I can't say enough about the staff at Chelsea 88. The leasing office staff are simply the best, their friendly demeanor and commitment to customer service is what makes living at Chelsea 88 Apts such a great experience. The maintenance staff are friendly and responsive to maintenance requests. I highly recommend living here.

I could not be happier with my choice of Astor Place. The quality of the apartment, grounds, and management staff all come together to make the ultimate trifecta of living experience. The professionalism of the leasing staff is wonderful (I've been working with James) and is one of the main reasons I came back after taking my original tour. I could not have asked for a better place to live!

I've live here since August of '11. I didn't have any issues with the prior property management, But with that being said. ever since TJ and the reset of the Staff her has taken over, living her has been the best. quick service request response time, upkeep is great. I mean what more can i say liver here now is ever top good. G.C.

I have been living here at Chelsea 88 for nearly 2 years now and have nothing but good things to say. The area is well maintained and the access to the interstate nearby is incredibly nice for getting around. The apartment itself has had very few issues and when we asked for help the maintenance people had no problems helping. The longest we waited was one day for help. The staff at the front desk are always nice and have always been a pleasure to talk to. TJ has promptly called me when we had issues. Nicole, Ashley, and Christie are always very helpful with the few other minor issues that have come up and overall I'd say that they do their job very well. I personally have been wanting to consider moving closer to my job that is 24 miles away but can't find any place that is up to par with this apartment.

Chelsea 88 are some of the most well maintained apartments in the Duluth area. They were the first apartments we visited (out of about 6) in the area. We got a very informative tour, TJ our host was more than hospitable, and the amenities were perfect and in great condition. We received the price for our needs and their unit availability before heading to the other locations. And the other locations were simply not up to standard. Chelsea 88's gym looks like I should be paying a monthly fee. They didn't just stick some weights in a room and call it a gym; they actually made one. Their units all have security systems and panic buttons. They have multiple pools, even one for the children. And also a nice walkway that goes around the complex giving a nice calm scenery for you to zone out in. Chelsea 88 is a great apartment to live in whether you are single or have a family.

I had some things on my credit history that were stopping me from getting an apartment. Jessica Jones and the people at Astor place took their time and patiently worked with me while I fixed my history. Great move in experience and the renovated apartments look and feel really nice.

I have been here for awhile, and the maintenance crew has been nice, property has felt safe and queit, the staff and TJ Miller, they have been courteous, I am Thankful for the community at Chelsea 88.

I was very pleased with the entire process from the very start. I was greeting by James Wright on a Sunday afternoon. He took provided exceptional customer service and was very patient with me and my situation. He showed me the model and it was everything that the picture displayed for the one bedroom. The first apartment that I was assigned wasn't in a desirable location and James allowed me to select a different building that I was more comfortable with. I've moved in and everything has been pleasant.

This apartment complex is great. It is very safe and affordable. I love the apartment. The office staff is very friendly and is always ready to help. The maintenance team is very punctual and friendly.

I always admired this neighborhood and I knew it seemed so pricey so I turned away. When I ran into a special I immediately tried to leave my last apartment. My biggest issue is communication when it comes to leasing offices. I met TJ Miller and he was amazing. He gave me all the info I needed to get started. He always check up on me to see if everything is going well. I appreciate him because not many people care. TJ is very informative and always has the answers. He has a great sense of humor and gets right to the point. He is the one you would want to get in touch with when inquiring about an apt here. When I need info or have any issues he's the one to solve it right away!! I love this neighborhood and its just right. The apts are beautiful. Just love it!!

From the very start, I was very pleased with Astor Place. I just went through a really big change in my life moving from Dallas, TX and from the start, James Wright was there to make a difference. He has been consistently insightful, expeditious and very courteous to me since I looked at the property. The process of choosing Astor place was made that much easier. The application process was very easy and he kept me informed the entire way through. Upon move-in, I never got a different person. He knew me by face and name (which I liked) and made any and all moving anxiety go away. He addressed my concerns immediately and same were rectified. I could not have asked for a better process. The apartments are what I was expecting and more. I am very pleased with my decision to move there.

I have lived at Chelsea 88 apts since Dec 2015 and I'm still living here. The staff is very efficient and professional, not to mention very helpful. I have referred several people to this area. Its quiet,close to shopping, the grounds are well maintained and the apartments are updated with the newest technology. If you want a nice apartment THIS IS IT!!!!

I relocated to GA and was pretty overwhelmed apartment searching because of all the options and I almost was going to settle for less; however, I decided to check out Chelsea 88 and I can honestly say that I made the best decision. I am happy with the location, love the apartment and everyone in the office are super friendly. I called maintenance because I blew out my circuit (my fault) and I called from work late and they immediately took care of it. Quick, fast and easy. I like that they leave a work order on my counter. Price point is perfect considering it's gated, and they are in a safe good neighborhood. The apartments have alarms too! Great option! Be sure to say hi to Ashley and TJ!

Been here 3 mths. Extremely satisfied. the staff is awesome. Any problems I've had they've fixed in a timely manner. I have no complaints. Glad I decided to move here.

I am a fairly new resident at Astor Place and I am loving it so far. Jacob Baker has excellent customer service skills. He really makes you feel important and your questions and concerns matter. He makes sure you are happy and completely satisfied. I am glad I chose Astor Place. The upgrades in the apartment are awesome. So if you havent found or still searching for your new apartment look no further, Astor Place is the place to be. Don't forget to ask for Jacob Baker.

