DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!! Has been a nightmare since day 1. First of all, when we were supposed to move in they called us and said the middle floor apartment we were going to be in still had a tenant that decided to renew their lease last minute so we got stuck on the ground floor. Every time it rains our patio completely floods or there are roaches on it everywhere. Everytime the bushes in front of our patio get trimmed they end up all over our patio. Right when we moved in our refrigerator had to be replaced because it smelled like gas then two eyes on our stove had to be replaced because they stopped working. Our neighbor next to us had water coming into their bedroom which soaked his carpet and all they did was come clean the carpet. I can't even vacuum our carpet because the carpet is such disgusting quality it rips pieces of it up. Our air conditioner wasn't working and to be fixed and now will run all day long and never kick off. Our garbage disposal has quit working so has our dishwasher and they said it was our fault. The pool is NEVER cleaned and constantly full of leaves and bugs. Someone should be out there every morning cleaning it. The fitness center is a joke. It's the nastiest oldest equipment I've ever seen. The laundry room is disgusting and hardly works half the time. I know your rents cheap and thats about the only good thing but have you ever heard of updates? And fix the gate!! I'm sick of people waiting for me to swipe my card to follow me in. And empty the dumpster more often. That's what we're charged that fee for right?! And how about the nasty people that are too lazy to even put their trash in the dumpster? I hate living here. We are looking for something new ASAP and I will be sure to tell everyone I know to never live here!! It's the worst management I've ever seen!!

DO NOT BE DECEIVED THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST COMPLEX I HAVE EVER LIVED IN. The maintenance is lazy and NEVER repairs things right the first time. Most repairs take 3 calls to the office before anyone shows up to fix the problem (even when it is classified as an emergency). Repairs generally take two attempts before the maintenance crew fixes it correctly. And it is always your fault that something in the apartment is broken, although they never actually MAINTAIN the property....they only do patchwork. The "security" gate breaks at least once a week and when it does work 4-5 cars can go through at a time. How SECURE is that? The dumpster is often overflowing and there are rats the size of cats running around the property. Unfortunately, I did not take the advice of a former tenant that advised me not to move in, but sadly I did.

This is by far the most filthy, out dated, unsafe place I have ever lived. The security gate is a joke, maintenance is a joke, and they rent to all types of criminals and llowlifes. I have had my apartment broken into and vandalized twice in the last four months in broad daylight. So much for the so-called courtesy officer. I would not recommend these apartments to a stranger, little alone a friend. If I could stand out front with a sign and prevent anyone else becoming a victim, I would. I am breaking my lease and running as far from this ------ as possible.

Great Location - Quiet
I have lived at Tamarron for almost a year now and I love it! When I first moved in the pool area needed work but to my delight when the pool opened this year all previous issues had been taken care of!! The pool looks amazing and maintenance has stayed on top of cleaning it. This complex is so quiet and is in a great location. I am very happing with my home. The staff is great and unlike some complexes the turn over is minimal with the staff which I find to a positive.

Not safe
They still haven't made the community safe by always having lights out around key areas of the complex. I don't feel safe and I am a man, so I am sure np lady I know would want to walk around at night in Tamarron.

I moved here in 2005. The grounds are well kept. The two bedroom apartments are larger than most apartments, and my apartment is well maintained. You have to prod a little to get some harder maintenance done, but otherwise, they do a decent job, and the maintenance guys are very pleasant. I have not seen any shady characters around here, only dog walkers, exercise walkers, and some baby walkers. The pool is great, it is large and always clean--and it has a waterfall. The utilities are high, but the apartments look nice, especially the grounds. Lots of neatly mowed lawns and flowering shrubs and trees. The neighborhood is safe, you see joggers and dog walkers on the walking path along the entrance at all times. I would recommend this complex to anyone because of the staff and all of the above.

Great Staff
Tamarron is the spot! A well kept secret and a apartment commuity place I would recommend to anyone. The ladies of Tamarron (and guys) are a great team and have always been there for me. The staff always keeps me on point for the comings and goings here at Tamarron.

We like it
My husband and I have lived here for a year and have no plans to leave any time soon. We love it and it suits our needs perfectly! We've had no problems with security, parking, or noise since we moved in. The price is great for the area, the apartment is big enough for the both of us, and the location is ideal. We have an end-unit apartment, so noise isn't really an issue for us. We hear the guys above us, but we're on the bottom floor so it's to be expected. The office staff is always friendly. The only downside is that sometimes maintenance can take a minute to get problems fixed, but they usually solve the problem the first time. The location has just about ruined me for Atlanta. It's PERFECT. A block from 285, hardly any traffic, and Smyrna is one of the best areas in Atlanta.

I just moved in last weekend, and here is what I think so far: Office staff: there was a communication issue regarding my lease signing/move-in inspection date. I showed up to do these things and was told the apartment was not ready and that I couldn't do it. I was also told that one of the leasing consultants had called and left messages explaining the situation but I never received them. We rescheduled the appt for the next day and everything went as scheduled. It was a minor inconvenience because I had taken the day off of work to do this, plus driven 30 miles. Other than that, they are very helpful when you call, and always are friendly and greet you when you walk in the office. It is a very inviting atmosphere. Maintenance: Three thumbs up for the maintenance staff!! Every request I had was fixed within an hour or two for minor things, and within 24 hours if it was something complicated. The 2 gentleman that were working in my apt were also very friendly. Grounds: BEAUTIFUL and well-kept. The landscapers seem to be there every Friday. There is plenty of parking and is never junky looking. The pool area is very nice as well, but I did notice a lot of leaves/debris from the trees that are nearby floating in the pool. I feel safe and don't notice a lot of loitering or suspicious people on the grounds. I live on the front end of the property and have not heard the train that is supposedly bothersome that I've read in other posts. Apartment: I LOVE my apartment!! I have a 2BR/2BA and have absolutely no complaints. They used the space very wisely. There is plenty of closet/storage space and I have a LOT of stuff. The kitchen cabinets/counter space is small, but that is common with apartments of this size. Overall I feel I am getting a good value for what I'm paying to live in this area. I have noticed plenty of negative comments on this site, but keep in mind that a lot of people post negativity when something hasn't gone their way. And NO, I am not employed or paid by this community to post positive feedback! My mother is a property manager of 2 different properties, and this place passed her inspection as well :)

