We are very pleased! Nicole Gagliardi, the ACM is the best. She help during all my moving process in addition of the complete staff. Couple of details in the apartment were completed and fixed in 24 hours. Yesterday the maintenance supervisor called me to make sure that I am fine and requesting to return this morning to fix couple of details in my unit. This morning the bus arrived on time and I noticed that we have a Loss Prevention Officer checking everything during the kids were waiting for the bus (great!). No disturbance; no trash in the grounds; even the residents pick up their dog's waste and follow the regulations the way that should be. My apartment is huge and beautiful. As Leasing Consultant myself, I worked and lived in other apartment complex and I have to say that I am very happy to choose Chelsea 88 as my community!

    Chelsea 88 Is a awesome environment to be a part of. Everything is kept well maintained from the yard work of the whole establishment to the in's and out's of the actual resident homes themselves. Very quiet area . Easy acccess to major stores and highways. The staff here is what makes this place special. Nicole G, TJ and the rest of the Chelsea 88 team always have the actual resident at heart and do whatever is needed to make sure that they are 100% . Terrific place to be. Brandon D.

      I'm a current resident and I lived at Astor place almost a year. I absolutely love my apartment and the staff here. My apartment is very nice. Renovated kitchen and bathroom. Apartment is very clean. The times I called on maintenance, my issue was resolved within 24 hrs. The office staff rock. They're professional and genuinely nice people. I would recommend Astor place to live. Jacob, Jess and James... "Triple J" are a power team!

        I needed to relocate and received a referral to Astor Place. I met Jacob and we discussed my situation. He was completely professional and extremely helpful. We discussed Astor Place and I immediately made the decision to move in. It was a great decision. The management team has been very responsive. The complex is quiet and I feel very secure. I have great neighbors and the minor adjustments I've needed fixed in my apartment were done same day. I am very happy with my choice to live here and would recommend the complex to anyone.

          If I was to give zero stars I would. I haven't moved to this complex but I wanted to for the liking of it. I thought everything was pretty nice but as soon as I started asking questions about What is the requirements to move in, they kept brushing me off and kept telling me all you have to to do is pay $200 dollars and we will go from there. Nobody would not give me an explanation as to why I was denied. I kept calling noone would answer. you think because they were nice at first they would want to help you. NO! all they want is your money. even when I explained my situation, they didnt care at all. I honestly have not felt so disgusted and disrespected in my life!

            We recently moved here and so far we are loving it, we received great help from one of the leasing agents T.J he was so great and got everything done for the time we need it to move in everything was ready and he was super professional and super helpful (thank you T.J for making our move so easy and smooth)! we love how the kids pool is set up which is great for my little ones who are 1 & 2 the people at the leasing office are all very very nice and always super helpful, i requested service in my bathroom over the internet and they responded super fast they were here within 2 days and the maintenance guy that came and fix everything was super nice overall we are super happy living here and we would recommend the complex to all my friends!

              I found Astor Place Apartments in Duluth through a friend that already lived there and she told me to ask for James Wright. He answered ALL my questions and was very patient with me through the entire application process. He understood how much space I needed with 2 kids since he has 2 kids himself and he helped me find an affordable, clean, & spacious apartment for my family. I love my apartment but if it wasn't for James and his amazing customer service, I probably wouldn't feel as comfortable as I do living here.

                I LOVE my apartment! Such a breath of fresh air compared to my last place. James Wright and the rest of the staff helped me through the whole application process and they did an excellent job! I was going through a hard time in my life at that time and was very stressed out. I probably was the most pleasant girl to deal with but they didn't skip a beat and made the move go so smoothly. I have no complaints about this place.

