Community is lovely. Apartment is nice, I like it a lot. Sadly, they have disappointed me in a long list of ways. I would not recommend this place unless you are prepared to deal with the poor management and maintenance issues.

I love living here. We will be going into our third lease soon. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. I love that it is located near the interstate. The grounds are beautifully maintained and and we love using the amenities (pool side grills, gym, sauna, dog park, walking trail, etc.) If I ever have any issues, maintenance is always super quick to resolve the problem. I have recommended this place to several of my friends/family.

Short Version: I feel that something dishonest & confusing is happening in regards to customer service. We’ve filed 4 work order requests and have walked in the front office 4 times to get our windows and blinds fixed. With the addition of 1 phone call we’ve had to ask to get our windows and blinds fixed 9 times and no one has come to help us. Dear Reader of this review. Ask yourself, if this is the quality customer service you want to be a part of when it comes to living somewhere. Long Version Disappointed, confused & offended...but let me explain. My wife and I are moving out of the Epic March 4th 2018. We’ve been working very hard to make sure that the next owner of the apartment can have a smooth transition into what they will call their home. This includes cleaning the shower, bathroom, mopping, scrubbing, repainting, dusting & much more. However we needed some help from the Epic with some issues we had with the window frames in our living room & bedroom, haven’t received any help. We filed a work order December 27th, 2017, to have these window frames & blinds replaced. After the new year I walked in to the front office to see if I could receive some help in fixing our blinds & windows. Front office said they would look into it and have the windows & blinds fixed. After a week or so passed, I decided to file another work order on January 15th, 2018 for the exact same issue “fixing the windows & blinds”. I did this to ensure I had something on record that we’re putting effort to get our issue resolved. A little more than week passed and I received a confirmation email that our “windows & blinds” have been fixed on January 24th at 3:00. I decided to drive by the apartment to confirm. However to my surprise this was untrue and our issue was not addressed. It was a blatant lie. Confused, I decided to walk to the front office and ask what was going on. I was informed that the repair man had closed out all the work orders and was on the job doing them today. I figured I’d wait a few days and come back to check on the apartment, however later on, we were informed by the front office that the repairman had now been let go. Since then, we’ve walked into the front office a total of 4 times to ask if we can get our windows and blinds fixed. We’ve also filed 2 more work orders including 1 more today (February 25th 2018 As far as we’re concerned , (even though we are moving) we still had to pay rent for January, February and pro-rated rent in March, we should be treated with fairness and priority to get our issues addressed. In closing, (whoever is reading this) ask yourself with all the information provided...would you want to be treated like this, despite you being as positive, respectful and patient as possible realizing people make mistakes. Do you want this from a Apartment Complex.

In efforts of saving you, I would advise you to take your business elsewhere. Although the complex is aesthetically appealing, the management office is unorganized and unreliable (FYI, they seem to lose paperwork often). For our 14 month lease, we have been paying "X" amount in rent, however, as we near our move-out date in the next month, we were just informed that we have been paying the incorrect amount of monthly rent. Thus, the rent and initial credit we received at sign-up were incorrect, leaving us with an owed balance. As you can imagine, I am not happy with the service that I have been provided and as a result I am leaving this review.

modern apartments, nice peaceful surroundings, secluded but easy access to everything, mall, theater, other shops, gas stations. lack of maintenance, as more trash and more tenants not obeying the rules. Also expensive and apartment not as big as it should be for the price. but more modern inside (huge , nice kitchen) than any others I have seen in St Petersburg, Clearwater, Palm Harbor areas

I've been here for just over 2 months and have had no major issues. Staff is nice, amenities are great, the apartments are well kept and peaceful. Community events are fun and enjoyable. Overall a 4.3 star rating. Great location!

We have had a great experience with rental staff, trash pick up and maintenance personal. Customer service is a very hard job for people but this staff makes it look easy. We have some issues with noise from apartment above us but not sure how to handle that situation. Not really the properties issue but just rude people.

The management seems to be overwhelmed with the move in process. I'm honestly not happy with my experience so far. I would like to get out of my lease and look for another property to live. There needs to be more done to resolve issues. I feel I'm paying top dollar for nothing.