Absolute love this place , very quite and clean ! Leasing office staff is wonderful they are very nice and HELPFUL !!!!! TJ is amazing ! Nicole is amazing as well !! Mainence is wonderful, anything you need fix the fix is quickly !! I recommend this place !!!!

Excellent place to live. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a new place just asked for Jacob Baker. He will help you find the apartment to best fit your personal needs. That was one of the key factors in me deciding to rent with Astor Place. Additionally, this apartment complex is really safe with a gated entry, has phenomenal amenities (workout facility, tennis courts, pool), and high-end apartment renovations. Another thing I really like about this community is that it is not too large or overcrowded. It is a very peaceful environment. Honestly, for the price, staff, service, safety, and amenities, you cannot go wrong in choosing Astor Place. It is by far the nicest community around.

This review is after living at Chelsea 88 for about 4 months in the 2 bed 2 bath configuration. Move-in: Moving in was fairly painless. I was coming in from out of state and got stuck in traffic on the way (yay 85) and realized the office would be closed by the time I got there so I called ahead and they helped work out something so I could still get my keys. The apartment was overall in good condition for moving in -- even had new carpet! There were a few minor issues here and there but they took care of them quickly. Apartments and grounds: The buildings aren't brand new but they are in good shape. The kitchen appliances are white and are all pretty standard -- they have the typical features you would expect. The pictures on the website are accurate. One annoying thing is that the outlet covers and cable jacks weren't removed when painting so I had to use a solvent to remove the paint from the jacks before use. The closets are huge with plenty of storage space and shelfing. The bathroom also has storage but oddly enough no built-in towel racks...weird! Notes that might be useful to some people: * The windows are tall -- you'll need to get curtains that are at least 84 inches. * Since the windows are large and aren't energy efficient windows there is significant heat transfer and as such you'll want to have insulating curtains. * The kitchen has double sinks but they are not quite the "full" size you might be used to in a house -- they are just slightly smaller. * The bedrooms and living room do not have overhead lights. There are fixtures for you to install overhead lights if you want. The grounds are all very well maintained. There's never any trash lying around and if there is it's always cleaned up quickly. The whole complex is surrounded by tall trees and the grass is well maintained so it actually looks quite beautiful, especially in the fall. Neighbors: There are a lot of families here and it's very quiet. I haven't had any noise issues and everyone I've encountered has been respectful. Safety/feel: The property feels reasonably safe so far. There is plenty of lighting at night and I haven't encountered or seen anything that could pose a danger -- I can't speak for everyone though. One thing that could definitely be improved is to add more lighting to the Boggs Rd entrance. I'm a guy and even I feel a little uneasy at that entrance when there is no other car at night. Maintenance: The maintenance team is pretty amazing -- they respond to every work order quickly and professionally. I had an issue with my fridge and within about 3 days they had ordered a new one and had it installed in my apartment. Management: Management is pretty active and responsive. Nicole does a great job of following up on things and even just checking in! Since I moved in she had sent me a number of emails checking up on me and seeing if I needed anything. The office staff are also very helpful. Parking: I've never had an issue with parking. The way the buildings are distributed makes it such that you'll always have a spot near your apartment. Everyone generally has a spot they like to park in so it's never an issue. There is also a car care center where you can go wash your car, etc. Misc: One other thing I came to find out is that the property technically has two working addresses (it also has two entrances). The 1335 Herrington Rd address is the main address (I think it's a new address) but it's not yet recognized by a lot of the commercial address databases. Some online stores that use automated address checking would not ship to that address because they couldn't find it in their database -- the same thing happened when signing up at Costco, as well as with Jackson EMC the electricity provider, and Charter. The 1435 Boggs Rd address, though, works for everything and all the packages still come to the same place. This isn't Chelsea 88's fault though, the companies just need to update their address databases since USPS has it in their database. Overall I would highly recommend living here. It's not perfect but the staff does a great of maintaining the property and unless you are super picky you'll like it! -Paul

I have lived at Chelesa 88 for the past four months and this is the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. I currently live in a 2br/1ba. My apartment is spacious, huge patio, plenty of storage, excellent office staff, feels safe and HUGE walk in closets. I have absolutely no complaints about Chelesa 88. If you are looking for an apartment complex that gives the feel of living in a home in a neighborhood look no further than Chelesa 88! Candace S.

If you're looking for a beautiful, affordable, well-maintained apartment, look no further! Me and my husband are so thankful to have found this gem of an apartment community. Our move in experience was quick and easy, and conveniently done from out-of-state, as we had little time to pack and move before my husband started his new job. I've been living here for about two months now, and I love it. The office staff and the maintenance is always there, helpful, and friendly. I've submitted probably 8 requests in since I've moved in, and they've attended to my requests immediately..if not the day of then the day after. Whether it's to clean the balcony or to fix an overflowing toilet at 5 a.m., they maintenance is incredible, even after hours. I feel very safe living here; I am gone most of the day and my dog is at home alone, and I feel safe and secure living him at home alone all day. Noise is very minimal, if any occasionally. My only complaint would be my upstairs neighbor who has birds as pets in her balcony, which drops all bird poop in my balcony, preventing me to use it. Other than that, it's been a great experience! I'm really impressed and happy living here and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, safe, friendly, and spacious community.