                    I don't write reviews very often, but I've lived here for over 3 months and have been impressed by the complex and the people that live here so I hope this helps any potential tenants. The good: *Quality employees, from those that work in the office (they're all great, but TJ seems to make a particular effort to connect with residents) to the maintenance team, who are polite, and provide timely responses. I've had two issues shortly after I moved in, and both were addressed within 24 hours *Good neighbors--I was out of town for 3 days and had a package delivered by the mail service to my apartment door. My neighbors noticed it was there for a day and told the front office about it, and they came and picked it up so that it wouldn't disappear. Very grateful. Of those neighbors who I've met, they have all been friendly. *Safe. There always seem to be people out and about and I see a lot of families here, so I'd like to think that it's an unspoken rule where if you see something that doesn't seem right, someone here will step up. *Decent apartment price (relative to safety, similar gated communities, and the city itself--expect to pay more to live in Suwanee or Johns Creek) *Clean laundry facility *Bug control: It's Georgia. This apartment complex does as good a job as any that I've lived in to try and keep it under control. If you choose an apartment that has a deck with the woods right up against it, it's fair to assume you may see a few more bugs than the neighbor whose deck overlooks a beautiful parking lot. The bad: Gates get broken. Part of the reason why you pay more to live in a gated community is under the premise that the gate is not broken. With that said, I've lived in 6 apartments in the last 3 years, and broken gates just come with the territory. Some people just can't wait to get in or out I guess, and don't mind driving their vehicles into it...Good news is that maintenance does their best to keep up with it. online payment system: The website does not state the amount that you actually owe. You receive an amended bill in your mailbox, and it's on you to make sure you get down to the office or build the utilities into your online payment. This is not a big deal, just an inconvenience and could be a potential area of frustration that I hope they correct (if they haven't already). Laundry room locks at or before midnight. I only throw this on here because some people work an unconventional job shift. The good news is that you can get laundry units in your apartment if this becomes a challenge. Hope this helps all of you out there. Again, it's been 3 months, but overall I'd recommend this apartment.

                      I've only lived here a month and a half and I can sincerely say that I am glad I moved in here. The staff is great, the maintance guys keep the place looking good and are quick on work orders. TJ was a very big help with moving us in quickly. The two pools are very nice. All of our neighbors are very nice. The gym is AWESOME has everything you need in it to work out. The Lounge area is very nice and has a POOL TABLE!!! TJ is awesome! I would talk to him about moving in. Great guy and very easy to get along with. Everyone in the office is extremely nice also. DEFINITELY would recommend moving in this awesome apartment complex.

                        I started looking for a new apartment over the summer and got recommended by a friend living in the complex to take a look and try it out. Absolutely could not be happier with my decision. The staff is phenomenal. TJ helped us through out literally the entire process. Had a very minut problem with oven maintenance and they were there and within the same morning and resolve the problem immediately. Everything is well maintained, I feel safe in the neighborhood, the gym is AWESOME, plus two swimming pools, AND a tennis court. It's fantastic! I tell everyone to come live in our neighborhood because it's just that great. It's close enough to the city and yet far enough that the area is quiet. Our neighbors are friendly, everyone is friendly infact! Overall love living here!!! Made a great decision moving here thanks to TJ!

                          This complex is managed by incompetent children! They hired a great photographer because the grounds were not as well kept in person. The breeze ways are full of cobb webs and bugs. When I was shown the model apartment it reeked of a mold/mildew smell as if the carpet had been wet. If you want some where clean, upscale, and/or look forward to dealing with friendly staff, please RUN FOR THE HILLS. Also, I think most of the reviews were written by staff members. Shame.

                              My fiance' and I moved into Chelsea 88 a little over a year ago, and have been extremely satisfied with the service and accomodations thus far.                                   I have lived at Chelsea 88 for a little over a year now and it is by far one of the best apartments I've ever lived in. TJ & Nicole and James always does a great job along with the rest of the staff are very attentive, informative and always respond within a timely fashion to anything. I've ever needed. The complex is very clean with a routine maintenance, lawn and pest control schedule. I will recommend it to everyone I know. I love the neighborhood it is always quiet and seems like everyone is passionate about every job they do and that is what makes a great community. I have just renewed my least and as long as it stay this way I will continue to renew.

                                    Love this neighborhood! I was a little skeptical at first because I knew the area before they changed it. However, I must say, they did and exceptional job with the place. Every time I go in the office the staff is always so friendly. The majority of the time I deal with Tj and he's great, he goes above and beyond to make sure his tenants are happy. I haven't been here that long but I'm already planning to renew this lease when it's up.

                                      My sister and I have been living here for over a year and we've had no problems to speak of. TJ did a great job helping us renew our lease and lock in a great rate! The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful, one(wish I got her name) even tracked down a package for me that was mistakenly sent to Astor Place. The apartments are spacious and clean, the neighborhood is nice and you can't beat the location. Maintenance has always been prompt and efficient. Overall it's a nice community. I recommend Chelsea 88 to all of my friends and coworkers!

