Community great, apartment for the price can be better, I really thought that I was getting a better apartment when I left 808. Had heating issues there, and the equipment was older. I truly believe in the new owners, because I've seen the work being done, most pleased the progress.

The community has been sold to ECI Property Managment and the new name is The Columns at Vinings. I have been living at this property since February 2013 and every year there was an entirely new staff in the leasing office. Most of the staff have been unprofessional and ------. So now with an entirely new property management company I thought things would be different in the office but no it's not, when I have had questions they cut me off before I finish asking thinking they know what I'm asking. A few days after Christmas they put a letter on my door notifying me that my apartment was "randomly" selected to be renovated but I am welcome to transfer to another apartment at the current rate which is $300 more. Clearly this is because they value more money instead of residents that stay and pay their rent. DON'T MOVE HERE

My roommate and I love the location and like the previous reviewer said, this place is affordable and nicely tucked away. However, we have experienced nothing but issues from before we've moved in and management has been really friendly but has not followed through with anything. We have a laundry list of problems and gross photos of broken tiles, dirty window sills, stapled doors, and other terrible "bandaids" to actual problems. It took a week for our A/C to be fixed in 80 degree weather and then the maintenance guy left an insulting comment on the form left in our apartment about how to keep our A/C costs down when it was clearly not working. I've been very disappointed by management's follow through and our maintenance requests are deleted after we've submitted them and they've been "fixed." The laundry room is always disgusting, the mailboxes are halfway open, there is not outgoing mail box, and there is always trash in the parking lot. The only reason I didn't give this one star is because of the location and the cost.

I've been a resident since 2013, and I must admit that I love living here. No place is perfect, but there perfect enough for me. It takes about 2-5 days for a work order to get answered, but that's understandable considering the number of units. The landscaping is the staff is courteous, funny and personable. Gennysis is an excellent property manager, and you got love Ashleys spunk and smile. This place is convenient to everything!!!

I have lived at 1900 Vinings Apartments (formerly Tamarron at Vinings) for nearly five years and we love it here. I have never experience any problems with the management staff who is always friendly and professional and any maintaince requests are answered by the staff right away. I love the community in very quiet and the ground are always clean. The convenience of having grocery store and restaurants within walking distance.

The model apartment is very nice but it's nothing like the apartment itself. I have only been here 6 months and I have made more complaints than I should have. The property itself is very nice, i feel very safe, and it is very convenient to I-285 and 75S/N.... I have an upgraded unit and I wasnt allowed to see my apartment before moving in, my unit still had someone else's belongings on my move in date, renovations are poorly put together. My cabinets doors has fallen off, my floor feels like it is sinking in, a/c problems, my walls look like they painted over something, my stove was not clean upon move in date.... I'm so ready to move!!!!

I moved here December 2016 and I wish I kept looking. Of course the model apartment is nice to look at and I can't lie I fell in love with it! I was forced to downgrade to a classic model and I was assured it is the same floor plan and I was shown pictures which didn't look that bad. Fast forward to moving in, it looks nothing like those pictures. I feel like ------ fooled me by showing me pictures of something that wouldn't be my apartment. I wasn't even allowed to see the apartment before move in which was also awful. During walk through, many things didn't get fixed and others took forever to. (Still a gaping whole in the storage closet and gas leak took weeks to go away). Now the leak. First time the A/C unit leaked from upstairs I believe. But the second time; I called around 1pm to get it checked cause I felt water once again. Fast foward to me getting off work my entire bedroom is flooded! I was livid cause I spoke with ------ prior to me leaving for work and nothing was done. I am counting down the days until I leave this place because I can't take anymore of this.

