The community is very well kept overall in comparison to other communities. The maintenance staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I feel very safe here. It's pet friendly and rarely do you find dog poop around. The owners/staff do a good job at keeping the grounds clean. I feel that you get a good amount of amenities for what you end up paying too. I have enjoyed my time living here and am happy with my apartment and hope to be able to continue living here.

It's been excellent and the staff is amazing. The community is very clean. I love loving here because it's central to e restaurants- St Pete or Tampa, Airports- Both, Beaches- Indian rocks, Indian shores, clearwater and St Pete.

People with pets don't clean up their dog ----. People swimming in pool all hours of the night even though they aren't allowed per complex rules but it's not enforced. Those are the two biggest complaints.

Apartment complex is clean and well maintained. The people are friendly, things are fixed quickly and it's quiet. Nice selection of extras like food trucks and events. Plenty of parking. Apartments are modern, rooms are large. Love my balcony and the patio lights everyone hangs.

The leasing manager Vanessa was not very thorough in verifying my employment when renting me an apartment that I made more than enough of the rent required. She did not want my HR to call her and verify nor did she accept the number to call my Hr department. I wasn't approved and just a horrible experience.

So far so good, move-in process seems a bit too slow because of 3rd party companies we are waiting on as to cleaning, painting etc. The grounds are great, overall quiet though the gardening is VERY loud, they should use electric tools and then would be quiet enough.

We have only been residents for a couple days, so we havent been on property long enough to make an honest review. So far, we are happy with the size of our unit, the property as a whole, and the staff. There were a number of issues with our unit when we moved in (damaged finishes, appliance and fixture issues, etc) but all have been handled expertly by the maintenance team. Very impressed with their work so far.

Too little too late

Thanks for the generic response, but Vanessa knew about this when I filed a dispute and didn't reach out. Why would I want to talk with her now? My plans have drastically changed, thanks to this issue. My credit report was more blemished 3 years ago when I was approved for my current home, your requirements are unreasonable.

5 star experience. The staff and maintenance team are professional and friendly. The complex is always adding activities and making improvements. I livexthe fact that I can be at Tampa International in 12 mins, downtown Saint petersburg in 10 mins and the beaches in 25 mins.

It's a great place. Clean and great amenities. However the walls and ceilings are thin so noice will be an issue even with light walking. Main gate tends to break and takes a while to be fixed, but overall it's a safe place. Also if living in building 4 parking lot space will be an issue

Great amenities, spacious gym with well-kept equipment, beautiful pool, jacuzzi, and hot sauna. The location is perfectly in the center of everything we ever need, 13 min from St Pete Downtown and 20 minutes from Tampa Downtown.

I loved this place when I moved in. The property is still nice. The quality of living and responsiveness from MTC and management has deteriorated. There is a lot that they could do to improve it here. It's nice and a good location from my work.

We have been living here since October 2019 and we really love this site. Most of the people that live here are nice and polite, The clubhouse is wonderful, the BBQ area and pool is always clean and kept up. We have many areas to walk, a great tennis court, my daughter is happy playing in the playground. It's really great. I don't want to forget about the leasing and maintenance guys as they are very friendly and perform their duties in the best way, especially Mrs. Vanessa and Mr. Bret.

Clean, gated, excellent maintenance staff, always on top of issues around the facility, ground keep is always well maintained, trash pickup is great, dumpster and recycling area always cleaned and free of pests, excellent location, you would love living in this place.

Strongly do not recommend

Been without kitchen cabinet for 6 months because the crappy dishwasher broke and they took the whole kitchen cabinets under the sink out to get to it. The dishwasher barely works now anyway. Got a water bill over $1,000 for what the water company assumed is a leak and said is common at this complex. They did nothing to support the payment for the bill even though it was their leak. Renewal rates for rent are worse than someone newly renting. The latest renewal rate we got for a 2 bedroom is over $3k. The women in the office are unpleasant. There is mold in the apartment and earlier last year they sprayed for mold and got the spray all over our belongings because they did not cover them up. Could not recommend less and I truly think I should be paid by them for this terrible experience.

Epic is a great place to live. The community staff is very responsive and get things done. The maintenance staff is also amazing. There is a sense of community in the complex. The amenities at Epic at Gateway is really what sold me.

After 20 years and 14 moves associated with my job, Epic at Gateway is clearly the best community. Staff, office and maintenance, are outstanding, responsive, and always prioritize great communication. The apartment floorplans are spacious and have good flow. The grounds are well kept and lovely, especially along the nature walking trail (near 2 ponds). Neighbors are professional and pleasant. Overall professional atmosphere in the neighborhood. Gated community with cameras provides security. Great home!