                                        We moved into Chelsea88 2 months ago. The complex came very highly recommended. So far we have been pleased with everything. The amenities are exceptional, the staff is very friendly and hands on and maintenance requests are taken care of in a timely manner. My only concern is that there are no speed bumps and with fast cars it can be a danger to young children. Hopefully that will be something that comes in the near future.

                                          After moving from out of state, and viewing almost every apartment complex in the area, we could not be happier with choosing Chelsea 88. Apartment Ratings was a main source of information we used when deciding where to live, and 9/10 the reviews on here were accurate. The same goes for Chelsea 88, in fact, it seems to be a self-fulfilling prophecy of success. TJ in the leasing office was wonderful (as the other reviews state). He remembers our name, greets us with a warm southern smile, and ensured that we were probably cared from first viewing to after move in. The community is very clean. I have not seen garbage anywhere. Not by the pool, park, or around the apartment complex. It is open and spacious and not too woodsy (which encourages critters). The parking lot and stairs are always well lit. Whether I come home at midnight alone or leave at 6 am when it's still dark, I never feel worried or nervous about walking to my car. Other tenants don't excessively hang out in the parking lot or the hallways, and it's been very quiet since we moved in. There is always ample parking. I am always parked outside my building and there are enough spots for guests. I don't have to walk too far with my groceries (except up to my 3rd floor apt.) My two nieces (3 +1) love love love the kiddie pool. They can walk right in, and is large enough for an adult to sit comfortably under the water, while allowing the kids a shallow space to play. In conclusion, we were worried about moving to such a large complex in a surrounding area that was questionable. However, I accidentally left my car doors unlocked with no issue, the gates are working, and I have never even sensed trouble since moving in. It is a safe and reasonably priced community with amenities that are comparable to a higher priced community. The free alarm system is an added plus in each apartment, and I feel completely comfortable whether I am home alone or with someone else.

                                              I was moving in from NC and unable to come in to do my initial tour. A friend of mine had a friend who lived here and spoke highly of the community so I decided to research the area and I sent my aunt in to help in the process which is when we were introduced to Nicole. My aunt had rave reviews from just coming in that day to visit the community! I'll never forget Nicole and I spoke on the phone for almost 45 minutes that day having so much in common! I know now that I had to be holding her up from doing so many other things, because she works so hard! She's a true gem and was an angel to my life at that time! She never knew how much that call helped me at that time (until now)! Nicole paid very close attention to the needs I had for my mother (who is disabled). Every need was exceeded because of her dedication! Me and my mother are very comfortable in our apartment because of her! I have only been a resident since March (2015) but I absolutely love the staff! I always run into TJ, who happens to be in the office when I need to pick up a package or handle any concerns I have! He has a great spirit and is always very helpful in any of my crazy requests! Everything I have needed while here, the team has made me feel like I am a priority!! Ashley has helped me several times too, and she's such a sweetheart! I honestly have never caught any of them having a 'bad day'! This team is the absolute best! You can't find that synergy just anywhere! If you're going to be in a lease for months or years, you want to be around a staff that takes good care of you! I will truly miss them when I purchase my home :)

                                                I have been at 88 for two years. I love it because the neighborhood is quiet and safe for my kids. We have Gwinnett Police Officers that live out here and I see them making there daily driving rounds. 88 has nieghborhood events for my kids on weekends and they love it. This is the Best Community Ever!!!!

                                                  I would really consider other options in the area. A few words of warning: First, do not move here if you are uncomfortable with roaches. Although you pay a pest "control" fee and the staff is responsive with service requests, they have a roach infestation issue regardless of your personal level of cleanliness. Secondly, and unfortunately, this is a business that I would not trust. I was charged hundreds of dollars for "damages" that a did not create and was not marked by the staff upon initial inspection. Pretty much expect that they will try to get one over on you: video tape, take pictures, and document your move in because the complex really does give off that "gotcha" vibe and will take advantage of you. The complex also has a trash issue. Not only is the compactor frequently broken (leading to mountains of garbage), the upkeep on the trail is nonexistent; they're littered with trash, broken liquor bottles, broken and rotting wood. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere
