We are recent residents to the community. Just moved in this month and I have to say it has been the best experience so far with an apartment community ever! Our agent was James Wright. He has been extremely helpful and he delivered what was promised which is hard to come by. The community seems to be very nice and quiet. The apartments are beautiful done and spacious. We originally wanted a 3 bedroom but with how spacious the apartments are we were able to get a 2 bedroom and save money. I highly recommend this community and to ask for James as he will take care of you!

I want to recognize Jacob Baker for his outstanding customer service. I have been living at Chelsea for 3 yrs and I was in the process of moving to another apartment facilities because I was no longer in a position to afford the increase in the rent payment. I happened to stop at the Chelsea Office and met Mr. Jacob Baker who really went above and beyond in retaining a good and long standing residence. He is truly a professional, very friendly and exudes good leadership traits. Great leaders understand that some of the best leadership qualities entails listening to others with undivided attention. Jacob listened and he cares. If it wasn't for Mr. Baker, who took the time and was very patient with me, I would have been at Holcomb's Bridge. Thank you so much Mr. Baker for your hard work. Maxine

I am a new resident of the Chelsea 88 community and it's been such an awesome experience since my first contact by phone. The answering service was extremely helpful and knowledgeable being that they were not even on site. I was able to get most of my initial questions answered (and I am a very inquisitive person) right there before a scheduled walk through with an agent. My first impression was already good but went I went with my leasing agent (TJ) he definitely took my experience to the next level. See I ended up at Chelsea as a recommendation after another property nearby was vey unprofessional with following up with me. TJ, however was, and still is, VERY thorough! Every inquiry I had or information to be clarified was answered if not immediately than promptly afterward. I was never once left wondering what was going on with my process because TJ always had me briefed. My working schedule is kind of hectic but this property is very good with their hours so whatever couldn't be emailed was easily given to an agent on the weekend. And can you believe it, this place is open on Sunday! I haven't come across that on a property before. My neighbors are quiet, nothing outside of normal apartment noises like doors closing in the hallway or the occasional upstairs walk around. I have only been here 2 weeks but I feel I made the best choice 1000%!!!

Our experience at Chelsea 88 has been good so far. While no place is perfect, Chelsea offers a lot of value for the money. It's very close to the major highways, a big plus for us commuters. The onsite amenities like the clubhouse, pool, laundry room, makes life easy and convenient. The service/maintenance staff is superb, very quick and professional with all repairs. The front office crew are always friendly and courteous. I have and would recommend Chelsea 88 to anyone looking for an affordable place in Gwinnett.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! This place has HORRIBLE customer service and IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY! I pay 800$ a month for a one bedroom/one bathroom apartment. I moved in April 2015 and ever since I moved in, it has been TERRIBLE! I moved here and did not change my address officially because I had an abusive partner who was stalking me. I told NO ONE where I lived for my own safety. However, the office staff thought it was appropriate to violate my privacy and tell him over the phone that not only did I live in this apartment complex, but also divulged my apartment number. Sure enough, my ex showed up at my apartment at 3am waving a gun around and threatening my life. He told me the staff told him where I lived as I even parked my car away from my apartment building in case he followed me one day. Clearly, the gate and its "security" are a complete joke. When I went to the office to confront the staff, they disregarded my issue and told me it was not their fault or problem. ABSOLUTE DISGRACE of CUSTOMER SERVICE, not to mention that telling anyone I live here is a CRIME. Speaking of the gate, the great staff at Chelsea 88 think it is a fair policy to charge 50$ for a gate card that stops working. Not lost or broken, it just stopped working. When I tried to explain that I hadn't taken my card out of my car and I have it intact, not broken in any way, I was told that it did not matter. I had to pay 50$ for them to rewrite it or I could just use the guest entrance and call myself when I wanted to enter into my apartment. I asked her what I would do if my phone was dead or the key pad stopped working because that happens ALL THE TIME, she again told me that it wasn't her fault or her problem. When I asked to speak to a manager, she told me that it wouldn't do me any good and I wasn't getting out of paying the 50$. Again, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE and the rudest woman I think I have ever met. On top of the staff, my neighbors are loud and smoke marijuana ALL THE TIME. My 800$ a month apartment constantly smells like weed and the staff DOES NOTHING. They DO NOT CARE about their residents! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! IT IS NOT WORTH IT!

I lived in Chelsea since may. The process and paperwork of getting into the apartment was extremely easy with the help of Tj. The whole stay is amazing. Anything we need help with they help us right away, same goes with the maintenence crew. I'm glad I went with Chelsea 88. Great apartment experience for my wife and I.

