Great Service and Atmosphere!

We love it here, our work requests are handled the same day, much to our surprise. Our last apartment place we had to beg. The people working here take pride in their job. The office has been very helpful and they are always nice when we call. The landscaping is very nice and we love the lake!<br>Thank you<br>j.jen

If you like mold in your walls live here!

We moved in right before all the hurricane fun. After the first hurricane we had a bit of a leak. It took three requests to get some one to come out and look. With out even checking to see where the water was comming in from he caulked arround the sliding glass door and figured that would fix it. Well, it didn't. Upon inspection you could see that the water was comming in though the wall upstairs. Next hurricane we had a HORRIBLE leak come in that soaked about 5 or 6 square ft of carpet and made the dry wall finnally pucker. After asking 2 times for someone to come out to look, waiting 1 week or more after each request, we had still not heard anything back(that hurricane hit the complex hard so we gave them some time). We knew there were many repairs going on, but all we wanted was a call back and some idea of when they would be comming by. When I went up to the office and told them I had asked twice and gotten no response they told me some one had already come out and looked at it, which I know was a lie because I was in the apartment every day durring their maintenence hours! But the same worker who claimed he had looked at the wall came to my apartment 15 minutes later to looked at the wall, left, and came back with a can of spray paint and painted over all the huge water spots (and got some on the carpet.)He left the door wide open to let out the fumes but didn't bother to find out we have a cat that could have gotten out. The dry wall needs to be replaced and the wall needs to be cleaned out, period! Blue mold spots are now starting to appear! I then asked another 3 times over the span of 2 months for our carpet to be cleaned (the water that came in was brown!) with no result until just recently! <br>This place prides itself on the beautiful landscaping, but the area infront of our patio is full of leftover cement spills that has broken up and overgrown vines that are now covering our patio. We moved here from an apartment that had great maintenence, so we were shocked at how it is here! Find some place else and inquire about what they've done about mold!<br>Also: my car has been dented twice, we get to hear very clearly our upstairs neighbor having sex(and honestly, they're not being loud)and every step he takes. We don't hear our first floor neighbors though.<br>We pay our rent on time every time and keep a clean apartment.

Great Service!

The Manager and her staff do a great job!<br>The service is excellent! My service requests are met far better than any place I have ever lived. The manager calls me back each time to make sure I was ok with the service performed, as usual I have been ! <br>I enjoy my apartment, its HOME!

I used to live there!

I lived at Salwind For 2 years and never had a problem! I am amazed there is a site like this one to go to and view about apartments,!!! <br>Anyway, This is really an ok place to live the employees at Sailwind really care about the place. The maintenance people are on top of their job and the office people go out of their way to please, <br>Overall it was a great place to stay before we bought our home. Thanks to Sherry(my dear friend) for telling me about a great place to voice your opinion. You are the smartest! <br>

Happy For Six Years!!!

I have lived at Sailwind for 6 years and could not be any happier! I guess if things don't go your way when you don't pay your rent you tend to get alittle attitude! You also tend to imagine things! I know the folks that peviously posted and unlike you guys I am happy here. When you mentioned that you were going to post here I just had to check it out and send my reply. Now that your gone our building will be alot better off! No more horseshoes! <br> <br>Even though I have a boyfriend with me I will tell you I feel safe here so thats a bunch of crapola your spitting out! Plenty of women feel the same way... we have a walking club for goodness sakes! <br> <br>As for bugs, keep a clean house and you wont have them! There is pest control weekly... just ask the office staff! <br> <br>Oh.. yeah the apartments older and you can hear some extra things but you can hear stuff anywhere you live. (any apartment) <br>GET A HOME!! <br> <br>Its simple you don't pay your rent,you don't live here or anywhere for that matter. <br> <br>As for the manager and her staff they are the greatest and I have never had a problem with them. I know most of the people feel the same way!! <br> <br>I am glad your gone from here and several other people are too. <br>Learn from your mistakes and pay your rent where your at now! <br> <br>

Prepare to be scared to death

This place is not safe at all for girls! Polk County is a ------ place to start with, but this complex takes the cake. My friend lived there for a year. Everytime I left, I had to have my mace in hand because I was so freaked out. Her neighbor had guys looking in her window and harassing her, slowing down as they drove by to yell at me....and these were all her neighbors! Sprinkler system waters people and sidewalks, not the grass. Horrible water pressure, shoddy linoleum job in the bathroom. Staff is unaccomodating and residents give me the creeps. If you want cheap rent, then fine. But women beware, you will not feel safe here.

Resort Living, Wonderful...I love it!

Sailwind is like a resort! No we do not have room service except for the great 24 hour maintenance, but the grounds are so beautiful it is just wonderful to be able to go out of your apartment and take a stroll around the place. EVERYONE does a great job at Sailwind. Thank you!!

People that really care!

I have lived in apartments most of my life, not in Florida but out of state, Ohio,Colorado and elsewhere. I have never had the pleasure to meet such a caring set of staff or as I call it team members. Sailwind Apartments is a great place to call home. I am very happy I made the decision to make this my residence. The apartments are away from the hustle bustle but not to far from the convienence of shopping. I live at Sailwind because they tucked away from all the road traffic and stores. I often go to the pier and enjoy my newspaper or book. Sundays are the best for that! My dog scooter enjoys it too! <br>Anyway I was just surfing the internet and found this place... Im off to enjoy my Mothers Day...were having a picnic today by the Lake at Sailwinds, then were going to swim. Thank you Sailwind Staff for great place to call home. Happy Mothers Day to all.

The service from the office staff is great! Very caring. They seem to have a strong manager who keeps the team together. You can tell they really like their jobs. It shows! The only time I really see them is the 1st when rent is due. I am saddened by the fact I may have to move due to a job relocation however I would recommend the apartments to anyone needing a nice place to live. My experience here has been wonderful with no complaints.

