Nice place to live
I have enjoyed living here. The staff has always been helpful and the maintenance has always taken care of any of my request quickly. The property is clean and the amenities are nice. The rent is reasonable as well.

Maintinence
Maintinence sucks a**. I been waiting almost a whole month for them to come fix my ac, fix my bathroom door, and replace the carpet that's milldewing because of the ac problem. They have been to my apt 5 times fixing the same problem and it takes forever for maintenance to arrive. The problems still exists as I type. I have no other problem with tamarron over that the maintenance sucks. Staff is friendly (Cullen Mastin is the best).

Crazy Water Bill
I have been a resident here for 1yr 1/2. I live in a 1 bedroom, I have watched my water bill jump from $50 a month to $80-$90 a month. I have contact both new and old Property Managers and they both said they would get back with me, but never did. This month I turn in my rent payment on time (all the time) with additional money to cover some of the water bill until this can be resolved. The Assistant refused to accept my payment, yet no one has followed up with me regarding the situation. Confused.I find this very unprofessional not to get back with me.

MUST READ!!!!!!!!!!! rats, trains, small critters, holes noises
More than several awful things have gone on here but at last I stayed and didnt break my lease, though it seemd like the best thing to do. But as of I now I must let you know DONT MOVE HERE unless yu can deal with over priced apartments just because of the area that truly arent worth the rate, LARGE New York looking like RATS running around like nobodys business, poor maintenance due to them being short staffed in the area, small holes underneath sinks in bathrooms, kitchen & behind closet doors making it more than available for small critters to come on in, mismatched and totally outdated appliances, and lets not forget about the train that runs through the back of the complex and you wont be notified of the train until you woken out of your sleep by it.

Tamarron locations is ideal for my daily commute to downtown where my business is and I spend a great deal of time without the downtown cost of living. However, the staff now is full of curt attitudes, repairs take days or weeks (if at all), and the renovations are tearing up the inside of my unit. There is NO lighting in the parking lot where my building is nor is the breeze- way of my building lit, other than if neighbors leave their front door lights on. I am a single female and these are major safety issues which Tamarron staff has not addressed or taken the time to investigate. As a matter of fact most buidlings have no breeze way lights and/or little to NO parking lots lighting. The gate is often broken so add this to the no visibility at night and it creates a very unsafe environment. I have yet to see a courtesy patrol either. If the staff truly took time to investigate the safety and condition of the units I believe Tamarron could be full to 100% because Im positive it is not now!

The BEST rental agent I've met..Cullen Mastings
Aside from the very outdated appliances at Tamarron, I love the community. Its quite and the location is convient to everything. I am especially grateful to the Assistant manager, Cullen Mastings, who is always assesible and has always handled any request promptly. Cullen is the reason I moved to Tamarron, because I knew if he was there then the property was exceptional.

Horrible Staff!!
I was going to move to these apartments back in august, talked to Faye at the beginning of July and she stated our apartment would be ready in 2 weeks. My fianc and I were very pleased and ready to move but once we came back up there, she act like she didn't know what was going on. So she looked at us with a blank looked and asked us, "can I help you guys with something?" my fianc knew I was going to be pissed, so she spoke to faye right away. Faye told her our apartment was going to be ready at the beginning of august, I told Faye I'll let you know what we decide. Some lady that was standing next to her was just looking and said nothing. Apparently maintenance haven't finished what they were suppose to, and since I work in the maintenance field, I know how important it is to complete work orders asap to keep tenants happy. We never went back because we got a better deal and a bigger apartment. THANK GOD. When we first viewed the property, I wasn't impressed but my fianc thought it was acceptable. The gate doesn't work properly, because people are able to tailgate each other in, the apartment we was about to move in had a mold smell. Then the neighbor is blasting some Rap Crap all loud and Faye ignored it, so that right there let me know what kind of property manager she is. Like I said, I work in the industry, but only class A buildings. So I know what's what.

I have lived at tamarron at vinings since my move to atlanta four years ago. The community as a whole is great. The staff is wonderful, from my initial visit to now I have always been greeted and treated with respect. Whenever I have had an issue it is resolved quickly. I have been in the office on several different occasions and have observed Cullen, Eboni, Faye, and Peggy work anyone in there. Even on the weekends and there is one person there. i consider each one a friend and would recommend anyone to the community.