I ask James if he could help me with a problem I had my father is 88 years old and he had a flat tire I ask him if he could help me out. He in return ask the Denise Noel the Community Manager, and she said the he could help. Also anytime I have put in a work request the work has been done in the same day. He is very professional in the way he explains things and is also very helpful.

I have been a residence of Chelsea 88 since April 2015. My apartment search was along one, because it's only my daughter and I...so i'm always looking for a great environment and home for us to feel comfortable. Every one in the leasing office is so AWESOME!!!! From Nicole Gagliardi, Jacob B and last but certainly not T.J. Miller. T.J. is such a personable Consultant that any time I call and ask questions he knows who I am just by my voice and honestly that makes me feel so great. I am the resident that seems to always have packages in the front office and they don't make me feel horrible for any inconvenience this may cause. To say the least these are the nicest staff and beautiful apartments in the Gwinnett/Duluth Area to me. Safety and Tidiness are a HUGE deal for me and they exceed those two.

My roommates and I have only had positive experiences during our stay here. James was very helpful walking us through the application process, answered all of our questions and kept us constantly informed when our apartment was delayed. Our 3 room apartment is beautiful, well maintained, are very insulated from the outside and our neighbors, and feels like a much more expensive apartment than it is. The only option for Internet is Charter and we're perfectly ok with that. All of our maintenence calls have been answered between an hour and a day of being put in. The neighborhood is much quieter than I had expected, no music blasting at any time of day, no extremely loud exhausts blaring through. I've never had any safety issues here and I haven't had any problem walking around at night. The parking lot is pretty uneven and I hate speed bumps which is the only reason I can't give the grounds a 5*. We made a great choice to live here. Our apartment is extremely quiet, very comfortable, the location is prime considering all the driving we do and it's all for anow affordable price. We're planning on renewing next year.

It is almost six months residing here at 88, and I still have peace of mind for the decision made to live here. It is safe due to being right in vicinity of Gwinnett Police Department, it is clean due to maintenance constantly doing a wonderful job of keeping it 'prepped' and reliably responding to service requests, the residents are multi-ethnic making the community very diverse, and from my experience, pleasantly mature / reserved. The staff makes living here even more pleasant, particularly T.J , whom deserves a people person award for doing such an outstanding job of making moving in a stress free job as well as making sure any other residential needs are cared for. Nicole is very kind and if necessary will go out of her way to help with any issues. Love them! This community has great amenities, not only for the adults, but the kids as well. A house, no matter how immaculate, is not really a home if those who live in and around have consistent negative vibes - no community is %100 perfect, but this is close enough.

I moved in August 22 so I have only been here about 2.5 months. I must say I have absolutely enjoyed my time here. I moved from the Henry County area and I used apartment ratings to find Chelsea 88. The customer service here is amazing. Every time I call the main office or have questions they always respond or get right back to me. These are the most pleasant people I have ever dealt with. TJ is my favorite and he has the BEST personality. The are is great; it's near other apartments. but close to shopping and eating....and my favorite, right near the interstate. I live on the second floor and was worried about the noise level, but so far there hasn't been any noise. The parking lot is not noisy and every over here works, so it's not like living near a frat house. For the price this place is great. Hands down the best apartment in the Duluth/Lawrenceville area.

Been a resident of Astor Place since January 2015 and for the most part everything has been very pleasant. The apartments are nice, the staff is friendly, and the amenities are solid. The only problem my partner and I are having is the neighbors' poor care for their dogs. We go to sleep at 11pm with dogs barking very loud outside, get woken up in the middle of the night by dogs barking, and then again at 7am the dogs are barking. I'd like for the staff to speak with the owners responsible to have them keep their dogs inside so it doesn't keep the whole complex up!!

I am a new tenant here at Chelsea 88 so i have really only had experience with the staff. They are funny, down to earth, and very helpful. I love how they acknowledge you when you walk in the door. Anything that I needed fixed or any issues I thought I had were fixed right away. The only thing I would love to see is more parking. But the Fitness Center is AMAZING!!!!!! My favorite place.

I have renewed my lease with Chelsea 88 twice now simply because the Management, Staff and Maintenance and Support have been excellent. I was tempted to go else where at renewal until I met the other place's staff and it was just not the same connection I had with Chelsea 88. The Staff was the main reason I even signed a lease because they were just awesome and flexible and did not treat me like another commission paycheck and forget about you. The agent I signed everything with followed up with me within 30 days of moving in to check to see how I was doing. That alone meant a lot because we all know moving and settling into a new place is stressful as it is and to know they are checking in on you to make sure everything is alright? That is a plus in my book.

