Exceeded my expectations

I know the community is a little old. But they are in the process of painting the buildings. The inside of my apartment was clean, had new carpet and was freshly painted. They keep the grounds in phenomenal shape and there is never any garbage or assorted stuff lying about. The pet policy is pretty steep. $20 a month per pet, plus a $300 per pet non refundable deposit. Yikes. The staff is super nice and I m really enjoying my apartment. I made the right choice.

    Hire Help

    One of the hire help begs for money and insults the residence by being very imposive and telling the tenants business to all and anyone. That same hire help is very annoying to the point it appears that he attempts to place his presence in folks life that don't want him there to the point whereas you find yourself avoiding him. However the maintance people are fast at order requests. The community would do great if they ran random drug test on their hire help.

      2006-2008 Review

      Live there from 2006 to 2008, so this info is a little dated. But I had problems with the A/C the entire 2 years I lived there. In a terrace level apartment, there were pests, and the toilet ran constantly. On the good side, the grounds were kept up nicely and the location is great. But there are better options.

              The only problem I have is the complex has old stoves,washer/dryer,refrigrator and bathroom sink cabinet all of these things need to be brought up to date.

                A place I call my home

                I have lived here for nearly 3 years. I love the location, the price is great,the staff is not only friendly they actually know all of their residents by their first name. It's not just an apartment it has become a home to me, and the best part is that when there's a need for any repairs or maintenance the staff is quick to help. What could I possibly ask for more: perfect location, great staff, and a cozy place I call my home. Thank you Tamarron.

                    Tamarron is the spot! A well kept secret and a apartment commuity place I would recommend to anyone. The ladies of Tamarron (and guys) are a great team and have always been there for me. The staff always keeps me on point for the comings and goings here at Tamarron.

                      Magnificent Staff

                      I've lived in Tamarron for 3 years collectively. My more recent residency has been 2 years. I love the staff. Everyone is very personable! The location is very great. Close to grocery--walking distance. Close to major interstate, shopping, food, and did I say shopping? Vinings area is the best.

                        Wonderful

                        I moved in aug 2009 I love it. I haven't had any problems with staff they are always wonderful. I like the enviroment pleasant and peaceful. The stores are close by I walked one day to kroger.

                          Management/Staff is GREAT!!!! I have been living here at Tamarron for over 3 years now, and all I can say is that I feel at home. I have the opportunity to decorative my home on the outside, and the staff seems to enjoy the view, that I try to give to the property. I renew my lease again for another year, because of the wonderful and helpful staff that we have here. I enjoy how clean the property is, and how quiet it is at night. I'm glad to call Tamarron home.

                            I have been living here at Tamarron, now 1900 Vinings, for quite a number of years. Why? Because I really like it. I love the location to the highway, the nearest grocery store, downtown, and other areas that are really easy to get to from this location. I love the peacefulness, even though we are so close to the highway. I love the neighbors in my building, and the sense of security. The staff is wonderful, and extremely friendly. I have not had any problems with them at all. I have seen a lot of comments about experiences that many have had, but that is just their experience, not everyone else. As we all know, living in an apartment comes with its ups and downs, but I must say that the staff works diligently to correct or fix everything that they can in their power, and will get a contractor out as quickly as possible to fix the rest. I have had to call maintenance emergency at 2:15 am in the morning, and someone was at my door by 2:30 am to assist me. I do not expect everything to be 100%. If this was our own personal home, it would not be 100%, so why expect it? The complex has been going through renovations for the past few months now, and I must say that it really is for the better. Katie, Faye, Alyse, Janelle, and even maintenance, Kenneth, and especially you Dwight! You guys rock!!!!! And though you may not hear it much.... I myself appreciate you for all that you do to keep 1900 Vinings together!

                                I have been living at Tamarron for 10 years and have been very pleased with the all-around living environment! The pleasant & patient employees of Tamarron further help to enhance the living conditions, thus minimizing any negatives (which are very few).

                                  Love it!

                                  I have been living at this complex since mid January 2010. I can only say good things about it!! Any issues that I have had (and there have only been one or two), have been addressed and correcetd in a timely fashion. The management team is extremely helpful in resolving issues. I love it!!!!

                                      No problems for 3 yrs I have lived here for 3 1/2 yrs and have not seen any of the problems that are mentioned in the previous ratings. My repairs are always completed and everyone is friendly. I don t see the maintenance staff with beer and tank tops. Parking is never a problem - always have a spot in front of the building where I live. The only bugs are normally from the outside and they have free extermination when requested. The staff is friendly and courteous which makes the customer service good. I love the convenience to the expressways and I am not too far from anything that appeals to me. I think it s been a very good fit me for the time I have been here.