Best Place To Live After College
I moved in the Tamarron's right after my college graduation. Ive been a residence there for 2yrs going on 3. I love it there. The people are great, the maintainence staff is direct and on time....hardly had to wait when I needed something. I have recommended The Tamarrons to a few of my friends, and one moved over and loves it!!! Perfect location if you like the city life, as well as outer city life. Great location to downtown and all the "hot spots"!!!!

Very Pleased
I moved into Tamarron @ Vinings August 2009 and I recently renewed my lease for another year. I have been quite pleased with living here as well as management. Cullen, Faye and Ebony have all been nothing but professional and very friendly. I've had a couple of maintenance issues which were handled in a timely manner and management followed up to make sure i was please with the results. The neighborhood is quiet just how I like it and the appearance is always clean and welcoming. I plan on being here for a while and would recommend anyone to join the neighborhood!

Happy to Renew-Thanks Cullen!!
I've just renewed my lease here at Tamarron. I have lived in several apartment communities in Cobb county-and-have enjoyed living here the most! I feel this is due to the attitude of the management staff.I am particularly impressed with Cullen's timely response to the needs of the tenants. I do noty hesitae to call or drop by the office to request my needs to him. I think he is a definite asset to the company now and for years to come..

DO. NOT. MOVE. HERE.!!!!!!!!
I lived here for 6months and HATED every second of it. The staff is full of ----, they lie about EVERYTHING! The first week I moved in I walked in from work to a man INSIDE my unit!! It was the maintanence guy!!! I called Peggy who informed me he was "just" touching up the paint in my bathroom. (WHAT?!?!) The utility bills are OUTRAGOUS in this dump... $80 gas bill...$150 electric...$90 water...REALLY?! I am a single 26 year old with 2 jobs, which means I wasn't home 16hrs of the day.Everything inside this dump is from the 70's from the appliances to the linolieum to the windows to the disgusting bathtubs! Don't be fooled by the model...ask to see the unit you are going to be living in, do not move in until they show you. I made the mistake of moving in before seeing my unit, I was never even informed of the TRAIN and its BLARING horn EVERY 15MINS 20ft outside my unit!!! When I complained to office staff and asked to be moved to another unit I was told to drink hot tea or milk before bedtime for a better nights sleep without train interruptions.. And they were DEAD SERIOUS!! They also said I'd get used to it, well I never did. The AC/heat NEVER worked. The front gate was ALWAYS broken.Cars are ALWAYS getting vandalized. The cops are ALWAYS here.I can go on and on...this place is THE WORST!!!!!!! DO. NOT. MOVE. HERE.

I enjoy living at Tamarron, it is a good community and efforts are made by the staff to develop community among the residents. It was easy to get into, in that once the requested infomration was in the staff notified me of the decision. It is a good place to live for a number of reasons.-Marvin Thomas

Don't Be Fooled
It may look like a really good deal with the cheap rent, but LOOK OUT! You may think you are going to have a chance to save some money by moving into these units with the low rent, but the fact that they were built in the 1970's with no attempts at modernization (not even of the appliances), the massive cracks around the doors and windows (2 layers of whether stripping and I still can see light), and the ridiculous company they have "servicing" the water/sewer ($90-$105 for 2 people who are rarely home) will end up costing you way more than the average complex in the surrounding area. The quality of the surroundings is horrible. The model unit looked nice when we signed the lease, but when we went to OUR unit for the first time, we literally became sick to our stomach. We should have turned and ran then, but we decided to stick it out to "save some money," or so we thought until the utility bills came in. The power bill was more than at my former 2,400 sq ft house, the water bill was absurd, and the gas bill was $50-60, and we NEVER even cooked. The kitchen and bathroom floors have the original linoleum that is curling up around the edges. The bathtub had the entire bottom busted out, and they "patched" it. The patch came off after a few months and had to be patched again. I moved out before it could come up a second time. My vehicle was broken into TWICE because the gates rarley ever worked. The people in the unit downstairs had their unit broken into, and someone was actually murdered at one of the units! The management's response? All tennants received a letter on what our responsibilities were in protecting ourselves!!! And as several other people have mentioned, Cullen takes the cake. He is the personification of Tamarron. Somewhat nice appearance with his shiny truck, but absolutely worthless and down right frustrating if you ever have to deal with him, although I can guarantee it won't be on the weekend he is working by himself because he won't be able to be found.

Nasty
I lived at Tamarron less than a year ago. They are really shabby and going downhill fast! Everything is really old and not maintained whatsoever. There are tons of bugs and I felt dirty everytime I walked in the door. I hated going "home." They are not very safe. There were multiple break-ins, including my car. The staff is great (someone should recruit the two younger females), minus the one young guy who can't be found when he is working alone on the weekends. The place should be torn down or renovated. Worst place I have ever lived.

