Wow! Where do I even begin on such a great community? I love love love my new apartment. For months I've researched on the perfect place to live. I've always loved Duluth but I also wanted to make sure I had a decent commute to work. I first found Astor Place through searching on the Cortland Partners website for specific apartments in Duluth, GA. If you are an observer (like myself) you would notice there is a distinct difference of Cortland partner communities from other management properties. Their employees seem to be much happier and more professional. As for their apartments, well, lets just say they are absolutely amazing no matter where the property is located! My first visit at Astor Place was in November. James was my leasing agent. James was very professional and knowledgeable of the community. Upon your arrival you instantly feel welcome in the office and no matter how crazy people may get sometimes the leasing agents still remain professional! The apartment (when I toured the model) was immaculate! I couldn't believe all the upgrades at such an unbelievable price. If I were in the city I would definitely be paying close to $1,200 for such nice fixtures in a 1 bedroom. James informed me that the prices do change daily but he would be in contact with me in March to let me know May's availability dates. He definitely stuck to his word and contacted me in March and now I am a resident. Life as a resident couldn't be better. It's very pleasing to know that I did not get mislead into a "wait until you sign the lease" surprise. My move-in process was as smooth as could be. I worked with James for my application process, Jacob for my walk-through, and Jessica for my move-in date. Once again the leasing office is truly amazing. I can tell they just love what they do. My apartment couldn't be better. What you see in the model is truly what you get. Of course it doesn't take a scientist to realize that if the model is on the left and you live on the inside of the building more than likely your apartment layout will just switch to the right. You are also warned that some apartments have have all hard-wood flooring (living room, kitchen, bathroom and dining room) and others have part hardwood, and some carpet (living room & only bedroom with carpet). However, outside of this, what they offer is completely the same. You are not being mislead. I also love how there are overhead lights EVERYWHERE. Until you've lived in an apartment without them, you won't know what you have until its gone. I couldn't be more than grateful for this feature! Aaaaaaaaaaamzing! Moreover, the maintenance team is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! (Meaning great) I put in an order and voila..its done! They even wished me a "nice day." :) No complaints here. There is also an option to pay rent online (love this feature). Overall I'm grateful to be apart of such a great community and look forward to attending some of the events offered for the residents. I highly recommend this place to any family or individual who seeks a professional staff, a safe community, and sophisticated home at an affordable price. Kudos to Astor Place!

    I have been at Chelsea 88 for 8 months. I love it. The staff in the office is attentive and professional. The maintenance staff is very fast and professional, as well. The grounds are clean and safe. I cannot say anything bad at all about Chelsea 88. If I move its only because I need a yard for my dog. I would stay for a very long time!

      I just moved in last week, but I don't think it is too soon for me to express that this community has been nothing short of wonderful. After having had a terrible experience at a different apartment community this has been a breath of fresh air for me. The rooms are very spacious with high ceilings. The gym is pretty neat, filled with a lot of workout machines. The pool is nice, especially knowing that it is being monitored to make sure it doesn't get overcrowded with "visitors". Landscape is beautiful and well kept. I have had a very minor maintenance issue (if it can even be classified as a maintenance issue) and Nicole and the maintenance staff were right on top of it! It has been less than a week but I have a good feeling this will be home for a good while.

        I moved into Astor Place last week and so far I have loved everything about it. Jacob Baker, my leasing agent, made everything about the move impeccable. He came in with me and helped do the walk through to make sure I caught everything! I would recommend this place to any and everyone!

          I moved in about a month ago, and Chelsea 88 seems like it will be my home for quite a while. I love the location, the amenities, and the actual apartments within this complex. The complex grounds are kept up so nicely, and there is always a smiling face in the front office to help your any need. Coming into Chelsea 88 a couple months ago to look at potentially leasing, TJ helped me figure out which floor plan would help me for the best price within my budget. I am extremely grateful for his help and guidance during this process. He wasn't just trying to sell me on the apartment; he showed me why Chelsea 88 would be a good fit for me. I would definitely recommend Chelsea 88 as a place to live and to call a safe, welcoming home. I can't wait to make memories while I live in these apartments!

              i moved to chelsea88 in feb of this year and i still absolutely love my 1b apartment. Oh and the gym love love love im there almost everyday. The front desk and maintenance staff are amazing as well and my moving process was a piece of cake. i couldnt have chose a better place to live

                I moved to Astro Place from Dallas, Tx and had to handle everything online prior to moving here or even seeing the apartment complex. Jacob Baker my leasing agent was the best help ever. He made sure everything ran smoothly and even went the extra mile to get me the keys to my place after hours due to the traffic during my travel. I saw pictures of the apartment online prior to signing my lease, but was skeptical because I have seen places in the past the look nothing like my pictures. This place was the exact opposite. The apartment actually looked better than I expected and the pictures weren't deceiving at all. The complex is nicely gated, well lit and family oriented. I haven't had any complaints.

