Professionalism defines the staff at North Lake Park. The office staff always is willing to help or find an answer for your question or problem. This goes for the Maintenance Department, they too react in a timely manner even after hours. I call North Lake Park Apartments my home because of the staff and how they care for how they do their jobs and the residents. I am proud to call Northlake Park Apartments my home.

I was traveling summer 2011 when I received a call I was accepted to professional school in Orlando. Having a short time to obtain an apartment and move, I quickly began to research places to live and afford. I found Northlake Park Apts and Shannon (manager). She and her staff were the nicest and most efficient people to deal with. I leased the apt on line and over the phone, without ever seeing it. Between the verbal descriptions and on line photos, I knew this place would suit my needs. It actually exceeded my expectations and living here was a great experience. Shannon, Edna, Tony and all staff members were great. Any and all requests were handled immediately (same day) and while living here I had no issues at all. I needed to relocate, otherwise I would still be in my apt! A great place to live and with the expansion Lake Nona is experiencing, should be an awesome place to live with added shopping and dining opportunities! The airport is only minutes away and an added bonus if you need to travel.

I've been here a little over six months now, and without a doubt this has been a wonderful experience. The Administrative Staff treat you as if they have known you all of your life (Edna, Tony, Shannon. The maintenance staff is top of the line, when ever I had a problem, it was resolved immediately, and with a smile. The community is excellent, especially if you have kids or pets, but most of all SAFE. You guys are the best at what you do, and I would recommend this living facility to anyone moving to the Orlando or surrounding area. Thanks Darrell/Family

I have lived in this Apartment Complex since 2007 and I have never felt safer. The office personel Shannon, Edna and Toney are always willing to do what it takes to make everyone happy. The maintance men Souil and Tom are the best, they response to any repairs in 24 hr period or less and never have to come back twice because the item is fixed right the 1st time. If you enjoy Social events then this is your place there is always something going on from pool parties, Friday night movie, Holiday gatherings and more.

I lived at Northlake Park Apartments for two years, and although the experience for me was not a bad one, the maintenance department is exellent, they respond immediately to any calls. The appliances are outdated and do not work as they should and the linoleum in the kitchen is in need of being replaced. I have since moved into a much larger house and was very surprised to see that my electric and water bill are so much lower now. In the apartments I was paying on average over $200.00 per month for electricity alone, and over $40.00 a month in water, now I am in a large 4 bedroom house and my electric bill runs on average $160.00 a month and water is only $16.00, that is saving me over $100.00 per month.

I am overwhelmingly happy with everyone involved since day 1 in my move to this property! The folks in the office are incredibly patient,kind,and educated with any questions I ask them. The maintenance guys are prompt and professional in following up and repairing any problems that arise. They are also friendly and will provide education about the repairs they are completing. Overall, everyone I have come into contact with employed by this property always greets me with a smiling, friendly face which is not found consistently at many properties.

We just moved into our VanMetre apartment and while we are paying the same amount as we did in our last apartment but we feel as if we are now living our lifestyle in a beautiful community that makes us feel like we belong and like we are on vacation everyday!!!

Nothing But Excellence

I looked at my unit at approximately 2:00pm and by 4:00pm had the keys to the unit I would be calling home for the next year. I can't tell you how much I love it. Efficient, friendly, professional, and warm are the words I would use to describe the staff here at Northlake. Great Place

I have lived in many complexes over many years in opposite ends of the country and this is by far one of the best. The whole area is very charming and my unit is more like a home than an apartment. The staff are the best I have ever encountered. They have taken care of all of my issues in a timely manner. The leasing process was easy and they were very honest and put things in place to take care of the noise level. I come home from work in the middle of the night and I feel very safe here!

Effortless moving process

Moving is never an easy process, expecially when moving 1000 miles from a different state. The leasing office staff did a fabulous job in making the process seem effortless. Tony Peters at Northlake Park in Orlando, FL, is my leasing agent. He was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable and made me feel at home from the beginning of the process of finding the perfect apartment fit for me to getting me stettled in. I have needed the services of the maintenance technicians on one occasion and they were wonderful. . . a quick respons time to my work order and resolved my minor issues in a courteous and efficient manner.

