Not worth the money! Bug infestation

Me , my BF, and baby lived in this complex for a year and where do I start? Nice amenities and cute updated style is what made us sign the lease on this property. From then on out we noticed: -A silverfish INFESTATION… absolutely disgusting. We would see at-least 2 a day and sometimes up to 6 a day. -the gates to our “gated” community probably were only working a fraction of the time we lived there. -if you want to sleep and you aren’t on the 4th floor you better get a sound machine and put it on 100%.. and you’ll still be woken up. If you have a baby do not get anything other then the 4th floor or they will be woken up all the time. The place has no insulation so you can hear everything… stomping, dogs running, I could even tell you when and where the people above me were walking. It’s bad… the whole apartment would rattle when they walked above us. I wish they would have told us that when we toured the place with our 6month old baby because I know they get complaints about it often. -the staff: Well, I would just say they are “okay”. Not very pleasant for working in customer service.. and when it came to MOVE-OUT instructions or returning calls made to the office, it just wasn’t existent. You better be persistent if you have a concern. -when our lease was up they wanted to up it from 2250 to 2850. So raised 600 dollars, we were forced to leave for all of these reasons plus 600 dollar rent raise was just UNAFFORDABLE. All of this being said, I don’t write reviews ever. No I’m not a Karen.. I just had to let the people know! GOOD LUCK IF YOU’RE MOVING HERE!

We enjoy the much 20 minutes from everything. We enjoy pool. Would great if it was heated. There is adequate parking. It has been very safe and clean. Would like to be able to utilize facilities of other Richman Properties.

Been here for 6 months, and love the location, its 10 min. to Westshore, 10 min. to Clearwater and 10 min to downtown St. Pete. I have a corner one bedroom w/out the patio and at this price my floorplan has a HUGE living room.

If I could get my deposit back and break my lease without consequence I would move out in a heart beat. We've been here only a month and the aggravation we've experienced is ridiculous. We have a laundry list of issues that we have been trying to get resolved.

Extremely disappointed

We stayed in this property since October 2018 onwards everything was going great but suddenly they have made some changes in the maintenance requirements which I found to be very weird.My air conditioning stopped working all of a sudden around 6:20 pm in the evening and when we called the emergency maintenance helpline the guy on the phone told that this is not an emergency request so they are not going to come and fix it. My question is how in this scorching Florida weather a family can survive without air conditioning n that too with a 4 year old toddler. After giving this type of service they have increased the rent 40-50%.

Moved here September of 2021, been a good experience so far. Great location close to just about everything from major highways, to the beach, shopping, you name it. The grounds are up-kept regularly, maintenance team has always been timely and awesome during any issues that arise in the apartment (usually wear and tear stuff but not anything major has happened thankfully). Apartments are definitely modern and the updates ones have all laminate floor which is awesome. The clubhouse/pool area is pretty spacious and great as well, they have a cafe in the common areas and also a spa option. Have not used the gym personally yet as I'm traveling constantly for work but my roommate does use it often and she likes it. Great neighbors, very dog friendly as well, they have various points with bags and baskets for disposal, pretty good size lake on the south and north side with a trail connecting each. The car care center is pretty decent too (wish they would offer an electronic payment option or like a monthly plan where you could enter a code and use the equipment to wash/vacuum your car up to a certain times a month or something of that sort for us that like to have our cars clean constantly, instead of having to use coins for the vacuum and pressure washer, just a suggestion if they read this, not a negative comment about it). Overall a great experience in the near year we have been here.

Great staff, the community has awesome amenities and the apartment layout is very thought out. Love the no carpet floors and tons of storage space. The dog park and pet friendly atmosphere make this community a winner.

We moved into the Epic when it first opened. We have had a great experience. We love the amenities and enjoy spending time at the beautiful pool and gym as well as walking the grounds. The ponds are a favorite for us because we can hike right outside and enjoy watching the turtles in the water. The Cafe is great for a cup of tea/coffee. The pandemic was tough on everyone but surprisingly the staff has tried to keep up. Some maintenance is still needed but nothing too bad. It's a great place to live and enjoy.

The Epic at Gateway Apartments have been a great community to live in. The amenities are amazing and everything is well kept. Maintenance staff is never hesitant on fixing issues, problems are solved quickly and professionally. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a great place to live

The apartment complex is nice but the walls are so thin, you can hear everything. Also, I feel like staff enters my apartment frequently to check this or that. I do not think I'll ever live in another apartment complex.

Great location. The front office and maintenance staff have always been professional, friendly and helpful. All the residents overall are very friendly and respectful of one another. There are many different ethnicities and cultures. There definitely is a sense of "Community" here at Epic.

An okay place to live unless you need something fixed. Also, don't think about going month to month once the lease is up. Our rent increased from 2300 to 4770. We're moving into our new house and it isn't ready, but we have to move to a different place for two months because we can't afford 9540 a month for rent. I tried to attach pictures but it won't let me. Stop by the property before signing the lease. Also, I am very unhappy with their service, and typically don't write reviews. This was the second request from them so I guess they really want to know my thoughts, but I don't expect anything to change.

Office staff fair, maintanece staff promt, curteous, and efficent. The grounds are beautiful and the location is very nice. I love St. Pete and feel I live in the best place in the area. I wouldn't live anywhere else.
