I used to love it here but the rent has increased and I just don't believe this apartment is worth $708. We live in an upstairs unit and the floors have gotten squeakier and squeakier and I know it is not safe per construction regulations. Yet no one has done anything to replace them. Other than that if the rent didn't increase as much and if the quality of the apartment was better maybe I would reconsider staying.

The office staff is great! However the condition of the apartment needs improving. It would be nice to have up to date appliances, like a black refrigerator, a newer dish washer. It also needs newer carpet. The gate stays broken, therefore i feel like I'm paying too much to live in a gated community when the gate does not work.

This is a better community compared to the other Thayer property in Alabama. I strongly believe that a renovation is needed on some apartment buildings. It's still okay but it also needs some improvements. Needs to updated exercise equipments also.

I MOVED INTO PREVIOUS APARTMENT SAME COMPLEX IN JANUARY 2010, I HAD BEEN A TENANT HERE WHEN I FIRST RETURNED TO THE COLUMBUS AREA IN 1995. THE MAIN REASON THE I RETURNED WAS THE LOCATION, CLOSE TO WORK, AND ALSON THE CONTROLLED ACCESS. I FOUND THIS TO BE A GREAT, AFFORDABLE PLACE TO LIVE IN A REALLY GOOD LOCATION.

I value my apartment and appreciate the staff here. They respect and show a lot of appreciation for their resident. I want to move to another complex, but my son said here is best. I he was right, I really love my apartment, and I would recommend it to others.

It was much better in 2006, the neighbors were better, the pest control came every month, we can not walk around the community at night and open the windows on summer because a lot bugs, we can not use the pool in the morning on summer, it is always closed, many residents that live upstairs don't mind if they are making noise and bother who lives downstairs, they need to receive a letter, I know people need to walk into the house but they do not need to step strong especially late at night or early in the morning.

love the staff.....do not like that the tennants about us let their kids run and stomp....they will not make their kids stop...Its very agravating.....and it goes on until midnight ......every night......we have made the office aware of this situation on several occ.

So far so good with the apartment. The staff is very friendly and the location of the property is spot on. My family has enjoyed are time here and plan to stay awhile. Although there are some issuses overall I can't complain. Keep the good work going.

This is my first apartment & my experience with Brittwood have been overwhelming. I love that the staff keep me posting on everything that they are having & I love that they are involved. I would most definitely recommend Brittwood in a positive manner.

I have not had any major problems at all. The only complaint would be parking. I feel safe. The office staff is very nice. The price is good in comparison to other communities.

Have had lots of fun with community BBQ and the friendly staff and have made great friends. Enjoy the summer pool outings and the prime location of the complex, along with the great apartment layout! Looking forward to spending another year!

Friendly staff although it changes a lot. I love Rudy. He takes care of the property like it's his own. The gate is still a work in progress. It takes too long to open when it is working and the resident entrance maybe should have a call box also.;-)

Property needs new paint job and facelift. The gate is always broken and we feel very unsafe. Unfamiliar People are always walking around. The breezeways are never clean after grounds people blow the weeds. The grounds people/blowers never pick up trash they just blow everything all around ( cans, items etc.)

Staff was really nice. Had a problem with bugs in the kitchen. Went and told the staff and an exterminator was out there same day. My neighbors seem to be really nice. The move in went smoothly and went good.

I have only lived at the complex for 2 weeks and have had no problems except for a clogged toilet. My husband called maintenance and they quickly came to take care of the problem and was even nice enough to give us a plunger that we could keep if we needed it for the future which I thought was very nice.

The apartment community is extremely old and outdated. There have been no upgrades to the apartment in many years. There is still popcorn ceilings in the apartments. They tout this as a luxury community but it is FAR from it. I believe they allow anyone to move in. There was an incident on Labor Day where 10 or more people were at the pool having a dance party, with liquor, loud music etc. they grilled out in the pool area then eh When they were finished they threw their ashes of the grill in the planter bed.