Poor Quality- if someone showers or flush the toilet you can here it

The amount of rent that is charged to live here does not measure up to the poor quality of the apartments. I will never recommend this place.

Great Choice

If you have decided to make the move to Winter Haven as I have, you must make Sailwind your place to live! I will be buying a home in Winter Haven but while I´m <br>looking my stay here so far has been wonderful! <br>If you want to experiance top of the line people satisfaction visit Sailwind. The employees there are all geared to try there best to make everyone feel welcome and happy. <br>They all go out of there way to help you to make your move absolutely stress free. <br>I am so glad I found them. Upon Review

Upon review of this website Sailwind has the most reviews. I can only come to one conclusion.... they are one of the best. I say this not only from what I have read but I also live here, and have for some time. <br>Maintenence is awesome! I really commend those guys! When a work order is called in it is done same day or within 24 hours. The majority of the time it is done same day. They also leave little notes that you can mail in to rate the service. The Manager also will give you a call to make sure the work was done to your satisfaction. Wow,now are you getting that service anywhere else? By the looks of it no one in the area is!! <br>The office people really seem to care about the people who live here, they are willing to help with just about anything you may need help with. If the leasing agent can not help she always asks the Manager, who also takes her time to solve any problem she can. This is a place where they just don´t move you in and forget you. My lease is coming up for renewal and I will most definately be staying!

Worst place I have ever lived!!

The office manager is very rude! It took three weeks to get a copy of my lease which I should have received 4 mths before that. My car was stolen right out of the front parking lot, and when I told the office manager she was mad and cussing about the police officer not coming to talk to her. You are crazy if you live here! Make sure you lock your car and put a LOJAK on it!

I MOVED TO SAILWIND IN JANUARY 2004. I MUST <br>SAY I AM VERY HAPPY HERE. EVERYONE TREATED ME GREAT! THE OFFICE MANAGER SEEMS TO BE VERY <br>NICE, SHE CALLED ME AFTER I MOVED IN TO MAKE SURE I WAS HAPPY. I HAD TO CALL IN A PROBLEM WITH MY COMMODE AND IT WAS FIXED THE VERY SAME DAY.

Moved Here From Out Of State!

Wow! When I rented the apartment I rented sight unseen except for the pictures I recieved email. I drove 16 hours and when the manager walked me to my apartment all I could say was Wow. I love my apartment. I was made to feel very special. I even got a move in gift! <br>If you are thinking of moving from out of state to Winter Haven Sailwind Apartments is definiately the place! <br>DJ

I lived here from 1999 to 2003. the service was great. If my job didn´t transfer me I would still be there. The manager is awesome. She is so caring and understanding. <br> <br>The grounds were always kept clean, and the paarking was ok, not the best but ok. They have two great pools too. The floorplans are very large in the two bedrooms. <br> <br>Anything we needed in our home, they took care of it. <br> <br>If yoour looking for service you must visit, and stay. <br> <br>

The Best so far!

I love this place! I have a great 2 bedroom and the service has been awesome. Same day service on maintenance, I was shocked. My apartment was ready when I moved in I even got a gift! I made the right choice

I am so very glad to live at Sailwind. I made the best choice when I decided to live here. I have never been happier at any other apartment complex as this one. When I <br>have a maintenance problem it is taken care of within that same day. I did have a problem that the Manager helped me with and I am very thankful to her. It seems to me that she as well as the people that work with her really care about the place.

Very satisfied

I´ve lived in this facility for two and half years and I am getting ready to sign my lease for a third year. Yes, it´s a small apartment, but I am one person so it is sufficient for me, and I knew how big it was before I moved in because I viewed it. They have a model of the apartments you can look at before you move in and I knew what I was getting beforehand. <br> <br>Also, I knew when I signed my lease what the penalities for breaking the lease would be. Every apartment complex I looked at had penalties for breaking a lease. <br> <br>Yes, I can hear the person above me walking, but everywhere I´ve lived I´ve heard the person above me. I also have people behind me and to the side of me and I *never* hear them. When I am leaving my apartment and I leave my tv on, as soon as I close the door I can no longer hear it. It is so peaceful where I live, I love it. The grounds are beautiful and one of the main attractions for me when I was visiting various apartment sites. <br> <br>The only reason I did not give maintenance a 5 is because when I first moved in I had many problems with my air conditioner, and it wasn´t until new management took over that it was finally fixed. Now, when I have a maintenance request it is fixed the same day if I call early enough. If I call after hours and it´s not an emergency, they fix it the next day. I have never had to call back and remind them to fix something. <br> <br>I have had emergency maintence requests approximately four times, and each time they were at my apartment within 30 minutes, even after hours. <br> <br>The office staff is friendly and the times I have had something I wanted to discuss with management, she was willing to listen and fix whatever I had a problem with. It is because of this treatment that I am signing a lease for a third year. <br> <br>The apartments recently upgraded all the laundry facilities and it is 100% better. No more losing money in machines, and the machines do not break down like they did before. I am very pleased with the new facilities. <br> <br>I felt as though I needed a bigger apartment, and had planned to move, but after reviewing the situation, I have decided I will remain at Sailwinds until I buy a house of my own. The main reason I am remaining at Sailwinds is the treatment I receive. Management takes my concerns seriously and maintenance fixes any problems I have very quickly. <br> <br>

the worst manager ever

our life at the apartment was nice and quiet except when we had to deal with the manager. She is rude, unpolite and extremately xenofobic in my opinion. <br>We have moved from there in part for this reason, and when she told us in a very rude manner what was the price for breaking our lease we felt as if we were buying our freedom. <br>We don´t know what is the opinion of the owners about the situation, but they should do something about it!
