You get what you pay for, the quality is low but nothing unlivable. The heating/cooling system is loud and nothing fits in the top kitchen cabinets. The bedroom has a lot of windows that are not well insulated. I can hear everything from outside (by leasing office) and from the main street. Work orders for repairs seem to be answered pretty quickly. But I've had 2 ceiling leaks in this first year of renting, door handle repair, AC repair, and bathroom fan repair. I'm not sure why the shower has a window- it's strange design and gross wet blinds. The smoke detector is ultra-sensitive. Alarm sounds sometimes just from the oven preheating and nothing inside. Have to cook with stove fan on and balcony door open just to avoid smoke detector sounding off just in case.

I used to work here in the past so I am already familiar with the property. The property features "like-new" apartments. It has a clubhouse that has great potential and a big size fitness center which I love.

I recently lived at the columns for a few months around summer 2020. I had no complaints with living here, I only moved due to recent circumstances. (Please see previous review) I recently found myself in a situation where I needed to rapidly change my living situation again. The Columns was the first place I thought about moving to due to safety, price, and location; but most importantly due to Cedric Hope in the leasing office. Cedric was amazing during my first time moving here, so I figured I would stop by to see what my options were. Cedric was SO helpful during the entire process. He showed me all of my options & was able to get me into an apartment within only a couple of days. I was a little indecisive when picking which apartment I wanted & Cedric was able to help me make the best decision for me. Cedric's infectious personality helped lift my spirits in what was a very unpleasant situation I was in. He gave me solid advice, made me laugh & treated me as if he'd knew me his whole life. I have never experienced a more friendly & dedicated employee when going through the process of finding an apartment. The main reason I am coming back to the columns is because of Cedric, that should tell you just how amazing he really is. I appreciate all of his time & effort to make this a smooth transition for me!

The office staff here has been phenomenal, very friendly, extremely helpful and incrediblely easy to work with. The grounds are pretty good but could be better. Although it's not as quiet as I would like, the neighbors are pretty friendly.

Nice area. Cute apartments. Great price considering we are in vinings which is normally expensive. With these apartments you are picking location over sq ft. The amenities are ACTUALLY accessible. The pool, the gym, the clubhouse to host private events if you wish or just to chill yourself. ALL ACCESSIBLE. So, that's awesome. Not the most kid friendly development in terms of landscaping. Not for kids to just be able to kick a ball around. Does have a cute dog park. Good for singles, couples with no kids and if you have a kid more likely an older one. These are the people would benefit the most from these apartments.

Nice affordable apartments in a clean and quiet neighborhood. Staff is friendly, responsive, and caring - geniunely remembering and taking interest in renters. This community seems to cater towards young adults, but there are a handful of families as well - I have enjoyed my experience so far and think this is much nicer than most apartments at this price point.

Community is great. My apt has not. Too many roaches, bed bugs, carpet bugs. Problems with toilet flush, rat noises in the wall. The pandemic brought out all the discrepancies with my apt unfortunately. Office staff is great but unfortunately apt never lived up to standards

This is a nice, quiet community with friendly neighbors. It's gated for added safety and the community has been kept clean so far. The gates are left open occasionally but I feel safe and secure in this community.

When I walked in into the leasing office. I was welcome with warmth and a happy face by Cedric Hope. Just like all the reviews I saw after I decided to move in, I was pleased to work with him. He made me feel right at home and the application process was super quick. The Columns at Vinings has updated apartments in a convenient location(right near 285 and Kroger). I have enjoyed living in my 1 bedroom apt. The appliances and carpet were brand new upon move in. The downside would be the small size and lack of storage (no pantries at all). Upsides are the patios, in unit w/d and the quiet community.

Been terrible dark parking lot drab looking with no security management don't seem to care there's spider webs and debris in the breeze ways..there's always trash build up at the sufficient lighting around the mailbox area.

My experience at The Columns at Vinings has been really good. The location of the community and design of the apartments are a good find for a great price. The gym and clubroom areas are really great as well. The staff is attentive and friendly and the maintenance crew do a great job also.

Honestly this community is amazing! I have a one bedroom newly renovated apartment with granite countertops in both the kitchen and the bathroom and all new appliances. The front office is so amazing I had a few problems when I first moved in and I have them a list and they fixed almost all of it within the first day which was incredible! The clubhouse is 10/10 and the pool looks incredible I can't wait for the summer! The bar across the street is so warm and inviting and close enough to have a few good drinks and you can walk over there so easily! Definitely check out this apartment complex if you want to live in vinings.

Allison the manager and David the Service manager are AMAZING. Just real people that are approachable, and take the time to treat people well. Of course, there are issues living in an older building, and Smyrna is "up & coming", so this community is one of the "older" ones, but they make me WANT to live here. I feel like I am in good hands. Do not move here. I applied on Friday 11/8/19 and got approved. They said they would have my lease and welcome letter over to me the following day, I am trying to move in on 11/15/19, which is quick. I got the paperwork emailed to me and both the welcome letter and lease weren't matching up, and also didn't have everything that I had on my application. I emailed Nicole back, 3 times, she didn't respond. I then called on Monday, 11/11/19, and spoke with Nicole and told her what the discrepancies were with the paperwork, she assured me that she would fix them and send new ones over. I never recieved them. So then the next day 11/12/19, 3 days before moving day I tried calling the office and got no answer, so I decided to go to the leasing office. Nicole was off. So I spoke to another gentleman, which assured me I could speak with the property manager in 20 minutes since she was in a meeting. I went back, they then told me that she was busy. I feel like they have been dragging me in circles and don't care about their prospective renters. I can only imagine how bad it would be if their was an emergency or maintenance issue.
