised it would be fixed and reinsulated, yet it is still leaking and now with no insulation. Which to note we believe this to be the result of the mold issue primarily as you can only see the water after running a shower or using hot water. It's letting the ac unit pull in humidity clearly. We also have yet to receive concrete info on when or if a remediation was properly or professionally performed. On a side note, at our resigning of our lease we mentioned to Nichole the property manager on several occasions that we had cats. The purpose was to find out if we needed to pay a pet fee. She said no, not to worry. My girlfriend has been prescribed Emotional Support Animals (ESA's) by a medical professional, and they are registered. Yet, yesterday, we received a letter threatening eviction because we have cats. They won't do anything about the aggressive and dangerous dog that has nearly attacked several individuals and documented on public record, but apparently ESA's that live inside an apartment and don't bother anyone are considered a public nuisance. So beware for those with ESAs because this complex seems to be highly discriminatory against them. Overall, for the sake of your sanity, health, and that of your family's DO NOT LIVE HERE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

The move-in process was smooth but I was disappointed about ants in the apartment kitchen. I do not like the gate process to get on the property - if you do not have a car, you must wait in the visitor line which is very long

It's been up and down. When I first moved here, it was a dream come true. There are some parts (dirty hallways, trash around the building often, marijuana smell, in the hallways, cars broken into, constant rent increases, months without use of amenities because of COVID but no decrease in rent) that feel like a nightmare now. The staff is nice but there has definitely been a downgrade in terms of satisfaction as a resident.

This is not a reasonable place especially for the price 1800 monthly with no parking is ridiculous. Management are uncompromising and they enter your apartment without notification. Horrible place do not recommend.

When I moved in (2018), it started out well. Very good price, office staff was professional and considerate, and maintenance was excellent. It was also great to move into a brand-new apartment complex as well. However, from 2018 – until I moved out in 2021 -- the security gates rarely worked. They were subpar and not user-friendly. In fact, I had to repeatedly explain to my guests and delivery people how to even get through the gate. Additionally, due to poor planning, there were never sufficient parking spaces available to either the residents or their guests. Next, the keyless lock on the front door of my apartment repeatedly failed to work. I contacted maintenance for over 6 months complaining that my door was not working, and they still did not repair it correctly. Maintenance kept changing the battery, even after I repeatedly explained to them that the malfunction had to be something other than the battery. They just continued to replace the battery, rather than doing the right thing and replacing the lock. Even when they finally replaced the lock -- well after 6 months of my complaining and sending multiple maintenance requests asking that the lock be repaired or replaced -- I still had problems locking my door, at the most inconvenient times. Additionally, after COVID, the management of the property really got worse. After submitting maintenance requests online as required, I had to actually go to the office to follow-up on my maintenance requests because the office didn't acknowledge receipt of my maintenance requests even after MULTIPLE telephone calls. The property manager is rude, unprofessional, inconsiderate, and very inattentive to the concerns of the residents. Because leadership reflects attitude, her staff is likewise very unprofessional, rude, and inconsiderate. Finally, when I moved out, I had my apartment professionally cleaned at my expense. I did the walk-through with one of the maintenance men, and he gave me the all-clear. However, in spite of this, I STILL got bogus expenses taken out of my security deposit. There was absolutely no damage to my apartment, the cleaning was impeccable, and I should have received my FULL security deposit back! The rent they charge is not worth it! I am HAPPY that I moved and wish I would have done so sooner. DO NOT under any circumstances move here. Find somewhere else to stay. There are better apartments with better prices and service. RUN – DO NOT WALK – AWAY!!

One of the receptionist is very rude. I don't know her name at the moment but she treated me like a stranger everytime she seen me even though she knew I was there to complete my move-in process. She works at the front desk.

Moving into the community was a very difficult process, the leasing agent/management made the process more difficult than need be. Upon moving in I felt I was not fully informed on basics such as parking, mail, community guidelines. Other than that, this neighborhood is very beautiful, quiet, and well kept. It feels very safe and peaceful. Even though moving in was a hassle, I enjoy living here.

It's been a great experience for me. The quietness friendly people because I speak to everyone I see and they do speak back now that's wonderful considering the things we're dealing with in the world. I've recommended three people to move in and they have two of my family and one is a friend and everyone is pleased

After a month residing here I can say my apartment is decent and some common areas are usable . However , I have experienced certain things that got me questioning whether I made the right decision moving here . Here they are: 1. The hallways are always dirty and nobody cleans them. I have seen the same trash and weird substances on the ground since before Christmass. I am not sure if this specific to building 13 , but it is in such a bad state that I don’t want to have people over 2. The trash is not always picked at the same time. I have had to take my trash to the dumpster myself. 3. I come from another state so I might be wrong here . However , is it ok to work on cars in the parking lot?. Not only this looks terrible and contaminates the residence , but it is also dangerous . I never know if there is someone working on a car that I am parking next to 4. It’s not easy to get a hold of the maintenance guys . I asked for a replacement to my faucet before I moved in multiple times and it has not been replaced yet These four things are completely fixable . MILA just needs to put the time and make the necessary corrections . This residence has a great potential . I hope my next review is a lot better

We are so excited to be living at MILA. The complex is beautiful and the apartments are so cozy. The office staff is absolutely amazing. We worked with Lucia during our move in process and with Betty the day of our move in and we can not be any more please. We are excited to create memories here at MILA with our children.

MiLa Apartments have been the best experience of apartment living in my history of stays. My daughter and I were new to the Miami area and Nicole and her staff made our experience golden. I never had any issues with maintenance, or concerns I may have expressed. All issues were handled promptly and throughly and for this I am thankful. I worked deeply with Michael and Nicole on many occasions and I was left satisfied with each interaction. Thank you for making our stay golden! This place is not only beautiful on the outside but the inside (the people) are beautiful as well! Thank you!

Overall, my experience has been a good one. Initially, 2 packages were stolen from my door. However, I haven't had another issue in the 8 months since then. My apartment itself is new, so there's little need for maintenance. The office staff have been helpful and professional.

I was in love with the "Model" unit that was shown to me, however, the apartment we have yet to move into was very very disappointing. The actual unit we were given was very different and not what was expected. Firstly, Lucia, our leasing agent, was not helpful and very rude throughout the entire process. If there was any update, I would need to contact her. On the morning of our expected move on 12/11/21, the lock was not working and the apartment smelled like smoke. How do you have a move in date yet the door lock, the first point of safety is not working? So Lucia was supposed to have this fixed, yet in the afternoon I followed up if the door was fixed and she said it was fixed. However, the door was not fixed and only after 2 more back and forth did the door get fixed at 6:30pm. Lucia's attitude this entire time was not kind or compassionate. The apartment smelled like smoke which we tried to clean ourselves by mopping and cleaning all the appliances, yet the smoke still stayed. After bringing up a different agent, Autumn, who was helpful, directed us to James who was able to go to the apartment with us and he confirmed the smoke smell. He advised an Ozone machine, but a day later said it was unsafe and would attempt to fix the problem on Monday 12/20. So it would be more than a week since the expected move on the date of 12/11. The smell of smoke is unhealthy and an unlivable condition. I am very very disappointed with this process and I expressed this to Nicole Miller the Property manager and I have yet to hear back. I expect to have the lease revised to an acceptable move in date or be moved to another apartment that is livable.

Great community, wish the leasing office and manager was more like they care more about the complex than the actual resident, in reality, the customer is what makes the complex. the more bad reviews you get the less people are interested. great service is always number 1