                                        i've been here for almost 6 six years. the people in the office are super super friendly. ms. peggy signed me up, when i first came to the area. she's been here for along time. that lets me know she knows what she's doing (she won me over). the prices are lovely too. i would highly recommend tamarron at vinings. if something is ever wrong, they hop right on it. the only problem i've ever had was a blown light bulb. i know other people that have had things to go wrong, and they fixed it on time.

                                          I am very satisfied with Dwayne, the guy who fixes my requests from my work orders. He is very helpful, respectful and really seems to listen to me. The office staff is friendly and I have no complaints. Brian and Keith keep the grounds very clean. I see them working with smiles on their faces and always saying hello. I am not happy with the "cheapness" of the apartment. My sliding door is off the slide again, my washing machine does not want to stay in place when washing clothes, and my carpet is soooooooooooo matted down; it looks really used. I just moved in three weeks ago and it is so unattractive {I wish I had gotten new carpet before I moved in}. I come in very late at night or leave very early in the morning and the lightning is horrible in the parking lot. It is dim and it is scary. I looked around to see if there were lamp-posts but I am sure I saw only two and very far away from each other. Either way, it is too dark. The entrance to my unit is somewhat lit. Not too bad. But we do have plenty of parking spaces. The neighbors at my last unit where I was for two years were awesome. No noise. I have had no problems here with noisy neighbors either. My stovetop is bad, bad bad. They seem to paint the top because when I scrub it down, paint comes off. I cananot stand this! I want a stovetop, I can clean and it still looks new.

                                              Not the best apartment complex but not the worse. You pay for what you get. It's a matter of outweighing Pros and Cons. I think there are more Cons than Pros but the few pros outweigh the Cons. Pros: location (to airport, midtown, perimeter, buckhead), grocery store nearby that's 24 hours, 285, gas station/car wash, places to quick dine Cons: The gate is always broke (should be seperate entrance for tenants and one for guests), sometimes staff can be incompetent, you can hear neighbor's noise if too loud, air and heat malfunctions, occasional break in's, bugs can appear, no security on site Me personally the one pro in location is huge for myself and the price versus other apartments in area. You pay for what you get. Best staff person in the complex's office is Faye Ellis. Average at best: C

                                                I moved into Tamarron last year(08. The property is old but well maintained. The office staff are really nice. The agent that moved in me was Eboni. She was very knowledge and helpful.I would recommend this place to a friend.

                                                  DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!

                                                  look i am 19 yrs old and i was looking for a place for me and my boyfriend to live that would be nice in a good area... ive lived here since feb 2009 and my lease is up in dec 2009 i wold highly recommend that you do not move in here. this place LOOKS nice in the outside and the office people talk sooo much BS in trying to make it look good. First when we were just looking at the place she said that the gate had just broken and was going to be fixed in 2 days so no worries.... ive lived here and the whole time the gate has only worked for prob 1 week total TOPS! it works for 2 days then breaks.... then doesnt get fixed for months then works for 1 day... etc... secondly the apts are TINY!!! i feel like im going to go crazy living here. She NEVER explained to us that there was a train behind us so we had to find that out first night of being here. thankfully we are now used to it but it really sucked in the beg. next is that there are thousands of cockroaches that are in the place!!!! i have friends who live here tooo that i have met and they complain about the cockroaches... there are also other little bugs EVERYWHERE. I dont know how they get in but they manage to. My bf and I have complained to maintnence THOUSANDS of times and THEY really DO NOT care.... our AC has not worked everymonth we gotta say something to them cuz it breaks then we gotta wait 2 weeks for it to be replaced and so on it keeps happening so we have literally had to fight to get money off rent for 4 months. then the maintnence ppl are NASTY!!!! they walk around in tank tops like bumbs with beer! seriously this place is ------!!!!! the cops are always in here constanly. first 2 months of being here FBI came up to us when walking to the car asking if we knew a man and showed us a mugshot of him. wouldnt tell us why they were looking for him but stated he lived in here. then last week my neighbor told me she had to call cops cuz there was a homeless man behind our apt loitering around. this is a REDICULOUS PLACE im telling you please do not move in here unless u wanna live like a pack rat or are despersate!!!! you will HATE it. I live in a dungine! we have hardly any windows and it is soooo dark i had to buy so many lamps cuz they dont have much lights. idk but there is soooo much more i could say bout this place just not enough tme or space. but DO NOT LIVE HERE@!!!!!!!