Going down hill
I moved to Tamarron at Vinings late July 2010. Everyone I talked to were really nice, including the staff. The area is nice, the rent is decent, and the grounds are pretty. Whenever the gate breaks its only a matter of hours before its fixed. When I moved in, I got a new refrigerator and new carpet :-) The view off my balcony is very pretty, and I love that my bedroom has a second door the balcony. Tamarron at Vinings does have beautiful aspects, but after you live here you will notice the negative aspects too. When I moved into the apartment I noticed things that needed to be fixed. Faye told me just to make to a list and they would have the maintenance guy do it. The maintenance guy has been out here once! It took two calls over a period of 5 days for a maintenance guy to get out here to fix a leak. A leak should be top priority, not something to get around to. My front door's frame is cracked! It literally looks like someone kicked in my door before I lived here. Faye denied that the door had been kicked in, but the maintenance man confirmed that it had. The maintenance man said that he cannot fix the frame unless he rips out the wall, but the 3 inch screws would prevent it from happening again. Funny thimg is that the screw on my door knob is constantly coming loose and getting caught in the door. You literally just have to push the screw in....no screw driver needed. Very unsafe! For the past three weeks there has been a dog/puppy living on the balcony above me. I haven't seen the tenants walk the dog or take it inside. The dog LIVES on the balcony and goes to the bathroom on the balcony! Its disgusting, especially since I live below and the piss drips down on my balcony. I have called the office three times! Eboni was really nice, and so was Cullen the first time. The second time I talked to Cullen was horrible. He told me they sent a letter to the tenants. That's it! I told him he could come down here and see my balcony to know that this is a big deal and he got an attitude real quick. If I have to call more than once to get a problem handled, then that is RIDICULOUS! Unfortunately, I am still having this issue. No resolution yet :-( This place looks pretty and the gate is a nice touch. But this place is waaaay too old and needs to be renovated inside and out. Especially the horrible smelling pipes. The stove and dishwasher are really old appliances and need to be replaced. Needless to say, I am definitely moving out when my lease is up in July.

Great Price for the Location
I have lived here for five years and I enjoy it. The community is well maintained and the grounds are well pick up. The community has been painted a new color which is really nice. The applicances are old but they operable and are replaced as needed.

To expense for what you get
I have live here for over 4 yrs. When I first moved in, I did not check around for prices. I thought I had a great price. I renewed my lease after talking with Peggy at the same price. Again, I thought that I had a good price. However, after talking with others with the same unit. I discovered that I was paying over 100 dollars more than everyone else. I discovered that I had been paying this for about 2 yrs. The staff said that they could not do anything to help me. After complaining and looking at other apt., they offered me a little larger unit with washer and dryer at the same price. However, I should been in this unit almost 2 years ago. Second, the gym is in bad shape. We have been without air for about 2 years. They just fixed one unit. It was so hot. Also, a treadmill got stolen and they still have not replaced it. The equipment in about 20 yrs old. They very seldom put toliet paper in the rest rooms in the gym. You do not have to take my word for it. Just visted the fitness center. Do your home work and not be like me. I will be moving soon.

No No NO!
Wow...I'm stunned that these apartments had such good reviews. I have been here 10 months and have counted down the days until my lease is up. When I first moved in, I noticed right away nothing had been cleaned. They replaced the carpet but the bathroom was a complete and disgusting mess. Ok, nothing a little 409, bleach and lysol can't take care of...WRONG! The filth was stained in the tub. The cabinetry (in the bathroom and kitchen) was unfinished, and never stayed their tracks. The actually flooring in the bathroom and kitchen keep coming up on the edges. Ok, and the worst problem is the PESTS!!! I ask for the exterminator service almost every week and it does no good...I'm talking HUGE palmetto bugs, silverfish and spiders. I complain about the cracks in the window seals, at the front door and under the bathroom sink, but no one has come to seal them...that work order was put in 3 months ago and it mysteriously disappeared. I have small children and to think that I have to expose them to the pest chemicals on a routine basis sickens me...but I don't want to imagine how horrible the pest problem would be if I didn't request the service as much as I do. I've been renting in the local area for almost 5 years and have never seen the pest problem that I have here....I AM SO GLAD I ONLY HAVE 2 MONTHS LEFT, if your looking for an affordable place in the Vinings area...beware. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is...Oh...and our car was vandalized while parked right outside our apartment....