True the rent is low for a Vinings complex but you quickly find out that you are not in the area of Vinings that you want to be in. A lot of loitering and no police presence ever. The gate is a joke. Very old appliances that always break or cost tenants money due to gas leaks (have your gas checked by AGL). Rats hang out at night surrounding the dumpster. If you have any maintenance requests, you have to contact the office at least twice. The maintenance staff also leaves a mess when they finish the job. Because the gutters are never cleaned, when it rains, the rain runs down the walls of the building and cause floods around the doors and windows to apartments. The attitude of Cullen (Asst Mgr) is also a joke. It's like you are bothering him when you have to discuss anything with him. I have had to call corporate a few times to get anything done in a timely manner, which caused ill feelings toward me. Pay a little more, live somewhere else. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Great Location
Even thought the apartments are older they are in great shape. I never have to search for a place to park because of ample parking and I can walk across the street to the Kroger. There are lots of great places to eat right around here. Great staff and they are always willing to help out in any way possible.

THIS PLACE SUCKS!
I moved here in January of this year and moved out by march. Even though this place is located in the Vinings, I felt like I was living in the hood! When I moved in I was told that my bathroom cabinets would be installed within the week. They were. But I had water stans on the ceiling, nasty blinds in the bathroom, the windows looked like they had spray paint on them, sinK had rust in it, it constantly smelled of gas and the fridge leaked, I could go on, maintenance was a joke! I put in several work orders with the leasing office to no avail! I forgot to mention that as I was moving in there were 4 police cars blocking me from parking in front of the building because they were "taking care of a dispute" DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!! Oh don't throw trash away at night...Rats resides in the dumpster!

good location, washer dryer included
The location is great. The kitchen is a little small bit it includes the washer and dryer, which is nice. I have not had any problems with the staff, they have always been helpful.

Best location, nice apartment
You can't beat the location. The apartments are a little old but they are well kept and the price makes it worth it. Also the washer and dryer is a great thing.

I like it
I don't have any complaints. I have only had a couple of work orders and they have been taken care of quickly. The staff is always nice when I go to the office. No problems with parking and you can't beat the location.

Going Down Hill
I have lived in this complex for almost 3 years and it is steadily going down hill. The quality of applicant has truly changed. My neighbor leaves trash outside the apt. and there was an instance where her pet left feces on the steps. I had to practically beg to get it removed and finally had to do it myself. I now have to contend with the stench of her pets. If you walk down the steps the breezeway smell is awful. Just ------. On my way out....and by the way it is true about rats around the trash and people just leave their trash outside of the dumpster.

DON'T MOVE HERE!
I moved here less than 3weeks ago and I'm ready to move. I lived here before about 10 yrs ago and it was great! Today is a different story. It's the Vinings but I feel like I live in the ------. My apartment wasn't 'move in ready'. There's a ton of things wrong with my apartment. I think I'm gonna break my lease and move to a community where I don't mind paying my rent. I hate it here!

INFESTED, INFESTED, RAT INFESTED!!!!!!!
Large sewer, NYC-like rats! It's not just the compactor area; they nest in the bushes right along the doors of the apartments and they roam the parking lot. So what can you expect, rats year-round, and snakes in the spring and summer! I know this property is paid-in-full; therefore, the expensive water bills that they collect from residents should probably go towards more RAT maintenance.

Best value in Vinings
I've been a resident here for well over six months and have been impressed with the management team customer service and overall value. Before choosing Tamarron Vinings I researched the majority of apartment communities in Vinings and will assure you this one is the best deal and value for the size, location and easy access to 285/75 and 20. My rent for a two bedroom two full bathroom unit was locked in at only $675 monthly and I have plenty of space and a washer dryer set was included at no extra charge. If you need a friendly person to assist you I recommned contacting Faye. She's cordial, professional and well versed in matching an apartment unit to fit you and your family. Not a safe place!!!
Ok so.. I have been staying here for a minute now and I am ready to move in a heartbeat when my lease is up. Old apartments which are not taken care of. Lat night there was a big drug bust next door. There were five police cars and a police van. They were in the apartment (which got busted) for about four hours. A half a month ago, the maintenance shed got broke into and robbed. There also have been cases of cars being broke into. The water bill is outrages...$50-$90 a month. A/Cs do not work right in the summer. Office staff is horrible. The new girl always has a frown face on and is never happy and energetic. While there are landscaping men out there every single morning cleaning the leaves and creating very annoying noise, the apartment complex should spend more money on fixing the utilities.

Do not move here!!!
Terrible apartments!!! Maintenance writes positive reviews to encourage people to move here. DON'T DO IT!!!! Maintenance is believed to steal from peoples home and the work they do is terrible. PLEASE take my advice!!!

Best Customer Service
I am very happy with the apartment that i am living in right now. The office staff is very helpful in all areas. The maintenance staff is very good at fixing things. I always see the property manager walking on the property to see if anythings needs to be fixed. The apartments might not be the best in the area but, the CUSTOMER SERVICE makes all the difference in the world.