This place is a rip off. They're so quick at charging you all kinds of fee but when it comes to services, it would take weeks. Staffs are not communicate with each other or no system to support such service so if you need something done you would have to talk to every single one of them and they all act like "Oh sorry, I didn't know". Prepare to increase your rent 30% after the lease is over. It's a nice, quiet place but the staffs are horrible. If you have a lot of $$$ and dont care about services then it's a considerable option, if not you will end up paying much more than advertised.

This is a great, luxurious and friendly community. The location is very convenient to downtown St. Pete, Tampa, shopping and restaurants. We loved it from the first day we saw and we continue to love it.

It's was not the best for someone who was moving to an apartment complex for the first time. The staff isn't as friendly as they seem. They don't respond to emails or phone calls in a timely manner. Only on their time.

could be mucch much bettert especially concerning the amount I pay here. I've been told on multiple occassions by staff in the office that i'd receive a return call which never happened. The very first work order ever done was right after i moved in and it was ridiculous. essentially bolted the door blinds

Heat the pool so we can use it all year. Build a second pool for adults only. Serve better quality food at social functions. Provide sprayers for kitchen faucets. Install first floor blinds that open from the top to afford privacy.

Our unit has great style, layout, and is quite spacious. We love the valet garbage pickup. The grounds are always well maintained. Finding parking has not been an issue. There are a wide range of interesting community events throughout each month. Unfortunately, sounds insulation is an issue for us. We can hear most conversations from our upstairs neighbours and can hear (and often feel) their steps as they walk throughout their unit. We can also hear other units' conversations when standing near the AC vents. Picking up after pets is an issue as well. Overall, this is a great place to live.

Things have improved greatly The current office staff is working hard to make the Epic a great place to reside The grounds crew has done a good job keeping the grounds up The sprinkler system was done for sometime and the grass died but repaired now and operational Need to replace dead grass

It has been very positive and professional. I am very happy with the Epic Gateway in Pinellas Park. The location is excellent and the grounds very professionally maintained. The common areas are well appointed with a very nice gym, pool and entertainment area with pool table, which we use regularly.

It has changed. Maintenance used to be prompt, Manager was more approachable and made contact with renters. On a positive note the landscaping has improved. I am seeing a huge turnaround in employees. Sad, because we love the location and really enjoyed living here in the beginning.

Great community, great management, great amenities! Been living here for a few weeks and love how spacious the place is. My only complaint is regarding how thin the floor/ceilings are. The sound from your above neighbor will bother you all day and likewise to your below neighbor. Also the walls are thin and the doors slamming all the time can be annoying. Overall, this is a small apartment community so not much outside noise or activity. Plenty of parking and considerate neighbors. No craziness or partying that I have noticed.

Absolutely love this place. I just renewed my lease and was happy to do so. The grounds are kept in beautiful condition. The amenities here are outstanding. The gym, sauna and locker rooms are my favorite amenities to use. Maintenance is always super nice and helpful and actually fixes what needs to be fixed the first time around. They pressure wash the hallways regularly which keeps it looking clean. I have no trouble with noisy neighbors and every person I have seen passing in the hallways are always friendly. The monthly activities are a lot of fun to do. Wine night, bingo night, movie night, etc. It's also close to the interstate which is highly convenient for me. The employees in the front office are always professional and courteous when I need to speak with them. The interior of the apartments are gorgeous.

This community is upclass and its seen in every place be it at pool, community centre or anywhere it looks and feels very up market. The Plus point of this community is it size as its very small in size the team is able to manage it well.

it is wonderful i love living here, the people in the office are so willing to please, they can't do enough for you, and the maintenance people, they know there stuff and get he job done quickly, they are polite and courteous, I highly recommend this place.

This community has stayed true to its name... Epic! The staff is available and prompt at handling any questions or issues! Great amenities, location, respectful and clean community, great pool and exercise facility, gated, tall ceilings (huge plus), and ceiling fans with lights (another plus)! Overall, Epic at Gateway has been a great place to live and I recommend it to anyone looking in the St. Pete or Pinellas Park area!