A wondeful place to reside

Our family just relocated from Pittsburgh, PA. We needed a 3 month lease while building our home. We loved the townhome and the location. We were within walking distance to a well-rated elementary school. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. I have met a lot of wondeful people here, and it is hard to say good-bye. The staff is fantastic. If I had any maintenance issues, they were resolved immediately. We used the pool and the gym many times. Really, it was a pleasant place to live.

Very Loud Units & Disappointed With Management: DO NOT RENT A FIRST FLOOR UNIT

My wife and I wanted a quiet place. We specifically asked whether these facilities were quiet, but one of the saleswomen evaded the question citing the Fair Housing/Equal Opportunity act (My first warning sign I didn't pay attention to). When moving in we heard loud noises (folks running up and down the stairs which are built into our walls). We were told those folks were moving in (they weren't, they were there for two years and weren't moving out either). We've always lived on first floor units but the build quality here (severe water damage in the ceilings are evident) and incredibly poor quality of the walls (garage doors are all on the main floor and are extremely loud) made our unit shockingly unpleasant. And it's not just us...two of the tenants just in our same building have had severe noise problems. One is considering suing so he can get out of his lease. Another neighbor in our same building told me a story about how the prior tenant visited him asking if he could handle the noise! She couldn't so management moved her into a second bedroom. He struggled for months until his noisy neighbor left on her own accord. Don't think the management isn't aware of the problem. They've misspoken to us on several occasions... and we've caught them. They won't acknowledge a noise situation for main floor units until you've signed docs. When you complain, they'll promise a call back, but don't. They promise copies of your lease, but don't get them made. They promise a lot -- but don't deliver resolution. Is it a horrible situation? No, just bad enough to warrant a post here on the ratings site and for us considering breaking our lease... and warn folks to absolutely look elsewhere and not under any circumstances lease a one bedroom here. Management won't get the buildings fixed, and won't evict noisy neighbors (imagine children jumping from chairs 24/7). Camden just opened up a beautiful new property which looks great (toured it last week). Go there (Camden La Vina) for your one bedroom needs instead. Don't depend on the staff at Northlake for transparency, my experience says they can't entirely be trusted.

Northlake Park Apartments is a wonderful place to call home!

We do not understand why our monthly payment goes up each year we are due to resign. There should be some sort of program that "rewards" good residents. Our monthly rent is due to raise again this year and did last year. If the cost continues to increase we will not be renewing our lease. Management has been very helpgul with this matter and we hope that we can continue to be part of this wonderful community. Tony is not the only asset to this community, EVERYONE that works here makes it a wonderful place to call home. I cannot recall a time where an employee has not waved or even stopped to chat when they see residents. They all take the time to give the community a personal touch!

Finally HOME...

After years of living in apartments throughout the USA I have found an apartment that is not an apartment. Northlake Park is full of Townhomes in the middle of the most beautiful area of Orlando. I have lived here for just 2 weeks and can not tell you how happy I am. Spacious, clean, pest free, amazing area (Lake Nona). The care that the property team took during the time I was moving in was great. The maintainence staff is WAY above board. I am hard to please in every regard concerning where I make my home. I do not have any complaints for this community other that the fact that I wish I would had found it long ago. I am home now. Feel free to email me about living here. I'll be honest. Loving it here!

Experience has been great

This is the second lease at Northlake, Edna Barrios was the leasing agent both times and did an outstanding job of ensuring that the process was completed without a hitch. Tony, Shannon, and the entire maintenance crew are always courteous, attentive and solve my problems ASAP. I'll lease here again and recommend Northlake as the place to live. The entire complex is beautifully maintained, family friendly, secure and QUIET.

Enjoy!!!

I like the apartments, and the Lake Nona area. The staff is very nice. The only thing I would say is that there needs to be a playground for the kids.