I've lived in a few apartments and besides living in the ------ when I was younger this is the worst experience yet. My rent is not cheap and I feel like the office staff and maintenance treats issues as if I'm living rent free. I'm not entirely sure if the disconnect is with the staff, maintenance or both. But I will never live in another Fogelman property because of this. The incompetence is mind-boggling. Mind you I've never written a poor review about an apartment complex, so that says a lot. Maintenance issues take forever to fix, even when following up. My window has been broken since the day I moved in. It has a big crack in it. Almost 90 days later, it still hasn't been fixed. My toilet has been broken for going on two weeks. After following up several times and calling corporate, it still isn't fixed. I can go on and on and on. Sometimes they send out emails about packages and sometimes they don't. They aren't required to send out emails, but if you start then be consistent. As for the exterior of the complex, they keep it up. It is very nice. As for the breezeways, they can do a bit better, but it's not bad at all. Now the inside is a different issue. In addition to the non-existent maintenance, the renovations are poorly done, poor paint jobs, poor trim, poor flooring. Everything is really a patchwork job. The floors creak, it's just horrible. The knobs on the tubs are old and don't turn properly. I put in a maintenance request for a new knob the day I moved in. It took 60 days for me to get a new one. The maintenance guy knocked on the door and he had to tell me what he was there for as with so many open issues I had no clue. After 60 days I don't even know why you're showing up at my door and the office did not even inform me. I have no screen on my master bedroom window. I haven't complained about it. Why add to the list of the other items they will never get to? Oh and the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything! Oh yeah and it took me a month to get a new set of mailbox keys. The original set never worked. I informed them and followed up numerous time. After more than a month went by they finally had a new set ready. Baffled. Do yourself a favor and move to one of the other nearby communities. It can't get any worse.

This apartment looks beautiful from the outside and with a 10 minute walk-thru, but moving in has been nothing but PROBLEMS. I ignored all of the bad reviews and decided to move in anyway because of location and outer appearance, but I repeat DO NOT MOVE IN HERE unless you want to pay $1000 for a 25 year old kitchen model, water leaks, broken disposal, crappy A/C, paint chipping sinks and walls, etc. Not worth it and my family is very upset because this place could be really nice. There is also no recycling, just trash.

I've been a resident for just over 2 years. After getting off to a rocky start, I have to say that the new management has really made a wonderful difference! They communicate with us more often, and keep us in the loop when things are changing. Also, they are helpful and very polite. They have improved the common facilities greatly, including a very clean laundry room.

I've been here a few years and I can't honestly say, things have improved exponentially with the new management. The last bunch weren't so great, but the new crew is the complete opposite. Huge thanks to Kris for getting everything taken care of so promptly and keeping me in the loop. Keep it up!

I wanted to let everyone out there know that the new management is really making a difference. It was bumpy in the beginning but we are glad we stayed. We would recommend this community to anyone. Maintnence has gotten much better and the girls in the office are very helpful and friendly. I plan to stay for a long time.

I just want to say that I can really see a positive change in the last few months. So refreshing to have my service requests done timely and the people in the office are friendlier now. I would haven't recommended this place, but now I do.

Please...Please....Please avoid this apartment complex. I lived here and had was the WORSE experience. Management does not respond to emails, complaints and concerns. They were often non responsive to maintenance request until I physically went into the office. They make it a priority to keep the outside grounds clean, neat and well manicured but this is where it ends. It took nearly 3 months to get an ice maker fixed (summer months), my bathtub was falling in and it took over a month before they called in a professional contractor to repair. The most disturbing was the furnace leaked gas fumes, Atlanta Gas Light came and turned it off stating they were not up to code and the following morning maintenance came and turned it back on, this happened twice. There was indeed a gas leak and management did not take it seriously, Atlanta Gas Light came out the 2nd time and repaired the problem. I am a middle aged professional with an amazing career. I paid my rent on time every month and when I finally moved out due to a major health diagnosis I left the apartment cleaner than it was when I moved in. My issues are well documented and I would not advise anyone to move in this complex, if possible increase your budget and find another complex to reside in. I had to give them one star for the outside grounds and upkeep.

I really like the grounds of the apartments and the staff is very nice, however I received the keys to my apartment and I can't move in because my hot water isn't working. I haven't received a full explanation as to why there isn't any hot water. My unit has new appliances which I am grateful for, but I signed for a classic unit that included washer and dryer. I now have to purchase my own washer and dryer which is a large expense that I was not prepared for. Overall I truly believe this complex has potential once the new staff can fix the issues and get it up and running. I'm trying to be patient and pray for the best.