We just moved in last week. We were so taken with the apartments, the staff, the community when we began our search for a new home we opted to wait several months for the apartment of our dreams to be available. It is more than we ever imagined. If you want to be wowed by a warm, professional staff and outstanding amenities - this is the place for you!

I have been living here for 2 years and I absolutely love it here! The staff is professional and always takes care of what I need in a timely manner. TJ is my leasing agent and he has helped me always with a smile on face. The support of the leasing company makes all the difference when you live in an apartment. It is what makes me stay at this property. I can depend on maintenance requests getting done without asking twice, I am treated with respect like a familiar friend, and not like "just another tenant". The staff here actually CARE about the grounds staying clean, property looking good, the parking be safe and they are just all around great people. You get what you pay for; and the rent here is a small price to pay for peace of mind where you live! Thanks TJ for making Chelsea 88 an easy place to call home!

The Pros: Lived here going on 2 years. The community is great. Maintenance is on top of everything and usually there within the hour the next day. The gym is fully equipped for a full body workout and really don't need a gym membership to save money. The pools are great and cleaned weekly. James helped us move in. He was great but he is no longer there. T.J. and Nicole are awesome to work with if you need anything. There is also a club house that I was told you can rent. They have activities going on in the community and wish there could be more. There are days they are at the gate with breakfast also. The Cons: The community it pretty quiet. I gave noise a 1 star only for my neighbors above me. The walking/stomping/banging is horrible to the point things fall off my wall. Vacuums maybe 6+ times a day. Dog constantly barks sometimes. There is a knock type noise in the bathroom as well but goes away. Improvements: I agree with the others. With a community this size I think there should be a second trash compactor. Maintenance does stay on top of it but when they are off its just piles up. I think there should be a walking path to the back gate. New mail boxes. Keys tend to get stuck a lot and the door doesn't close well.

I've only lived here for a little while but I really am enjoying my new home. My apartment was spotless when we did the walk though and on move in day the one or two small things I'd noticed had been repaired and a note was left on the counter. I love the floor plan, it's very open with high ceilings so I don't feel like I'm living in a box. The windows are huge which is something I didn't see often when I was looking to move. The neighborhood is quiet and honestly the only time I heard my neighbors was on football Sunday and I had all of the windows open. The neighborhood is also very very well lit both in the parking lot and in the passageways. The gate is ALWAYS closed I checked a few times before I moved in and it has been every time I've been at it. The grounds are very well kept and I haven't really seen any bugs inside or outside. As far as the leasing staff I've only really dealt with Christy. She's super sweet and very good at her job. She's made me feel more than welcome even calling me on move in day to make sure everything was just right and went well. The only real negative is that the gate doesn't shut fast enough or there needs to be security by it or something. People will try to zip in right behind you often these people are waiting at the call box and just back up and follow whoever. That's really the only issue. Overall I'd reccomend this place to friends.

I've lived here about a month now and so far I really like Chelsea88 The pros: Leasing staff really take their job seriously and they work hard and even take care of things that aren't strictly leasing issues. TJ is my leasing agent and he's great. The grounds are beautiful and cared for. You feel safe in this community. The neighbors so far are nice and quiet. Apartment was in good condition and maintenance tickets were resolved quickly. They also ask your feedback on maintenance. The gym has never been crowded and we'll equipped. Bottom line, I'm very happy with my choice and would recommend it to my friends. The cons Other reviewers have valid points about the gate and trash. People just follow each other through the gates. Maybe some security cams at the gate would be nice? But you're going to run into that everywhere. The trash site has been backed up at times too. But it doesn't stop me from taking my trash out. It seems like they do remove it regularly, just the size of this community generates alot of trash. I also didn't like the machine room/bathtub noise in my apt. It's this drumming noise that's somewhat loud. Goes on for awhile then stops. Bothered me more at first but you kinda get use to it. Personally I really like this place. There's no place that's perfect, unless you have some deep pockets. So far the people here care about their job, and that makes a big difference.

I moved in back in August and I have really enjoyed my apartment home compared to other apartments this floor plan was specific was for me. The leasing agents are awesome. One thing I would change is the gate system. When you come in your neighbor come in right behind you without using the card. Other than that I am please especially with my leasing agent Mrs. Russell she the best.
