The rent is high for my apartment size. Parking is minimal, would love to see a dedicated parking spot for tenants. (1) spot like other complex have. Too many visitors. Dogs are overtaking this complex. I just wish the dog owners would pick up after their pets. there are plenty of dog waste bags free all over the complex.

Parking is the major problem, one bedroom apartments are not guaranteed a parking spot, two and three bedroom are guaranteed two parking spots. In addition, management is selling parking spots that should be reserved for one bedroom apartments.

My experience has been very positive. The office staff are professional and friendly. Any maintenance issue has been handled within twenty four hours, which included a quick response to a smoke alarm which beeped constantly when the battery died. Very pleased with living here!

Apartment layouts and interiors are very nice. Maintenance requests are handled very promptly and every member of the staff including maintenance are quite friendly. Rarely hear any neighbors through walls. About my only concern is that the carpets tend to show odd stains/discolorations in seemingly random areas that have no cause known to me through my time renting, but I'm sure I'll get hit with that when I eventually leave the property. Otherwise this is a great apartment with an outstanding location in Lake Nona and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking.

I absolutely love it here. The staff are by far the best! Aroua, Shannon and, Edna from the office to our super friendly maintenance team are top notch. I checked out every apartment community in lake Nona and once I came here I knew this was home. I love my view of the evening sunsets and I love my front porch sitting time.. I have a one bedroom apt and it's beautiful. Sure I wish the appliances were stainless. We all love to walk our doggies around the path here. You will find me on my porch sipping coffee in the morning and drinking a glass of red wine watching the gorgeous sunset - with my best friend and my lab most evenings. Amazing Place to call home

I recently came to this complex in search of a new home for my family, the grounds are beautiful and very peaceful. When I entered into the club house/office which was beautiful and I was greeted by a very warm and friendly staff always smiling and she made me feel like I was already home, Edna took me to view an available unit and made sure I had all he information to make an informed decision for my family. Thank you for making me feel at home already, I will be working on my husband to move in as soon as possible.

I have only been living here for a few weeks and am already in love with it! The staff here have gone so far above and beyond to make sure I am happy. When I had to call for maintenance, David was at my apartment in literally less than 10 minutes. He remembers my name and makes it a point to greet me when we see each other. Rosemary and Edna are awesome both quick to respond to any question that I have and to follow up with me to be sure that my needs are cared for. The neighbors that I have met so far are so friendly. I never want to move again!

Northlake Park's holiday party was simply first class all the way! Food was catered by a local company and could not have been more delicious! Fun was had by all the Northlake staff went above and beyond to make sure all the residents were happy! Downsizing from a house into an apartment was a concern for me, however, Northlake Park and its' leasing staff made my move an incredible experience. I have been living here for a month now and it has been quite an experience. This apartment complex is great if you live in a two or three bedroom unit. The reason why I say this is because the residents who own the 2/3 bedrooms have the second and third floor in the building. If you live in a one bedroom like I do you unfortunately you have to hear all the noise from the residents above. FYI- The kitchen of the 2/3 bedroom units are above your bedroom. So for the month that I have been living here I am sleeping in the living room to avoid the noise. Two weeks after I moved in I had to transfer units to avoid noise but even in the new unit the residents upstairs walk like they are giants. I am paying $956.00 a month and I cannot even sleep in my own bedroom. I can understand the concept of "living noise" but this is beyond that. All the one bedrooms are on the first floor so you have no choice. The staff is very nice and try to accommodate but this is the flaw of when they built this complex. So if you are going to move in do a 2/3 bedroom unit. If I was able to afford it I would switch to one of those units but unfortunately I cannot. I can say only living here a month that I will not be renewing my lease next August. The fact that I cannot sleep in my own bedroom is a deal breaker. Also residents do not pick up after there dogs. When I live my apartment I always have to watch my step as there is feces on the grass and pavement. I was so excited to move in this complex because I thought it would be a great place to live and stay for a few years....but I was wrong!!!!!!!

I remember meeting Edna when I moved here in June 2006; she was SO helpful and friendly! Over nine years later, this is still my home and Edna's laugh still fills the office. The maintenance guys have been here ten years. More than quickly fixing problems, they are considerate and friendly. Van Metre must be an excellent company, to have such a family feeling and low turnover.

Wow! I just moved in a couple months ago to Northlake Park and absolutely love everything about it! My two bedroom townhome with the attached garage is exactly what I was looking for as I transitioned from a home that I just recently sold. My leasing experience with the entire office staff went flawlessly as I had to do this from out of state. Upon arriving to Northlake Park, my expectations were not only met, but exceeded in every way! Not only do I love my apartment, I love the neighborhood of Lake Nona. I just tried calling this apartment complex. I'm several months from moving to Orlando. All I wanted was a ballpark amount on how much the rent was. The woman I spoke with asked me all kinds of questions and said the rent fluctuates daily and wanted to know if I had someone who could go over and look at the property for me. Really? What kind of BS is that? I've lost interest...

Have lived at Northlake Park Apartments for over four years! Love the feel of this community as it truly feels like a home versus just an apartment! The staff goes over the top to help out when needed and the area is "one of a kind" in Lake Nona. My wife and I are buying a house and are going to miss Northlake Park, but will refer to our friends who are moving from up north to live in Orlando!