I have only been here for a little over than a month and honestly this is the worst experience I have ever had at an apartment complex. From the very beginning up until now this leasing office has been unorganized. I was supposed to move on on June 18th and upon the date of move in was advised my unit was not available because it still needed to be clean, etc. I finally moved in on June 22nd and nothing was complete several things were wrong with the unit primarily a fridge that was disgusting and should never have been in there in the first place. Once management received pictures the fridge was replaced, however there were other issues like drawers and smoke detectors that weren't even addresses until weeks later after initial move in...a week in to the move there were roaches! Although I reported it to staff as well as sent in a service request I had to wait two weeks for pest control to come. After that and my own bomb I didn't have any more issues but because the non renovated unit was so disgusting and not clean upon arrival I opted to move into a renovated unit once available August 1st. I had a minor issues with the readiness of my new unit but it is a major improvement from the first! Now I get home and discover my items have been moved around including my bed and furniture without my knowledge of anyone even coming to my unit. Crazy thing is if maintenance or whoever is going to show up unannounced why are they not fixing the shower rod that is dittached from the wall? Why are they not fixing the piece of wood that was just laying on my bathroom floor but supposed to be attached to the bathroom counter structure? I received no note as to why anyone was even in here or why they needed to move anything for that natter!! Enough is enough the lack of communication amongst employees of this establishment and or maintenance is unacceptable and the only good thing about this complex is Ashley. If it wasn't for her I would've jetted a month ago. Get it together I am a paying customer who works hard for day to night and the last thing I should have to deal with after my 12 HR days is this nonsense smh

Maintenance is terrible. Waited months for simple appliance repairs which happen only after numerous emails and phone calls (appliances 30 yrs old in some units and are just swapped out for other old appliances, rather than replaced when they go bad). Even then, the maintenance is poor and never truly fixes the problem. Plus they leave a mess behind. Apt upstairs had water leak. They turned off the water and never came back to check mine. The ceiling is coming down in the utility room and there is mold. The model is beautiful but the apartment you get is no where near as nice, which they won't let you see until you sign your lease (ie carpet is extremely cheap with no padding, appliances rusted and dented etc). On my move in, the apt I was given had kicked in cabinets with half the doors missing, a hood vent that had caught fire and was spray painted over, linoleum in bathroom torn and stunk like urine, toilet seat broken, tile falling off the wall in the shower, broken closet doors etc. It took months for these things to be fixed and not properly and I was told to my face it sounded like I just wouldn't be a good fit for the property when I complained. While for the most part the staff are polite, there have been a few times (always the same person) who has belittled and been nasty with me and treats me as if I'm unreasonable expecting prompt maintenance (after numerous messages are left and no one returns my calls. (the website says non emergency within 48 hours). Security is a joke. Parking lot lights out for months and the front gate always stuck open (it hasn't worked properly more than 2 days in a row for a year). Emails are never or rarely ever responded to. The law states mgt must give 48 hours notice to enter your apartment yet notes are left on doors late at night the day before fire inspections, building maintenance etc. Giving you no time. Overall this is the worst rental experience I've ever had in my 30 years as a renter in Atlanta. Rents are raised by 10% with no upgrades to your apartment. They are quick to remind you of the rules in your lease regarding notice etc, but they NEVER follow them themselves. Contacting corporate is not an option as they immediately refer you back to the local office.

1900 Vinings is a great place to live. The location is excellent as you are about 10 mins from midtown, buckhead and downtown. The staff is amazing...Elise and Faith do an amazing job and will find an apartment that suits your needs. I've lived here for two years and look forward to many more. I definitely recommend this property.

I have lived at 1900 Vinings since 2007. I love the staff at this property. The exterior upgrades they made in 2014 are excellent, and give the apts more of a modern look. The staff is very kind. Faye has assisted me with various nonemergency issues over the years and she gets things done very quickly. Not to mention she is a very nice person. The other office staff are very courteous, sweet, nice and professional. Dwight one of the more tenured maint. staff helped me with a personal problem. Dwight fed my cat when I was out of town as a favor. I truly appreciate him for doing this because it's not in his job description, but he was kind enough to help me out. I truly appreciate all the maint staff. Lajohn and Kenny and one more gentleman on staff have all helped me with various issues with my appliances. They are all kind professional and reliable. I enjoy living at 1900 Vinings and I would recommend these apartments to anyone who wants to live in the Vinings area. There is a nice Kroger around the corner...lots of cute restaurants and it's only a 7 min drive to Cumberland Mall. The rent is more cost efficient than most of the apartments on Paces Ferry Road, which is minutes away. The property is always well groomed and landscaping staff come 1x a week. Great job 1900 Vinings!!!

I have lived here for more than 2 years and i have enjoyed the experience. The office and maintenance staff are very nice and quick to assist when an issue may arise. I have never had any problems with slow maintenance requests. The maintenance staff are very friendly and have always helped me quickly and with a smile. The only problem i have experienced while living here, but not constantly, is the thin windows in the bedrooms. I have been able to hear conversations of people walking by on the road from my bed. Overall, I would say that this is a great place to live. Friendly staff, close to 285 and Atlanta, and and nice activity center.
