Post Riverside apartment complex used to be very nice but the staff and residents have changed drastically. Time to move, not worth the high rent for the level of living. Staff is very rude and the residents they allow in aren't being screened. Maintenance staff is very good, they are quick and helpful.

Love it here! Great location. Moved here in 2018 to a remodeled unit. Everyone is so friendly and it's quiet too! Could not be happier with my decision to live at Post Riverside! Beautiful grounds too!

Love the area. Close to shopping, walking, work. Easy access to 75 and 285. The garden is a great place to grow plants and meet neighbors. Hopefully a new restaurant will replace the old one. First Christmas looking forward to see what the community does

Love my place, love the space. I enjoy the garden area and walking my dog along the river which is in close proximity. The pool is nice, quiet until school is out, the maintenance team are always polite and processional.

It is well maintained and the overall complex is attractive. IT is nice having a restaurant again. The "refreshing" of the units is not to our taste but is ok. The carpets especially are a bother to keep clean and will wear quickly. The gray, wood-look sheet vinyl in the living areas and baths is fairly realistic but again is not to our taste. Nice complex but the updating will be dated in a few years.

Post Riverside properties is a beautiful place to live in terms of location and property amenities. If you are looking for a place with polite, helpful, and knowledgeable leasing agents and maintenance technicians this is NOT the place to live! About 7-8 months ago I reported a water leak. The maintenance team came to my apartment the next day and stated that the leak was fixed. After entering in 3 work orders for the same leak over a course of 7 months, my neighbor below me reported a leak coming from his ceiling. It is customary for the property and maintenance manager to walk you through how they plan on rectifying the issue (replacing the damaged wood and mold remediation). Instead, I was not contacted or notified by neither the maintenance or the property manager. I had to reach out to determine if the leak was even fixed. This situation began on 11/13/18 and it is now 12/19/18 and I still have a rotting wood board under my cabinets and a missing baseboard. The property managers are unresponsive and they literally could not care any less about their residents and their health. I attempted to escalate this issue to the regional manager and my calls were never returned. To be honest, NEVER LEASE FROM POST PROPERTIES. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! I have had a great experience with Matrix properties in the past but I would NEVER suggest Post Riverside. NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Please don't put yourself in a position to deal with the professional incompetence here. I am looking forward to a response from the leadership team but I doubt they will respond. What is really funny is that the team knew that they were wrong because they never (NOT ONCE) asked me to file the damage on my renter's insurance. They fixed it for free! They are sneaky and underhanded. One word for Post Riverside.....TRASH (insert all synonyms GARBAGE, DEBRIS, JUNK, RUBBISH). PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE. SAVE YOURSELF!!!!

We've lived at Post Riverside for the past 4 months. Several times, we've had other residents ask us if we've had our mail was missing. Up until recently, we had not experienced the problem. However, over the past 5 days, we have not received mail. We were concerned as our son's birthday was on 11/25 and he was expecting birthday cards. Today, I checked the mail and noticed several boxes were broken into. I took pictures of the broken boxes. I spoke with Allison in property management and she was very apologetic, but offered no solutions. I took Alison to the mailroom to show her the broken boxes. Again, she was respectful and apologetic, but offered no solution. Then, I noticed cameras in the mailroom. I asked Alison whether there would be video of mailroom activities. She said the cameras only picked up certain activity. I don't believe the cameras are operational as I have seen other similar cameras that activate red LED lights when activity is registered. There was no indication of activity even though we were standing right in front of the camera. Again, I took pictures. Don't rent an apartment at Post Riverside if you want to ensure you receive mail. Also, I've begun taking pictures of dog droppings in the hall way - which are a regular event. I plan to post the pictures in another review.

Very inviting community. Apartment is in great shape. The gated parking deck is a very good accommodation. The pool is always clean in the summer. The community is good with awesome shops and a new Italian restaurant. Landscape is always perfect. Very responsive maintenance. Very satisfied with my living arrangements.

Great, no real complaints! I lived next to a very loud neighbor and complained once to the leasing office, but it never really stopped. They suggested I contact the courtesy officer as it was happening, but most of the time he was loud late at night and I didn't really feel like having to call a courtesy officer when I was already trying to get back to sleep. He has since moved, and I really think it was just an unlucky one-off situation. Maintenance wasn't as quick as I would like once or twice but only because the service is usually so excellent that waiting a few days became abnormal to me.

This is very clean apartment complex off the main road but convenient to Cumberland Mall area. The campus has 2 restaurants and other commercial businesses. Reasonably priced and units are inside so utility costs are low.

I have been living at this apartment since starting 2017. I really love this community. This place brings beautiful things to enjoy throughout the seasons of the year. My two girls enjoy spring when we go for a walk in the trails inside the complex. They love looking at the beautiful flowers and butterflies fluttering by. Summer is awesome for them. They can't wait to jump in the swimming pool. Great thing we have two very nice pools to pick from. Fall is awesome with the activities the community offer to the residents. Can not mention the lights that decorate the complex in winter which are wonderful!

First, if you have heard of Post you probably recognize it as a well regarded higher end brand of apartments in the area. This isn't Post though as they have sold out to a company called MAA. Most of the staff and processes have turned over. The attitude of the office staff is noticeably different and less caring. They aren't horrible, but not exactly friendly either. We keep getting emails about issues in the community (trash, pets) and the tone is as if we are being scolded. The new leases seek to nickel and dime you with fees as compared to the old ones (cleaning fees,insurance compliance, etc). The on site maintenance guy has been good though. It also used to have relatively affluent residents, but it seems to be getting younger with more instances of bar goers loudly returning home at 3am. The location of the community is great with easy access to the freeway inside 285, restaurants nearby and it's right next to the Chattahoochee and hiking trails. The gym and central square are nice as well. The buildings though are old and suffer maintenance issues. I have had several water leaks from upstairs and within my own apartment since living here and the apartment now has a distinct mold smell. They recently reduced the water pressure across the community as these issues were pervasive to prevent further pipes from breaking. When you have a leak you often have 4 or more days with blowers and a dehumidifier in your apartment and maybe have to have the floor fixed, so maintenance guys in an out. Neighbors have told me that they were unable to get cosmetic stuff like touch up painting done for long time residents. In addition to being old, the walls are fairly thin and you hear the thumping of your upstairs neighbor walking around, can feel the vibration of people going up the metal stairs, can hear conversations, etc. I had one upstairs neighbor that seemed to walk like 10 miles a day in their apartment and it was fairly annoying, but overall my neighbors have been fairly quiet. I stayed here mainly because of the location, but am looking forward to leaving soon. It's not a terrible place to live, but not really living up to what once was the "Post standard" so maybe there are better options out there.