                          I moved into the Chelsea 88 a couple weeks ago and everything has been great so far. The staff is amazing and very helpful with any and everything. The maintenance guys have responded very quickly on the one occasion I wanted them to check out something for me. So if you are looking for a great environment for a great price then look no further than the Chelsea 88. It will definitely be worth your while!

                              We have lived in the same apartment for 5 years and the renovations are superb! I feel like we live in the city with all the upgrades, inside and out! The managers and assistants are very nice and always available for me and my kids! It's quiet all day near my building and my neighbors are cool too! They have a cares team that host different events once or twice a month! With the amenities and upgrades I can't see myself moving just yet!

                                I am a current resident at Chelsea 88 and my wife and I have been living here for a year. Living here has been a pleasure thus far and the quality of the entire apartment and community is astounding. The floor plans are spacious and each room has its own sense of privacy. The master bedroom and bathroom is large and flows nicely together. The front office has the best leasing agents and staff I have ever come across in an apartment community. All work orders requests and issues are handled promptly and efficiency and everyone has been extremely caring towards our needs. I would like to commemorate T.J. and Nicole who have been there for every issue we every had and was properly solved. And as my leasing agent, T.J., has always been a pleasure to work with and always been diligent in making sure our stay here has been satisfying.

                                  I love this community. However, many neighbors are upset and have informed me renewal prices will be increased by 18% which is a lot considering most of us already pay $1k/month for rent ($1,050 for myself in particular). I understand it's normal for complexed to increase prices but that is $180+ alone and a bit much. It's nice but not sure if it is worth the increase. Be sure to keep this in mind if you are looking for a long term stay. They don't even provide trash services and it is difficult to get in contact with the staff in the front office.

Honestly, the whole experience has been a good one, from the quality of the apartment itself to its surrounding area. It's within five minutes of my college and also very close to malls, stores, and the primary veins of traffic to enable easy transit to other locations.

                                      I have lived in the community for a year now and have very much enjoyed the tranquility and beautifully kept community. I have to say that any and all issues that would arise throughout the year were taken care of immediately and efficiently. I completely recommend these apartments to everyone. There is great service, kind and caring personnel that are always greeting you with the best attitudes. I particularly have dealt with one more than the others, and have to say that Terry Miller or T.J. has been awesome! Always responds, always willing to help, always a pleasure to work with. I have just moved to another apartment within the community and looking forward to another outstanding year at Chelsea 88 Apartments.

                                        This is a great community society..I am staying here since August 2014...It's very calm,safe and secure society. Atmosphere and environment are great...a lot of amenities are present in the society...Kitchen is newly furnished..nice rooms. Management staff is quite courteous, humble, approachable and professional. When i joined last year...Jacob helped me a lot in getting things done real quick and within 2 days I was able to shift to my apartment. All in all this is quite, nice, clean and good society to live in. I've already recommend few of my friends to move in here.

                                          I just moved here a month ago, but so far i LOVE it here. The apartments are or very good quality. It is very quite and enjoyable. Only problems are my downstairs neighbors dog, but other than that I love it here and will re up my lease for another year without a doubt. I saw the other negative comments before i moved here and was nervous, but i have not had any problems so far. Will update if something did happen.

                                            I have been living at Chelsea 88 for two years now. I am currently in my second unit since my first unit had really bad spiders and roaches. I was told that my new unit would be different, but I am on my 3rd can of bug spray because the building is infested with them. although I would like to complain, the leasing managers will not have a positive attitude especially if you're already a resident and come to them with a problem. So I shall patiently continue to wait until my lease is up because I refuse to deal with their rude attitudes again as with the first unit.

                                                Though my boyfriend and I recently moved to Chelsea 88 days ago, it has been nothing but a pleasant experience. Our leasing agent Nicole made the entire process simple and as easy as possible. An example of how amazing she is, upon moving in I had one problem with my unit(it's normal to have a problem) and she immediately fix it! I was so impressed! I would recommend everyone I know to Nicole and Chelsea 88.
