Will not be re singing my lease. Very bad experience. I had to get an attorney involved due to non-compliance with maintenance requests. I love the price but the building is old and even the newly remodeled apartments are still problematic because the plumbing and other features were not taken care of. The closet doors and bathtubs were repainted and not updated.

    The Columns at Vinings is a nice, quiet, and wooded environment but conveniently located near major highways. The updated apartments are beautiful. The office staff and maintenance staff is always helpful and courteous.

      I have been a resident here for eight years. I have been very please with the complex. I love the location! I love that I can walk to the grocery store or walk to a restaurant to have wonderful dinner.

        So dissatisfied and disappointed in this community in this preferred area of Vinings! Not what I expected at all. I pay to much money for the conditions these apartments are in. Their upgrades are mediocre compared to the rent I pay every month. Plus all utilities are additional! Not to mention the only way you pay rent is via online... So fraustrating, no convience to the tenant what so ever. Maintenance here is a joke and be prepared to live w/ your problems for the duration of your lease such as I have! I lived here for roughly 10 months and I'm NOT resigning!

          Bad impression. Apartment wasnt ready upon moving in, work was done sloppy, and still having issues with leaking and other minor things. The office staff are very unprofessional, not truth worthy, nonchalant, & not considerate.

            This has been the worst living experience ever! I feel like I live in THE SLUMS OF VININGS! Currently as of 05/13/18 I am sitting in a hotbox, my apartment! Been having issues with it since 09/28/17 when I moved in! Luckily winter came and I didn't have to press the issue. Now it's spring and 90 degrees outside and for whatever reason 89 degrees in my apartment isn't an emergency! I have given them plenty time to fix the issue but they don't care about current tenants. They are just trying to renovate unoccupied units to raise the rent! If this issue isn't fixed by 06/01/18 I will not be paying rent and finding another place to live & going to court to show all my evidence that they have neglected to provide me with a reasonable living environment! Location: Great. Price: I gotta good rate, I wouldn't move here at their current rate! Not for these problems! Maintenance: Out of sight & non responsive! Probably overwhelmed with all the resquest! Staff: 1 lady is very helpful, I wish I could remember her name. I haven't had much communication with them I've just been trying to pay rent and live! But since this issue they've only made excuses instead of being proactive. Why should they, their A/C is blowing extremely cold, no worries!

              HORRIBLE, everyone in the main office has quit, says a lot. No one does what they say and it is very frustrating on so many levels. I would recommend fixing everything about this complex starting with the staff.

                My experience of my 6 years of living here have been good, however with a few bad experiences and issues. Ultimately I have had some communication and maintence problems that have not been handled in a timely manner though I do look forward to the above being rectified for any future problems that occur.

                  Ive had many issues with the apt including plumbing. I had a leak in my apt due to old pipes, they had to tear down the ceiling in multiple places from my kitchen to living room to the hallway. There are still some pipes leaking very little amounts of water, but i can tell its starting to create some mold. I also had some issues with my tub. Really large cracks. A month or two ago they had someone come resurface it. The cracks are starting to reappear. The tab foundation was not laid down correctly leaving pocket holes of air resulting in the cracks. Prior to moving in, the renovations were done that week of me moving in in march. The apt requested was not the apt i wanted. I love the neighborhood and the layout of the apt is not bad, but there are a lot of underlying issues with the apt, ie, old plumbing, quick renovations, etc.

                    This community is the best bargain for the area. Very convenient location and the price won't break the bank. I personally haven't been living here for long but I have a lot of experience with this community because several relatives and friends have lived here. I have been seeing slight improvements with new management. But overall, I would say if I made enough money to live in another community in this area I would move in a heartbeat.

                      The experience has been great. The landscape and nature in the property is beautiful. There is a nice quiet atmosphere on the grounds as well. The repairmen have been great in handling problems in the apartment. It's been a good experience for the most part.

                        Maintenance is horrible. The response time is ridiculous. Communication concerning maintenance is horrible. Would be better if you were kept in the knowing concerning your requests. The lighting outside the building is bad as well.

                          Needs a children's play area not just a dog park especially near the picnic pavilion. I was excited and thought that was what was being built. I don't have a dog and will be afraid to use the picnic area if the vicious dogs are in the dog park area.

                            I've only been here a week. All went smoothly until move-in day. There was no washer/dryer in the apartment, and no knowledge of when one will be installed. One issue, no hot water, was addressed after two days, and by asking two different office reps. Other issues still waiting for action. The apartment area is nice, but the back of the apartments, where many have their patios, has accumulated litter.

                                This is a nice, safe, friendly community. The office staff are nice and helpful. The grounds are well kept and clean. There is a very nice comfortable community room. The work out space is state of the art. I feel safe and secure.

                                  I moved here the first time in 2009-2016 then I moved back in 2017 to present. It's close to everything. Its quiet. The have a new friendly office staff. Alot of new changes to the apts and grounds which is good to see.

                                    Don't move here!!! Gate never works!! If you need anything fix it will take months or probably won't ever get fixed. Novweights in the gym. Poor lighting throughout the complex. They do not post water bill on time.

                                            I thought that when the new company ECI took over in 2017 it would be better than the previous company, but it is not much better. It took almost 2 weeks for me to get my air working, and the temperatures were in the 80's and some 90's. I am not happy with the company.

                                              When the apartment was owned by Fogleman it was horrid. Since ECI has owned the property the improvements have been wonderful.                                                 The area is awesome. Very convenient to everything you want to do. Seems to be a 20-30 minute commute to anywhere in the city. The grounds are being upgraded and they are pretty clean. The activity center and pool area are pretty nice also.

                                                  The Column at Vinings is in a great location. Near downtown and everywhere else around Atlanta. Cumberland Mall is super close and tons of restaurants. The layout of the apartments is nice and homie. The balcony's and window in the bathroom is awesomeness.
